Stasher Bag wins praise in reviews for durable, leak-resistant silicone storage that replaces single‑use plastic, performs in freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and even sous vide, and comes in versatile, space‑saving sizes and colors. However, many reviewers flag persistent drawbacks: tough-to-clean seams, slow drying that can lead to odors or mildew, occasional staining or smell retention, tricky openings, and rare tears or imperfect seals with liquids—making bowls/stand-up styles preferred for ease of use.

  • I love stasher bags! They are so handy when it comes to freezing leftovers or storing snacks on the go. I have to admit that I was a bit taken aback by the price point at first, but I would 'invest' again because compared to other similar products I've tried, they are the most durable and easiest to clean ones - highly recommend!

  • I love these bags! I use them for everything: storing lunches to take to work; storing food in the fridge or freezer; organizing my cords; organizing my bottomless pit of a purse; everything! They are so awesome for traveling and for organizing small items. I appreciate that I can throw them in the dishwasher, though they do take a while to fully dry out because water gets stuck in the seal, but I am fine with that!

  • These are so convenient and cool. As someone who brings snacks, lunch to work with me i am always carrying around tupperware or baggies. these are more flexible than tupperware but way more ecofriendly than baggies!

  • Use these to freeze bananas and leftover veggies. Clean up great -- even in the dishwasher!

  • I wanted to love these and I do love them for packing dry items. But they are hard to clean if contents are wet or get squashed. I haven't had any issues with smell absorbtion but I don't think I'd pack anything with a strong oder, either. Great for what they are but find something else for wet foods.

  • Meh. I love the concept of these - I hate using throw away zip lock bags because they are so wasteful and bad for the environment, but with these guys, I feel like it's hard to keep them clean and smell good. Especially after storing more "smelly items" in them, I find it hard to get the scent out, and sometimes there's a bit of a dry but slimy feeling film left on them after washing - not sure how to better describe! I think these are a great gift for your eco conscious friend. I wish the cleaning experience was easier though, and I find they take up more space when storing than traditional zip lock bags that fit better into your small nooks.

  • I am in love with these little bags. I have buy the sandiwch bag recently and it is absolutly amazing. it is sustainable and it is really cute.

  • Very sturdy, easy to clean (just flip it inside out), and great for those that prefer grazing/snacking to full on meals. I’m a flight attendant and put a great variety in these. Almost put -1 star for expense but you have gotten your moneys worth.

  • I’ve had stasher bags for many years and they’ve all held up! I love using them for my baked goods and putting them in the freezer.

  • I love using these to portion out my snacks because otherwise I'll finish the whole bag. I will say you can't keep them in here and expect them to stay fresh very long, keeping chips in the bag is still the best for that, but these are pretty good if I'm going out and want a small portion of snacks.

  • I received my first stasherbag from Birchbox a few years back. I first used it as a makeup bag, due to the waterproof material that made it easy to wipe clean. I purchased two more a matter of weeks later for my mine and my parters lunch. Since then I’ve bought many more for various different uses around the house, and just love them!!

  • Love these. They are useful for so many things!! Definitely will keep purchasing. Price is a little higher but they are cute

  • Love the idea of reusable bags and all the colors Stasher bags come in. I use them not only for food storage, but also for travel and keeping smaller items organized. The only downside for me is that they can be difficult to open and deep clean sometimes.

  • In permanent rotation at our house or in my bag. Portable. Cleans easily in dishwasher. Plan to buy more as soon as I get my hands on a coupon or deal.

  • Pricey when not discounted but great for freezing or storing leftovers, snacks, dog food, anything. I’ve frozen cooked rice or quinoa to reheat later, soups, other meals, and even water to use as an ice pack. They’re dishwasher safe, which is great. Great for travel or work lunches. I know they can be used for sous vide. I recently learned you can use the big ones to make popcorn in the microwave and 🤯

  • I use Stasher bags literally every day. I own almost every size and format, and am always looking to score more on sale. I especially like the flat, sandwich bag size and the bowl format. These things, along with cloth napkins, have been the most surprising, versatile heroes in my kitchen. They're super practical, very easy to wash (dishwasher ftw), and are easy to sanitize if you let disgusting mold or stinky items set-up shop inside the bag (I found the instructions for how to do this on their website). I will occasionally use glass storage when I'm concerned about preserving the shape of an item, or if it's a very, very wet item (i.e, soup), because I'm paranoid ... but I've also tested the bowl bags on liquid items and they performed excellently. If you get your friend this item for Xmas or birthdays, they will be very grateful, too. Trust me. Invest in them slowly if on a budget -- you won't regret it.

  • I love these. They are great for freezing things. I hope more people take the time to get reusable bags!
