Stasher Bag wins praise in reviews for durable, leak-resistant silicone storage that replaces single‑use plastic, performs in freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and even sous vide, and comes in versatile, space‑saving sizes and colors. However, many reviewers flag persistent drawbacks: tough-to-clean seams, slow drying that can lead to odors or mildew, occasional staining or smell retention, tricky openings, and rare tears or imperfect seals with liquids—making bowls/stand-up styles preferred for ease of use.

  • Really great seal on these. Keeps food fresh, also useful with soaking/cleaning fragile objects.

  • Stasher pioneered the wave of silicone storage bags - great for food, but also great for travel. The stasher bags are also wonderful for campers and backpackers trying to pack less for when it comes to food storage and prep. I personally use my stasher bags as treat holders for my dog in my walking bags, carry cases for my cosmetics, and of course, to hold leftover veggie scraps for stocks! There is a variety of application for these durable bags that zip-loc and other plastic storage bags cannot compare to.

  • I love Stasher products. I use the for storing leftovers, freezing, packing snacks and lunches, travel, and more. Everything cleans super well and the products doesn’t retain smells. I’ve been using mine for years with not damage or breakdown.

  • Best reusable bags as an alternative to disposable ones! Cute looking solve to helping the planet. 10 out of 10 recommend!

  • Been using them for years -- nice and structured and have lasted through hundreds of dishwasher loads. Knockoffs we've had melted in the dishwasher.

  • Great alternative to the usual ziploc bag waste. Perfect for snacks, kids stuff in the car, hikes, and beach trips. We have a set of Stasher bags that we use all the time. Pros - less waste, reusable, durable, and colorful bags. Cons - sticky texture on the bag can sometimes take salts and seasonings off of internal contents, need a dedicated place to dry them. These are worth the effort and definitely a staple in our house.

  • they're pricey but worth it, in my opinion! they hold up well and can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. a lot of reusable storage bags are horrible seals but these are honestly really good.

  • Stasher is making it easier to be eco-friendly (conscious and actionable!). I use their bags for leftovers and snacks - they are a perfect alternative to disposable plastic baggies.

  • I ask for stasher bags every birthday and Christmas. I love them. You can freeze them, they're dishwasher safe, they're cute, AND the ziplock mechanism NEVER gets weird like other bags where it doesn't close all the way. They are the best reusable storage bag I've found (and I love eco-friendly alternatives.)

  • I feel so much better using these reusable stasher bags than I do using classic disposable sandwich bags. They're easy to clean too!

  • I love Stasher bags! I use them for everything. They have held up well over the years. The variable sizes not only work for food storage but for medications, traveling, and other supplies.

  • I've tried both Stasher bags and the cheaper generic ones, and I must say, Stasher does a much better job at sealing shut. I use them mainly for organizing non-liquid items like snacks, teas, and vegetables. Currently, I'm testing how well they contain smells. I have different loose-leaf teas stored in separate Stasher bags, all placed together in a single tin container. The teas include mint, chai, chamomile, English breakfast, and hojicha. It's been 3 months, and amazingly, the tin doesn't smell of tea at all! The bags are easy to seal and reseal, and the teas remain fragrant. Also I'd like to note: - I'm pretty sensitive to smells, but I've never had any issues with Stasher bags. There's no "plasticky" smell on my food. - I have yet to try them for liquid-based items, so I can't share my experience on that yet. 4/5 stars 🌟 (will update after I test with liquid)

  • I love these products but probably don’t use them as much as I could. I’ve heard you can do fun things like skis-vide and make popcorn but I mainly use for storage. I also bought mine on sale - not sure if I think they’re worth the money.

  • I use my set to store package-free toiletries and dry snacks while traveling. They can be annoying to clean and dry, and I don’t love that they’re made of plastic, but they’re a good choice of airline travel because they’re lightweight and flexible unlike many plastic-free alternatives. They do seal beautifully, to the point where they can be difficult to pry open again, so no worries from a waterproofing perspective.

  • Love the concept however these are very hard to clean if you put liquid or oils of any kind

  • I bought a Stasher Bag to use for dry snacks and cut-up fruit. I love that they are dishwasher-safe and com in fun colors. They stay sealed well, and I could see myself buying more. There are cheaper knock-offs, but the quality of Stasher Bags is excellent and worth the cost. My only qualm with them is that hair and dirt stick to the outside of the bags because of the silicone material. It can be cleaned off but kind of annoying and a bit gross feeling even though it's on the outside.

  • A MUST in my kitchen. I have every shape and size. These Stashers made it *so* easy to give up on single-use plastic bags in the kitchen because everything about these are superior.

  • I have a whole assortment of stasher bags. I use them daily with my toddler for lunch, carry things in my backpack and organize misc things around my apt. I've had some stashers for over 3 years with daily dishwasher use that still look new. These are worth the cost because they last forever.
