  • Luxurious, hydrating textures
  • Addictive lip balm scents
  • Travel-friendly, elegant packaging
  • Lightweight, dewy finishes
  • Occasional irritating formulations
  • Sticky lip balm feel
  • Ultra-sheer base coverage
  • Fussy, imperfect packaging

Summer Fridays earns strong reviews for delivering hydrating, glow-giving staples—especially the viral Lip Butter Balm and Jet Lag Mask—which many say keep lips plush for hours and revive dry, travel-worn skin. Reviews also flag meaningful drawbacks: several users report irritation or breakouts (including reactions to Jet Lag and eye formulas), divisive scents and stickiness in some lip shades, very sheer base products, and packaging gripes, making the brand feel overhyped or not worth it for some.

  • The lip balm is my absolute favorite - I don't go a day without it and I love the different tinted shades. The hype around the jet lag mask is insane, but it may just not be for my skin type. The gel moisturizers are amazing though! I also love the overall brand/branding!

  • Great product! Have tried the blue and golden packaged masks. Feels really luxurious when using it and makes my skin feel great.

I appreciate the tin packaging but don't think it is recyclable and would appreciate it if it was. Also don't like how you have to buy the metal tool to get all the product from the tube. A little scammy to me.

  • Have only tried theirs masks and I love love love their Overtime mask. Smells so good, feels nice and my skin looked so fresh and clear after!

  • The branding, the products, the founders - all 11/10! Love how simple the product is and it works beautifully.

  • Obsessed with the cute packaging and skin-loving ingredients in the Summer Fridays jet lag mask! It can be used as a heavy moisturizer as well and leaves my skin feeling lush. I can't wait to try the lipbalm and the exfoliating mask!

  • I cannot speak to literally any product besides that Jet Lag Mask but WOW that one is great as a mask but also just as a moisturizer. It works so well for my dry skin during the winters.

If you don't have the money to spend on it, I totally get it because MAN it is expensive. I never would've bought it for myself previously (I got it as a gift). Now though? I'm not sure, I just may splurge on it when I run out.

  • Just ok - never blown away by their products. Lip stuff is the best of it all.

  • I love Summer Fridays! So hydrating on the skin, as I would recommend for people with dry skin like myself.

  • Only used the lip balm. Decent texture nice vanilla scent and love the ergonomic applicator. Would I buy again? Maybe if I'm bored?

  • Summer Fridays is supposed to be sensitive skin friendly, and none of their products sat well on my face without my face tingling...? I'm really unsure what to make of it. I know people either LOVE Summer Fridays or had the same, adverse reaction as I did. Beautiful packaging, and beautiful gifting for those that like the brand and skin works with the product. I am, however, just not in their target range... Be sure to patch test, everyone!

  • I have only tried the Jet Lag mask but I really liked it. I like that you can use it in multiple ways: as a moisturizer, a mask, or an overnight mask. I would like to try their other products.

  • I love how sleek and simple the packaging in, the products are all great quality, and they have products for everyone!

  • I have multiple Summer Fridays products (Jet lag mask, skin tint, lip balms) and really like them a lot. I use the skin tint daily as it provides a light coverage that I am looking for. Some may say it is watery which it is pretty liquid-y but it has good coverage and spread and no scent like other skin tints. The lip balm are nice and have a subtle color but I find my lips not as hydrated when I use them. The Jet lag mask is a nice layer to add for really dry months, so I only find myself using it in the winter for extra moisturizing.

  • I especially love the jet lag mask and retinol from summer fridays… I regularly use the jet lag mask, but definitely when I travel if I want to look fresh/refreshed wherever I’m landing. And the retinol is great in the winter because it has a richer formula than other retinols I’ve tried, but it absorbs very nicely.

  • as someone who was excited to review this brand, it really disappointed me. the products seem to be overpriced for the formulas they provide. as someone with sensitive skin some of the products seemed to irritate it which i found surprising. overall i’m not impressed.

  • I really love the packaging and ingredients that Summer Fridays uses. I really like their cleanser and moisturizer. But I started buying their products because of their viral Jet Lag mask, which I didn’t like. It didn’t do much for me.

  • BEST SUNSCREEN and BEST LIP TREATMENT! The Sunscreen is a great mineral sunscreen that does not leave a white cast. I think you can pass on the jet lag mask

  • I overall really love this brand. Their lip balms are perfect, every shade but especially brown sugar. It is an obsession of mine. And I really enjoy their jet lag mask but I find that in the winter it is not powerful enough for my normal skin. I also adore their sheer skin tint. it has a light coverage and a very natural finish.

  • I personally have been extremely impressed with my Summer Fridays products. I have each of the face masks as well as the lip balm. I like how the face masks feel very luxurious and still clean feeling. The lip balm is one of my new favorites and isn't too sticky yet looks nice on its own or over lipstick.

  • Their lip balm is the best lip balm ever. It’s so hydrating and the only one that works for me in the winter.
