  • Never thought to much about Instagram famous probiotics but the targeted ads got to me long enough that I caved in and tried it. Have taken it daily for two months straight and now I cannot go a day without it—other probiotics I’ve tried didn’t seem to do much for me (except for giving me nausea) and gave up on the idea of keeping a probiotic in my routine but I could feel the difference with Seed within the day. Highly recommend!

  • So far I really like it. Not only is their packaging sleek, I love how they save on unnecessary materials by sending refills in a sealed bag than another bottle. I feel like my digestion has improved over the last few weeks - just make sure to stay consistent!

  • I had scoured Thingtesting for reviews on Seed before finally deciding to give it a try. I found it hard to believe this probiotic could be that much different than my generic CVS brand probiotic. Let me tell you though, it does work. I feel like I am digesting food much better and experience less bloating. I will say I think to notice results you need to take the recommended 2 pills a day. I also started taking Magnesium around the same time, so it could be the combo that's working so well for me. I really wish Seed was a little cheaper. A little over $50 / month is A LOT.

  • Seed's branding is amazing. They do a great job evoking confidence and luxury as well as conveying the science behind the product. It took a while for me to get used to taking two every morning, because they are large capsules and you have to take it on an empty stomach.

  • Seed has helped me with gi issues since having covid. Love that they started doing subscriptions beyond month to month.

  • I used seed for probably a year and then stopped because I felt like I couldn't justify the price and couldn't tell if it was actually doing anything. With wellness products sometimes I feel like you don't notice how good they are making you feel until you stop, but I haven't started using seed again although I've considered it. It did make me nauseous in the beginning which is apparently what is supposed to happen as your body gets used to it so maybe it did do something. Ultimately, not worth the money for me personally.

  • I love the science that goes into this but I haven't noticed any benefits and have taken it for months. Kind of expensive.

  • I Liked seed and i think it's great. If i had it in my budget I would continue taking them but unfortunately it is just a little pricey.

  • This brand has saved me from terrible gut health bacteria. Two a day keep the tummy demons away and it for sure helps. I live for these pills and the presentation of these cute little glass vials is the best with a monthly subscription that comes in a very environmentally conscious way. I would suggest if you having tummy issues and you are not sure what works. THIS, this works!

  • Was super excited to try Seed, but totally regret doing so as it really didn't suit my body and had lasting negative effects despite me only using it for roughly 1 week. About a week in, I experienced severe stomach pain and bloating for about 24 hours - I can't remember the last time I was that uncomfortable. It also caused irregularities in my menstrual cycle and worsened my cramps. Everyone's body will react differently, but unfortunately this product definitely wasn't worth it for me, and I have read many reviews from others who had similarly negative experiences.

  • I had tested this for 3 months and noticed no difference in my overall health. My digestive health did not improve at all.

  • I didn't notice a sizable difference - I took this for about 3 years on and off and can't say there was a difference before, during or after. Upon starting, i did notice some stomach upset as my body got used to it.

  • I’ve been taking Seed consistently for ~1.5 years, and have noticed that it has made a marked difference in my digestion! Before, my bowel movements were not super regular, but I find that if I follow the advised instructions (what I do is normally take 2 capsules on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning), I am able to go first thing in the morning (even at around the same time everyday!). My skin has also somewhat improved, though I’ve also been putting in place other measures to improve it so it is hard to say how much that is attributed to Seed. Although Seed is rather expensive ($55~ per month), I did look around and see that other similar brands (Ritual, etc) were charging around the same price (or even more) for their prebiotic + probiotic. They did also recently release a subscription offering where you can get the product delivered in quarterly or bi-annual cycles (so get it delivered every 3 months or 6 months), and with that, the price goes down a little bit! I am definitely very routine oriented and invested in wellness, so for me, this is something that is worth my money and I will continue to take for the foreseeable future.

  • Seed is a science-led company bringing targeted probiotics to the microbiome space. I took the supplement for 30 days and started to notice an improvement in my gut health towards the end, which impressed me, because most supplements I have tried do not seem to actually do anything for me.

Received a free product from Seed
  • Seed seems to be very science based, so I was very excited to give them a try. Especially since their DS-01® Daily Synbiotic is supposed to support gastrointestinal health (aka bloating and 💩). After taking Seed every day for over a month, I noticed absolutely no difference (good or bad) so decided it wasn’t worth the money. While the product didn’t work for me, I will say that Seed’s website, packaging and socials are super branded and cohesive. They definitely have their own unique, informative brand voice too.

  • Great branding and packaging. Not sure i noticed much of a difference from other pro/pre biotics. Wish there was a month-to-month option that didn't involve me having to purchase an entire jar every time and could purchase the refills without a subscription

    pretty pricy

  • Seed works great! in my opinion, it works better than Align or any other probiotic pills I've used before. I love their packaging and the brand experience too. I hate having otc ugly pill cases on the counter but I'd put seed's out in the open because it's so nice looking.

It's more on the expensive side to take 2 pills a day. I actually think 1 pill a day is working fine for me so I'm doing that instead so that it doesn't feel way too overboard for long-term use.

  • I've been using Seed products for 5+ months now. I subscribed to Seed after looking for high quality probiotics that would solve my gut issues. After placing an order, the product took around 3 weeks to arrive (I'm based in Spain), which was a pain. However, I love that the packaging is ecofriendly and how they send refills in bags that create very minimal waste, as opposed to sending a new plastic jar every time. I can't say that the products have solved my gut issues 100% - but I don't expect any product to do that. I do believe it has helped with digestion and plan on taking it for a bit longer. Besides this, the only other comment is customer support. They made some small mistakes in my orders, but every time I reached out and pointed this out, the customer care team very promptly replied and found a solution to the issue. I really appreciated that given that it's an international order and also given its price range.

Shipping has been a bit frustrating. Their shipping partner, Passport, doesn't have a functioning platform so I never receive email notifications on my orders. Plus, their customer care seems to not exist, as my inquiries never get replied. So every time I order from Seed I have a big uncertainty about when it's going to arrive.

  • I've been using Seed on and off since they launched - and only off because I get distracted by new things to try (ie. Athletic Greens). They are the best probiotic I have used, and at this point, I'm ready to ignore new brands and products (unless Seed expands, of course). I find I am more regular when using this product compared to other probiotics, which makes my body happy. I'm thrilled they introduced a 90 day supply option, which helps to cut down on emissions and shipping waste.

  • I didn’t feel any different taking seed. I liked the idea of what it is and how it’s helping my gut health but didn’t notice any changes except I started breaking out… which was not fun. I like the look of the product, how easy it is to order and how the refills get shipped to you on time. The travel bottle is ideal and always came in handy.

Not sure… I would love to keep taking it but my skin did not love it.
