Starface earns mixed reviews: the brand delights with joyful packaging, collectible collabs, and the handy mirror compact, but its star-shaped hydrocolloid patches are less effective than competitors for early-stage or cystic acne and often don’t adhere well overnight. Reviews say the standard yellow Hydro-Stars can flatten small, surface pimples and curb picking—while Micro-Cloud and some blue salicylic-acid stars work better—but many find minimal extraction, thin/too-small patches, curling corners, and tricky peeling that prioritizes form over function.
