Great customized line that is more affordable than most skincare regimens. I love that the products are made with sustainable and clean ingredients and are tailored to your skincare needs. I look forward to trying the haircare line as well.

Smells good. Didn’t notice a difference in my hair

I have been using prose for years off and on. There’s a reason I keep going back. I love that the products are tailored to your hair type and where you live (water quality, pollution, humidity, etc). Prefer the shampoo and conditioner. The hair mask is nice but it’s a pre-shampoo mask. I’m def more of a mask after shampoo and leave in a few minutes kinda gal.

Literally my favorite shampoo and conditioner, the personalized formula works unlike anything else I've tried. Unfortunately, their subscription model is not good. It's not flexible enough to pause or order at different times, which is especially tricky with hair products, which for me, don't run out at a regular cadence or simultaneously.

It is a little expensive, but I have had a good experience.

I didn’t notice any improvement in my hair after using their “customized” shampoo and conditioner for a couple months. I finished both bottles because..well I paid for them. The scent range was truly lacking and what I ended up settling on smelled like the bottom of an old lady’s purse 🤮

Definitely felt like my hair became more greasy. With dry and curly hair, it didn’t seem to make a difference. And the packaging needs work… I reached out to customer service email as the replied on here and never heard from them.

While better than other customizable haircare brands I've tried, I'm also still not overly impressed. My hair feels drier and frizzier when I use this system of products.

The concept is cool and doing the quiz and getting your own customized products is so fun. I don't know if I really saw a drastic change in my hair after using it though.

I've always been a bit of a haircare skeptic; like, I used to use Dr. Bronner's soap in my hair about once a month and that was it. I had tried Aesop and other fancy stuff here and there and didn't really feel like it made a difference. Then I tried Prose. It was remarkable how much nicer it made my hair feel. Not just the look and feel, but my scalp felt healthier and less itchy. The pre-shampoo mask is maybe my favorite part, it's truly a game-changer. And call me basic, but having my name on the bottle is a lot of fun.

The curly hair formula is simply awful. I disliked the Prose set I got so badly I passed it around my office and we couldn't find a single person for whom the formula worked! I've heard that Function of Beauty is better.

The idea behind customized hair care is quite seductive, and I liked the idea that Prose also includes your location (the weather, humidity, and water quality in your area) into their formulas but the hair products were expensive and unremarkable. The shampoo and conditioner left my hair either extra frizzy or weighed down. Also their website really pushes the hair mask, basically saying that the mask is required for real results and that if you don't buy the mask any bad results are because you aren't doing the full program. I don't know almost anyone who has the time to do a 30 minute hair mask before every shower, or even several times a week. And if I have to pay an extra $40 for a hair mask to see the results of your shampoo and conditioner then the shampoo and conditioner must not be that great. Best thing I can say is that it was easy to unsubscribe.

I love this service, and I would certainly recommend to anyone with any kind of hair. It can be a bit expensive, but it has made my hair and scalp so much happier, healthier, and softer than it's ever been.

I ordered a conditioner made for my hair that would help with shine, hydration and anti-frizz. I have noticed a big difference in my hair after using it. I have seen all of these benefits. I love the clean ingredients.

I like the idea that you can customize your own skincare based on your skin concerns and also choose the scent you would like. However, I did not like the skincare. I think it was too strong for sensitive skin.

This skincare/ hair care brand is absolutely amazing. I love how they are making personalized products tailored perfectly to me and the environment I live in and my age and the things that I am focused on the bottles are super cute and come with your name on them.

Prose offers a personalized haircare experience with products tailored to your needs. While some see improvements in texture and shine, others don’t notice a huge difference. The price is on the higher side, but it’s worth trying if you’re into customized routines.
