Starface wins praise in reviews for playful branding, a handy refillable compact, and making acne feel celebratory, yet its classic Hydro-Stars often underperform versus competitors at extracting “gunk,” reducing inflammation, or staying put—especially overnight. While some users see quick results (notably with Micro-Cloud or blue salicylic acid stars), many cite weak adhesion, small one-size patches, and limited efficacy on early or cystic blemishes, making the brand better for pick-prevention and daytime cover than potent treatment.

Funky design and do work decently but I tend to gravitate more towards their competitors as they work a little better for me.
The cutest way to boost your skin’s confidence! My only downside is pricing, but products have definitely helped for me personally.
I love Starface's mission BUT I just don't feel like they help in the same way other hydrocolloid bandages do. I've had poor luck using them, so they sit in my bathroom drawer. At least they're cute?!

Ran out of my normal pimple patches and picked these up at target — they seem to always be sold out so I was super excited to try these! Unfortunately, they really don't work as well as almost every other brand I've tried. Although they're definitely super cute, they didn't seem to make a difference in my breakout(s) at all. They also didn't stick as well which was a little bit of a bummer. Overall super cute and fun product (love the mission + company as a whole) but the products are just okay!
SUPER cute but they don't do anything. No comparison to Hero cosmetics. I am reusing the box with other brands now.

The patches themselves.
Cute branding and packaging, website is easy to navigate, but the product doesn't really work.
In a fan of the reusable pimple patch holder + patches. They don’t pull as much as some patches do, but I love the case and fun designs. I also enjoy the chapstick. Very fun and bright branding, catch’s your eye on the shelf.
I wanted to love these, but have mixed feelings. I do LOVE the little box with a mirror. The container is the best part. I think it's a cute and smart way to store the patches, keep them clean, and the mirror for applying wherever. They also do very cute collabs. The box is worth purchasing. The patches themselves however, are not the best. Personally, I don't really desire to have a big colorful patch on my face, but if you're into that, then cute. I just don't think these work very well compared to other patches in a similar price range. I've tried the classic yellow and black stars and they did not suck the gunk out of my skin well. I did not find them affective at improving blemishes, which is the point. I saw they just came out with a clear patch, so fingers crossed maybe those work better.
I saw these pimple stickers on an ad, and got sucked into buying them because they’re so cute! But other than that, I don’t find that they actually do anything. I leave these on overnight and never see a difference in the morning. I only buy them because they’re cute to walk out of the house with when I have a huge pimple that I can’t even cover up with makeup.
Starface fails to live up to the hype. The touted skincare benefits are overshadowed by an impractical application method and subpar results. The star-shaped pimple patches not only draw unnecessary attention but also lack effectiveness in tackling breakouts. The overall experience feels more like a gimmick than a serious skincare solution. A regrettable purchase that leaves much to be desired.

The brand definitely stands out. The stars are held within this heavy feeling yellow box that opens up to a mirror. I'd say the product itself doesn't work as well as other brands but if you want to temporarily block a pimple whilst going out, as a fashion statement, this is the right product for you.
These were ok. I’ve tried a lot of pimple patches, but I felt these were not as effective or sticky as other brands. They’re cute though.

I love Starface. These little patches are so cute and so effective. I rarely get pimples, but when I do, they’re typically little hormonal ones along my jaw line. These patches help clear up any blemishes overnight!!
Is this a revolutionary acne cure? No. Is it even a good hydrocolloid bandage? TBD. But I will continue to buy these because it feels infinitely more polite to have people stare at a rly cute star than my hormonal acne flareups. Love!

Points for cuteness, but found the pimple patches to be entirely ineffective. No changes even after overnight use.

I wanted to love these pimple patches because they are so cute but I didn't find that they did anything to help. I mostly wear them now when I am trying to hide my pimple and just hope it ends up doing something to help it go away.

cute but useless. these patches are a waste of money tbh. while i like using them to cover up pimples/blemishes during the day, the patches themselves are pretty bad. while wearing them through the day you’ll find them constantly falling off or moving around your face. wouldn’t recommend.
I love the facewash for acne prone skin. Also their nightwater (toner) packs a real punch. They don't skimp on the use of multiple acids for a great exfoliating. I have oily skin and even after a year on accutance, i break out occasionally. i always turn to starface during those times. i'm not a fan of their acne patches though.
I want to love these SO much. Mainly, I love a brand that embraces acne with gold stars.. However, realistically these don't do much... The sticker being in a star shape as well is actually pretty frustrating trying to peel off the clear backing. Half the time I smush in a corner and basically damage the sticker before I even apply it to my face. :/
Theyre cute for looks but they are a bit more expensive than some of the other brands. I do have the case and I thought it was cute but now it just sits empty.
