Reviews mention

  • Playful, confidence-boosting branding
  • Clever, mirrored refillable compact
  • Cute, expressive patch designs
  • Gentle, non-irritating hydrocolloid
  • Inconsistent, weak patch adhesion
  • Limited extraction effectiveness
  • Small, one-size star patches
  • Awkward, curling star points

Starface wins praise in reviews for playful branding, a handy refillable compact, and making acne feel celebratory, yet its classic Hydro-Stars often underperform versus competitors at extracting “gunk,” reducing inflammation, or staying put—especially overnight. While some users see quick results (notably with Micro-Cloud or blue salicylic acid stars), many cite weak adhesion, small one-size patches, and limited efficacy on early or cystic blemishes, making the brand better for pick-prevention and daytime cover than potent treatment.

  • Love that they absolutely made it okay to embrace that all skin is not perfect. I cannot help but smile when I see teens wearing these stickers. I am in my 40's and I put them on and remind myself my skin is my skin. I just wish they weren't so expensive.

  • The pimple patches are really cute but they do not do anything for my stubborn pimples.

  • I personally am not a fan of the star pimple patches I personally like the hero ones, but I know these are cheaper, but I feel like they don’t work as good as other ones on the market. I’ll just say though is I know a lot of people do wear them and I do see them a lot more often than pimple patches

  • The only pimple patches that have worked for me. I am not a fan of the designs / loud colors, but the patches themselves are quality

  • You can't beat Starface for simple, cute pimple patches. They have the cutest designs on the market and they do a great job of destigmatizing acne and making pimple care fun. Of course, the products do what they say they're going to do.

  • i got a bunch of starface products from their collabs with my school but unfortuately have not had the chance to use their acne products, lol dont hate i have no acne. my friends love it tho

Received a free product from Starface
  • STARFACE pimple patches are a game changer for anyone dealing with acne. These cute, star-shaped patches are not only fun to wear, but they also work effectively to help reduce inflammation and speed up the healing process. They provide a protective barrier from dirt and bacteria while keeping the blemish covered, making them great for daytime use. Overall, STARFACE pimple patches are a stylish and practical solution for acne care that delivers noticeable results. Highly recommended for anyone looking to manage breakouts!

  • I love that we are now normalizing and embracing pimples and making it fun. I break out every once in a while, and I wear them on dates, to work, to hang out with friends etc. I always try to match them with my outfits and got so many compliments! It may not be the most effective pimple patch I've used, but it's healing little girl in me who was so helplessly putting concealer on a face full of acne in high school... and that alone is worth the price.

  • Starface is so cute. Very expensive though and the pimple patches are not as great as others.

  • Very unremarkable - would not often even stick to my face...

  • I think this is genius. As an adult male I rarely get pimples but when I do, Starface had become my way have having fun with it. I can thank my teenage niece.

  • I am a big fan of acne patches and was not amazed by Starface. While they did help get rid of the acne, they were not as strong as other brands, and the patches are very small and only offered in one size. While I love the idea of putting cute stars on my face the shape sometimes made it hard to reach the entire pimple with just one patch. Overall I love the concept of a product that helps people to not be ashamed of their acne but I find that there are many other brands that are a lot stronger and are a lot cheaper.

  • The Starface Micro-Cloud pimple patches are amazing! They are great for deep pimples as they have micro darts that target these spots really well. They also have salicylic acid which helps to heal it a lot quicker and I notice it heals fairly quickly after using it! I also think that they’re so cute since they’re little clouds and you can just put them on your pimples and go out with them! While they are $17.99 I think they are definitely worth the price for its quality!

  • I wanted to try these because of the cute factor and fortunately ~or unfortunately~ I recently got the opportunity. I do like that they are not see through like some of the other acne patch brands, but I definitely have so far not found them to stack up to the competition in this sector! Will definitely keep using the package that I got but would hesitate to purchase more.

  • I was gifted these pimple patches by a friend and while they are definitely cute I don't think they do much other than cover the pimple.

  • Starface stickers are fine! They *kind of* do the job - and they are super cute - but there are brands that do a much better job of clearing up acne.

  • I feel like they don’t do anything for my acne. Other patches like hero were way more effective, these are simply for aesthetics.
