  • Love the branding and what the product was supposed to do but I tried it for two months and I literally could not tell the difference of whether I was actually taking them. Not quite sure of the affects.

  • Seed is an incredible brand that I’m so glad I discovered! Their probiotics have made such a positive difference in my gut health. I love that they focus on science-backed formulas and high-quality ingredients, and the capsules are so easy to take. It’s reassuring to know I’m supporting my digestive system with a brand that prioritizes transparency and sustainability. Seed has truly become a staple in my daily wellness routine, and I feel so much better for it!

  • I really loved the quality of Seed’s gut health probiotic and prebiotic. While I did see positive results—such as more consistent poops—I had to stop using it because the capsules were just too big for me to comfortably swallow. I constantly felt like the capsule was stuck in the back of my throat, and it was uncomfortable for a while after taking it. Honestly, it happened most of the time I took it, and that discomfort made me stop using it. I wish Seed would offer a smaller capsule or even a powder version for adults, like the one they have for kids. If they had these options, I would’ve definitely continued taking it. That said, I still think the product works well for gut health, and I really appreciated the results I saw while using it.

  • I take the daily synbiotic and it's been a very noticeable positive shift from the last probiotic I was taking. Wish it was one capsule instead of two, but it's worth it for me. This regulates my digestion like nothing else, if you get my drift. Definitely a subscription I'm keeping. EDIT Jan 2026: I also now take the AM Energy supplement and tried the Daily Multivitamin but cancelled - I get incredibly nauseous if I don't eat a full breakfast before taking the daily, and sometimes even with food it doesn't sit well.

  • Love love love. Recommended by my friend who is a pHD researcher studying gut microbiomes, I've been using Seed for the past 11 months. I do feel the difference in my gut health and feel better overall. Separately, their packaging is really nice :D

  • I recommend it everyone. It has completely normalized my digestion and helped many others I know. Gentle and effective.

  • I used Seed for around 3 months and ultimately, found that for my body, it wasn't the most effective at improving digestive health. Additionally, I found alternatives that were more budget friendly. I loved the branding and packaging! Really beautiful.

  • Unfortunately this did nothing for me. I really wanted it to work but I didn't notice any change! Loved the packaging and website experience though.

  • I really wanted to love this product and I see the brand all over Instagram. I gave it a good try for about three or four months and really didn’t see any results. It is a cool concept and I do like the packaging and subscription portion but I didn’t really find the product to useful

  • Packaging is gorgeous! Love the glass bottles. I feel like these probiotics actually made a difference in my digestive health! Worth the money!

  • It’s easy to fall in love with the branding of Seed. The packaging alone is sustainable, compostable, beautiful, and simple. The marketing really draws you in with its educational component, leaving you with very little to question about the product and it’s effectiveness. I started out taking one pill in the morning on an empty stomach and over time built to two each morning. I have no discomfort and it definitely helps my regularity and feel good and refreshed. My only concern is that after 6 months of using the product, my micronutrient and gut health counts did not improve. They remained exactly the same. So I’ll do some testing again after a few months of using it and hopefully it has made a difference in my gut health.

  • Other than being locked into a sub I didnt realize until... Anyway, the product is good overall. I cannot say it is changing my life in a meaningful way but Im sticking with it for now. When I had to skip a month it was easy to do. Will I be using in 6 months??? prob not...

  • So far so good. I love the sustainability with the glass containers and the refills being sent in pouches. I think that's pretty rad. I'm starting month two and am still getting acclimated to the routine. I take them in the morning on an empty stomach. I take Mounjaro and I have some gnarly side effects. I'm hoping that Seed will help provide extra healthy bacteria that can help with those side effects. Ironically, Seed does warn that you can experience some side effects at first as your body gets used to taking the symbiotic. I am going to give this a few months in order for me to feel the full effects. Right now, I'm happy with taking Seed, the price, the sustainability, etc. If you're looking to try something like this, look for a promo code for your first purchase. Just a suggestion. *Edit - I'm going into month three. I haven't found the balance yet between Seed and my prescription meds yet. I'm still having issues but I know that it can take a few months to really start having a positive effect on your gut biome so I'm just going with flow. Will try to update next month. 09/23* Update - 11/09/23, I stopped taking Seed two days ago as an experiment. I never saw anything or felt anything that lead me to feel like I was getting benefits by taking it. I'm very curious to see what will happen now that I've stopped taking them. I may start again, so consider this an experiment. I realized that after taking my shot, I have a carb intolerance for about three days. The worst side effect is bloating like I'm Violet Beauregard from Willy Wonka. Seed did nothing to mitigate any of those symptoms. Figuring out that complex carbs were going to be the death of me was much more helpful. I really was hoping that the hype behind Seed would be backed my proof. Since there were no apparent benefits, I'm going to take them out of my routine to see what the results will be. I've never been so interested in a supplement before in my life. Is this really what adulting looks and feels like? For now, I'm changing my review from five bubbles to three bubbles because with a lack of anything obvious, I choose not to keep my bubble rating at a five.

  • I've been taking Seed for a year now - I'm on that 90-day plan! I really think it has helped my health - less bloating, less overall illness, less upset tummy after eating, and some good regularity - if you know what I mean! I appreciate the quality of the product and the brand's sustainability efforts.

  • The thing with probiotics is that you need to keep taking them over and over to see change. They work! In this case you need a subscription and it’s expensive.

They always run out and not a bang for your buck.

  • I've been taking Seed for over a year now and I love it! It definitely keeps me regular and keeps my gut happy. I like to take it first thing in the morning before food; and the travel bottle is perfect for when I'm on the go. The only flaw is price, I think it's on the borderline of being worth the money — as I've taken lower-cost probiotics and they've seemed to work the exact same. I'll stick with Seed since I enjoy the science of it as well as the convenience of the auto-shipment!

  • Not sure that it does anything, but love the company’s general mission and support for sustainability + research/education on environmental issues.

  • The best pre/probiotics for bloating. They make me feel great but they’re a bit expensive.

$50 a month is a lot but I would say it’s worth it

  • I love taking Seed! I've been taking for over a year now and it has been the most seamless process. I've noticed a difference in my body (you may have to take for many months to start to see improvement). Also love how sustainable the subscription packaging is--it is super fun dissolving the foam in water and love that the rest of the packaging is compostable.

Sometimes they get delivered too soon and I end up with way too many capsules at a time, but it is super easy to adjust the delivery date in your account.
