Supergoop! wins strong reviews for making daily SPF genuinely wearable and effective, with Unseen Sunscreen praised as weightless, invisible, and makeup‑primer smooth, and Glow Screen loved for its luminous tint; however, many reviews flag greasiness, pilling, breakouts, and mixed protection on long, hot days. Reviewers applaud no white cast, diverse textures, kid‑friendly PLAY, and on‑the‑go formats, while citing weaknesses like chemical scent, occasional separation, limited shade range in tints, and a consistently high price for small sizes.

  • I am such a Supergoop fan! I tell everybody about them. I tried them about 3 years ago, but I have to say, it's the Unseen Sunscreen that keeps me coming back. Dare I say...Unseen makes it fun to put on sunscreen?!

Their body lotion sunscreen still feels/smells a lot like sunscreen. What I love about Unseen is that yes, it does smell slightly like sunscreen, but that scent doesn't follow you throughout the day. Would love to see them continue that with other products.

  • I want to scream on rooftops about my love for the Unseen Sunscreen. I don't understand how it can be so light and airy, yet work so well.

I have heard the "reef-safe" claim might not actually be true

  • I really like the brand and the products they offer.

  • I was very disappointed to learn that the ingredients in literally all of their products are apparently incredibly bad for you. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because I vibe with the brand’s overall packaging/aesthetic. The said, will I ever use or buy again? Absolutely not.

  • I didn't love the SPF at all. The formula was greasy and didn't sit well on my skin, and it also left a cast. I find it pricey and not worth the money.

  • I love a good facial sunscreen and am happy that supergoop continues to dominate the susncreen game! This unseen sunscreen is sheer, adds a nice glow, and is wearable all day. The bottle does last months for me thus I think it is a good value for me to wear this product everyday!

  • I used their glowy sunscreen and loved the glow it brought to my skin - I didn’t really need to add any makeup. The only issue is that is caused some breakouts and wasn’t super moisturizing for my dry, eczema skin so I had to pair it with another moisturizer. I purchased for my mom, who has a completely different skin type from me, and she loves it!! I’d recommend getting the smaller bottle first and seeing if it works for your skin and then if it does, move to the larger bottle. It lasts a long time - and I used it daily!

  • I love the unseen sunscreen because it gives a satiny finish and feels good on my skin. I also love their huge bottle of everyday lotion. I keep it by the entryway for convenience.

  • The glowscreen should be considered a public enemy by all members of the combination and oily skin community, as well as by anyone prone to acne. The sunscreen lipgloss tastes intensely of chemicals and ruins the ability to eat. Love their cutie packaging, dislike the products.

  • The Supergoop Glowscreen SPF 4 has truly become a game-changer in my skincare routine. Not only does it provide excellent sun protection, but it also gives my skin the most beautiful, radiant glow!!! All my friends became addict as well The lightweight and silky texture of Glowscreen make it a joy to apply. It effortlessly blends into my skin, leaving behind a luminous finish that makes me feel like I've just stepped out of a spa. It's the perfect base for makeup or for those days when I want to go makeup-free but still look radiant. What sets this sunscreen apart is the added skincare benefits. I've noticed a significant improvement in my skin's overall texture and tone since I started using it regularly. Plus, the SPF 40 protection gives me peace of mind knowing my skin is shielded from harmful UV rays. The fragrance is also delightful. it's not overpowering and adds to the luxurious feel of this product. I appreciate that it's suitable for all skin types, and it hasn't caused any breakouts or irritation. Overall, Supergoop Glowscreen SPF 40 is a must-have for anyone looking to protect their skin from the sun while achieving a natural, healthy glow. It's become a staple in my daily skincare routine, and I can't recommend it enough!

  • Very easy to apply and cute packaging. Does clog my pores and make me break out quite a bit.

  • I struggled to find an everyday sunscreen for my face that wouldn't make me feel like a greasy, clogged pore mess by the end of the day and then Unscreen Sunscreen entered by life. I'll sing its praises to anyone who will listen. No breakouts, goes on so smoothly and never leaves my skin feeling icky.

  • I am mixed on these products. I love the sunscreen powder for reapplication, but I will stick with my La Roche Posay for my regular sunscreen. The formulas from supergoop have not worked as well for me. I wanted to love them more because they do have such fun and playful packaging. I am definitely interested to try the sunscreen mist though!

  • It completely lives up to the hype! I do think the sunscreen can have a wee bit of a sheen to it, but it is truly my favorite!

  • This is my fav go-to sunscreen. The brand has many options to choose from for any occasion. If I am going makeup free, I opt for glowscreen for a refreshed look. When doing a bit more, I will use unseen sunscreen to not interfere with the look. They all go on very smooth and I do not feel or look oily as I do with some other brands.

My drawback with this brand is pricing. I wish it was a bit more affordable than other brands, but overall I feel the product is worth it.

  • I have the "unscreen sunscreen" face sunscreen and it has been working very well. I am currently in Australia, and most US sunscreen does not work well against the sun over here, but I have not had an issue with this one. Also, it is not greasy at all and my sensitive skin has not been irritated by this yet.

  • Supergoop has such a huge assortment that some products are an absolute slam dunk and some are not so good. I think at the end of the day that's kind of the point-- they wanted to put sunscreen on the map in a less clinical, more approachable, maybe even fun way, and they were really the first to do it. They're reliable and available at pretty much every retailer you'd turn to, so I think of them as my safe bet-- if I can't get my hands on the exact sunscreen formulas I love from Vacation or Tower28 I know that I'm going to be fine with Supergoop Glow Screen or the spray.
