  • Convenient co2 recycling
  • Medicinal taste of mixers
  • Co2 level hard to determine

SodaStream is generally well-received for its customizable carbonation levels and easy-to-use design. However, taste of the mixers and difficulty in knowing when the CO2 is running low are some of the drawbacks.

  • The system proved user-friendly; however, the flavor failed to meet expectations compared to soda, and the necessary adjustments for optimal carbonation rendered its use inconvenient. Despite purchasing both the system and various drink flavors, I eventually opted to give it away.

  • We purchased the Sodastream over the holidays to add to our beverage station. We use it for mixed drinks, mocktails, and Italian soda. It was a great addition to our beverage station as you never have to worry about "flat soda" or running out of mixers.

  • I was once a SodaStream sales assistant and was creating tasters for customers daily. Works a dream - quick and easy to use. I love that you can control the intensity of the bubbles as well. I'm not a huge fan of using synthetic ingredients so the mixers are a miss for me. If I had to add taste to my sparkling water, I'd do so with berries and more 'natural' flavourings. Their CO2 cylinder recycling process is a great initiative.

  • Great machines, and the new ones seem to be stepping up their design! I had a sodastream machine for a while, but I ended up giving it to my brother as I do not drink enough sparkling water. I love that you can customize your levels of carbonation.

  • Its alright, but i feel like too much work. would love a system with a water tank

  • I love mine but I wish it was easier to know if your bottle is running low!

  • I wish it were easier to get non-plastic bottles! Love the goal of this product, even if the reality for me is that it doesn't get used as much as it should. The CO2 exchange is very convenient - I was worried it wouldn't be easily accessible, but it is. To note: the water flavor is reliant on the quality of the water you use. (might be obvious, but let's say your tap water doesn't taste good, your sparkling won't be any better)

  • Really good for making anything from basic fizzy water to DIY soft drinks or other flavoured drinks with the widely available syrups. I often make my own Pepsi Max which was so much more cost effective than buying bottles, and the taste was not too much different, plus I could adjust the amount of fizz I wanted. I also just fizz water and add lemon or zero sugar water flavouring and it's a simple way to make a bottle of drink. My gas(?) bottle has lasted ages.

  • SodaStream is a great way to create sparking water or soda with low sugar. And it’s easy to use.

  • The SodaStream itself is great. However, I don't exactly use it like you're supposed to. Their flavors are not that great. They taste about the same as the generic versions. However, if you're careful then you can carbonate things other than water. I carbonate lemonade, and it makes it 10 times better. They don't recommend this, but you just have to be careful so it doesn't overflow.

  • The Sodastream is super quick and easy to use. It’s pretty cool that you can control the intensity of the bubbles with each bottle you make. My husband isn’t a fan of using the mixers as they have a medicinal taste to them so he just drinks it natural or mixes it with juice. You get a lot of CO2 out of one canister and they have a pretty neat recycle program. If you are into carbonated beverages this is a great addition to your kitchen.

  • I tried the SodaStream with our good friends, and I was very impressed! Tasted great, had lots of flavours, and was easy to use. As someone who drinks a lot of carbonated water beverages, I would definitely like to have one in my own home!

  • Really like the product and it's saved me a lot of money and recycling since I no longer buy seltzer! I do wish there were some better flavorings out there though. Nothing I've had quite replaces the flavors of some canned seltzer. Also wish exchanges were more consistent since I've gone to stores that were out of new CO2 canisters for weeks.

  • Horrible. Cannot get co2 and cannot afford to buy your new product. Very disappointing. Have three empty canisters but cannot buy product.

  • This product is amazing. I love that it is so user friendly and there are different sized bottles so you can make different quantities.

  • I bought a friend Sodastream for his birthday and he loved it. Its so easy and convenient to make your own sparkling water. The flavors are fun and saves a ton of money if you are buying & drinking sparkling water often!

  • I love my soda stream. Crazy to admit but I used to drink 4/6 cans a sparkling water a day. yickss that's a lot of waste. Soda stream changed the game from me, it continues to save me a ton of money and has helped me cut back on my waste quite a bit. I also love how creative you can get with mix ins. It makes mocktails really fun.

  • A good idea when you want to save some bucks. We only drink water from the tap (in Germany it is very highly regulated and tastes good). But sometimes you need a little sparkle and that's where soda stream offers various choices. I only find it a bit high priced but the price has come down a bit since more and more competitors have entered the market.

  • Absolutely love how simple and convenient it is to make sparkling water for cocktails, sodas, and everything in between! Even just drinking it unflavored is more enjoyable than plain water for me. The cannisters lasts for ages, and I'm able to exchange them for new ones at my local Target!
