Allbirds earns strong reviews for exceptional comfort, light weight, and machine-washable ease, making Tree Runners, Wool Runners, and loungers reliable everyday and travel shoes; however, many note limited support for long walks/runs, faster tread wear and toe holes, wool styles running warm and staining easily, narrow sizing without half sizes, and a polarizing, sometimes “dated” look. Overall, the brand is good for casual wear and sustainability-minded buyers, but not ideal for heavy-duty performance or those needing robust arch support and long-term durability.

I recently purchased my second pair of Men's Tree Dasher 2 sneakers and overall, I'm quite pleased with them. The comfort level is exceptional, just like my previous pair. However, I have a few concerns that prevent me from giving them a higher rating. One significant issue is that the color of the sneakers is highly susceptible to the effects of sweat. Unfortunately, this means that after a workout or a particularly active day, the shoes can end up looking noticeably discolored. I believe it's essential for potential buyers to be aware of this aspect, as the appearance of the sneakers can be affected by perspiration. Curiosity prompted me to reach out to customer support when someone at the gym inquired about the discoloration issue. To my disappointment, the response from customer support was unsatisfactory. They insinuated that I must have used bleach or other chemicals that caused the discoloration. It seemed rather illogical, considering the shoes are black, and there would be no reason for me to use bleach on them. This experience left me with a negative impression of their customer service. Despite the subpar customer support, I find the shoes to be highly comfortable, which is their redeeming quality. I will continue wearing them, but it's important for potential buyers to be aware of the potential color-related issues and the less-than-stellar customer service.

I had a pair of gray, lace-up Allbirds several years ago. Not one shoe has ever compared in comfort, style AND true sustainable production. They made me happy every time I put them on. Unfortunately, I left them under the desk in a hotel room, and like magic, they were gone!
Feedback
I adore them for comfort, but they do lack the stability and support needed for running (although my running is more like shuffling). They're absolutely great for low impact activities and general everyday stuff.

I have bought three pairs of shoes and I have loved them all! Only shoes I wear for working out! I also love their mission and sustainability!

They’re expensive, $120 average for a pair.

I (mom) have 2 Allbirds shoes as well as various apparel items (underwear, bra, and workout tank!). I absolutely am obsessed with Allbirds and recommend them to my friends and family almost all of the time. The cherry on top (and really the reason I initially purchased) is that Allbirds thrives on their sustainable message and practices. Their shoes are like walking on a cloud PLUS they're made from sustainable materials <3

Any expansion to dog apparel or booties for my pup Remington? ;)

The most comfortable sneaker I’ve ever worn. Great sizing, breathable material, stylish color selection. Need another pair in my life ASAP!

Bottom of the shoe wears out a little too quickly and loses the tread faster than my other brand sneakers.

They are not kidding when they say these shoes are comfortable! These shoes are like putting on a pair of clouds on your feet. I usually put a lot of pressure on my heels and the ball of my feet when walking/running, after taking other shoes off, these specific areas always feel slightly sore and numb. With these pair of shoes, my feet are always properly cushioned and protected. The uppers are made of a breathable mesh fabric, when you stretch your toes, you feel a bit of a breeze passing between your toes. Whenever I’m standing still, I find myself stretching my toes to make this kind of breathing motion. It sounds weird but If you know, you know.

I bought my first pair in 2015 and it was the regular navy wool sneaker. I really liked wearing to the office because it looked nice and it was very comfortable. After a couple years and washes, the shoe began to lose its structure, which led me to look to buy the high-top water-resistant wool in olive green. I’ve also gifted it to many people in my family and they all seem to love the style of it. The sizing feels accurate, but with time it does expand due to the nature of the material. The only significant customization I’ve done is replacing the laces with a more elastic band to make it easier to slip in and out of, which is why it is still my go-to airport/travel pair of shoes.

The only issues I’ve experienced with it are minor: As mentioned before, the fabric material doesn’t hold its shape as well long-term. The soles also aren’t well suited for extreme weather conditions, such as slushy ice, or heavy rain as it doesn’t have much traction in those settings. The last thing that might be an issue is that scuffs on sides are really hard to clean off perfectly, but I personally don’t mind it.

Tore a tendon in my foot my first time running in these, never wore the again. Poor quality and a terrible running shoe.

Got a pair from my work and use them specifically for my under the desk treadmill and they are so comfy!

Marca de Tênis de muito boa qualidade e conforto . Recomendo a todos que gostem de usar um ótimo calçado no dia a dia .!

The allure of sustainability is twofold: (1) the item is made of sustainable materials and (2) the product ought to have a lifecycle that lasts for an extended period of time so that it does not need a future replacement. Spoiler alert: these last ~8 months with weekly wear before the soles give out and the literal shoe beings to disintegrate. Because these shoes are so chic, after my first pair passed away (rip), I bough another one. And to my dismay, in less than a year, my second pair gave up on itself (rip x2). So, according to my definition of what makes a sustainable product, Allbirds, sadly, are not sustainable </3

love these slip on sneakers. easy to throw in the wash. i've used them as slippers and as house shoes. the wool can get dirty easily and i find the tread wears down quickly from outdoor use but they're inexpensive and washable so i still highly recommend for low impact

If your priority is comfort, especially for walking long distances, Allbirds are among the better options. If style or flair is equally important, they may feel a little underwhelming but for many people, they hit a sweet middle ground of “wearable and easy".

I first discovered all birds after a foot injury that required I wear a sneaker that had a lot of room at the toe box, being able to wear them instead of the boot really helped in my recovery and I got hooked they are comfortable cute and easy to wash. big fan I have even purchased them for my kids who also really like them.
Question - are Allbirds still a vibe, or have they had their moment?
I've owned a bunch of Allbirds over the years. I've always found them to be incredibly comfy and well made. They last ages, and clean up very well. However I've noticed fewer people wearing them, instead seeing way more Vejas around. Anyway, my question is - are Allbirds still a vibe, or should I be considering something else for my next pair of sneakers?
Allbirds are my absolute favourite shoes. First off they look cool, and are versatile to go with most outfits. They're incredibly comfy, to the point where I'm not even aware I'm wearing them. They're also very long lasting and durable - they typically last twice as long as other similar shoes I've tried. Finally I love how Allbirds is on a mission to use sustainable materials in their shoes.
Allbirds shoes are extremely comfortable. They are similar to a sneaker, but can also be worn with khakis. They appear to be durable and don't give you that bulky sneaker look.
I know that Allbirds have fallen out of fashion to some degree. But I still really enjoy them! At least the classic wool runners. They're the perfect, simple tennis shoe to throw on to go on a walk with a friend or go to the grocery store. Perfect for chasing toddlers at the park. I love how easy they are to slip on and off- and I really wore mine to death. I do recommend removing the insoles and buying a better insole (which is easy to do). And for me, I definitely wouldn't go barefoot in these- my feet sweat a lot. I'd love to see Allbirds still stay in the game, and innovate as much as possible. Their more casual tennis shoe was very bulky and weird, so would love if they could come up with something that rivaled an adidas samba model or something.
I got these shoes and love them. I like how well they fit my foot, and the laces feel extra wide to support my foot better. I like how sustainable the production of these products are as well.
I purchased a pair of deeply discounted boxer briefs from Woot a few months ago. Well worth the money and hood enough to make me want to try the shoes in the future.
