I started using the Prose formula about two months ago. It was the start of spring, when the frizz of my hair usually begins. At first, I saw that my hair was poofy but soft, with still being brittle at the ends.  I contacted the prose team and reported my results. The next shipment I received was designed for me, with changes made for what I reported.  I use the hair mask with every wash, as I find that my hair needs the added moisture. I only wash my hair once or twice a week now because in between washes, my hair stays silky and smooth, without being greasy or oily. The shampoo lightly lathers and the conditioner offers just the right amount of softness.  My hair is overall better and way less frizzy now. I recently went to visit Joshua Tree and took my products with me. My hair stayed beautiful, even in the dry and dusty desert heat. And, the smell of the products is divine. I love the subtle and calming lavender scent that is imbibed when using the products. I would recommend Prose to anyone that wants silky and luxurious locks of hair. A giant thank you to the Prose team for creating an innovative and convenient way to get great hair care. 

I am over the moon with the products I ordered with Prose. After taking the test to learn what hair care treatment was best for my hair, my results recommended their Pre-Shampoo Scalp Mask, the Color Extend Shampoo, and the Curl Define Conditioner. To give a little background on my hair, I had just bleached my entire hair and colored it a bold blue color. I've had my hair color treated/bleached for almost a year now, yearning for my natural waves to come back and for the texture of my hair to go back to normal. Once I used the mask, I rinsed it out, shampooed and conditioned my hair. Once it was air-dried, my hair was renewed! My hair is back baby!!!, even after all I put it through. I would 100% recommend these products to anyone! I got exactly what I needed and my expectations were met and exceeded! My hair was so dry, brittle, flat, lifeless. Now it is healthy, shiny, moisturized, and with so much volume. Wish I had tried this sooner <3 #ProsePraise

Waste of money. Didn’t do anything different than any other shampoo and conditioner. 

I love how the quiz customizes what my skin actually needs. When I received the cleanser serum and moisturizer it was packaged so cutely. Mine smells like lavender and is relaxing especially at night before bed. I woke up glowing. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and notice the texture getting better

I have had the BEST experience with Prose. I have 2A-2B low density hair. I got the shampoo, conditioner, curl cream and gel. I absolutely love all products except the gel. I emailed prose and let them know that the gel was not working for me and they immediately refunded me which means the customer service is amazing. 

Shampoo: leaves my hair perfectly clean without being too stripped. I use one and a half pumps on my first wash and then one on my second wash. I have always double cleansed because that’s what I learned in hair school. Honestly with this product I don’t even feel like I need to double cleanse because I feel nice and clean the first wash. 

Conditioner: OMGGG I’m obsessed with this conditioner. It gives me great slip without weighing me down. This is the first conditioner I have EVER used that literally gives me curls while sitting in. My hair sucks it up and springs right up. I use about 3 pumps and my hair is to my bra strap. I put the conditioner in my hair and then run some water on it. I have a tangle teezer brush in my shower that I use to distribute the conditioner and I let it sit while I do everything else in the shower about 3-5 minutes. 

Curl cream: this is 100% the star of the show. I use one pump in the shower on soaking wet hair and  scrunch it up. My hair has NO frizz at all I have never had a product that leaves me completely frizz free and defined. I come out of the shower and micro plop my hair and let it air dry. My hair is defined and beautiful every single time it hasn’t failed me yet. I also added one pump to my spray bottle and refresh it with just that and it becomes more voluminous as the days go on. My second day hair is my absolute favorite. Also the smell I got was amazing sometimes I literally just put a tiny bit of the cream on my hair just to smell it again. That’s another thing I love about this product you can apply it to dry hair. I have never had a cream that doesn’t weigh me down when I apply it to dry hair. It just smoothes any flyaways and leaves me smelling amazing. 

Gel: this is the product I had such a hard time with. I tried it on soaking wet hair, damp and diluted it and applied on dry hair. It dried me out so much and left me extremely frizzy. I’m glad I tried the cream without the gel because if not I would’ve thought the products didn’t work for me. I’m not sure why my hair hated this product so much but prose made it right by refunding me on it. 

I will continue to order prose as long as my hair looks this good!! 

Excellent product and worth buying again. I was satisfied with the quality, may even be better than what I normally purchase. I would definitely buy this again and will be trying the varieties offered.

I have been chemically treating my hair for a little over 2 years now and I noticed a ton of thinning and I was loosing volume fast. Supplements and those red light devices are super expensive so I started looking for alternatives and found Prose! 

I was definitely skeptical at first (since we both know it's not exactly inexpensive) but the pre-shampoo mask+ shampoo combo gives an incredible lather!! It also doesn't feel like it's striping my hair barren of any important moisture. After using the conditioner I noticed a huge difference in my curls (the bleach affected my curl pattern and I'm starting to see ringlets again!!) And since my hair isn't past shoulder length I use less product and it lasts much longer. (I've attached pictures of my hair currently after using prose for more than 3-4 months including the growth I've seen on my hair line that previously was much thinner)

Let's not forget to mention the customer service is absolutely amazing, ⭐Claire⭐ from the Prose Pros Team was incredibly helpful and understanding of my situation and I got a reply back within a day which was awesome, I can't thank her enough for all the help!

Highly recommend this brand, and if you're curious about the skin care I'd also give it a go, I use my custom serum in the day before moisturizer and at night before my retinol 🩷 #ProsePraise

I was lucky enough to get a chance to try some of the products and now I get them monthly. I never thought I would be one to have just a few products for my skin routine but they make the sets just for you so you!

Love these products love how they smell and how they feel you must try. It’s like luxury and a bottle.

My scalp was wrecked; tons of flakes, build up, itching, redness. My friend had said good things about Prose in the past, so I gave it a try. Was nice to take a comprehensive quiz and get personalized ingredients tailored for my issues. I think after about 2 weeks of using the shampoo, my scalp was healthy again. I’ve been ordering it ever since. I also really like the Paradiso scent; musky floral.

I tried this brand since everything is made and  tailored to your specific hair. I found it to be drying and it took the life out of my voluminous hair. Ended up just giving it away.

I LOVE prose. I have a slightly unusual hair type (super fine, wavy, but a lot of hair), so sometimes it's hard to find products that work. Prose WORKS. After three washes, my hair has never been so shiny, bouncy, and soft. My hair is so soft, my claw clips keep falling out. If you've had a hard time finding products that work for you, I'd definitely recommend giving prose a try.

Great customized line that is more affordable than most skincare regimens. I love that the products are made with sustainable and clean ingredients and are tailored to your skincare needs. I look forward to trying the haircare line as well.

Prose products are quite nice! I'm not super particular with hair or skincare products so I don't have very discerning taste, but I had a positive experience.

My daughter customized her own Prose shampoo and conditioner and she absolutely loves this brand. It makes her hair smell great and look great, too!

I honestly found this brand so boring. It made my hair feel nice, but it was just eh for me. If I want to spend all that money, I will find a brand that makes my hair feel amazing. I do not reccommned it. 

I'm disabled and on a very tight budget, so this is a MAJOR splurge for me even to just do the shampoo, but drugstore shampoo alone is NOT an option for my hair. None of them work very well. I have hair that is very hard to manage and hates virtually all products - super thin strands growing in massive quantities on top of a sensitive scalp. Even as a kid, I kinda had to just deal with a virtual rat's nest.

Well, not so much anymore. I do use the custom shampoo, and supplement with a drugstore shampoo for the first wash to make it last longer, and, well, my hair is better than it's ever been, even with using a generic conditioner. My family even compliments how smooth and shiny it now is, and the way the natural waviness is coming out more. The shampoo also smells pretty dang great, honestly. I love the fact that it's also thick enough not to go to waste.

I do also have the leave-in conditioner, which I refill far less often and use for extra moisture and detangling as needed, and that is actually an impressively solid product. To have hair that tangles so easily come out so smooth after being sprayed down a bit on a particularly stubborn hair day is always a rather nice feeling - though, in this case especially, there ARE several alternatives out there that are probably decent enough for most people, at all kinds of price points. That being said, I don't feel it to be a waste, since I only use this one on the days that really need extra help from higher-quality products, and this comes with the convenience of coming in one shipment with the shampoo. Again, I supplement with something off the drugstore shelf for the less needy days. I know I'd be better off still if I had more money to spend in this area, but I hope it's at least clear that you really can easily make it stretch quite a bit and still benefit greatly, if money is an issue and you have hair that needs a bit more help than anything at the drugstore can offer.

I have ordered Prose's shampoo and conditioner a few times. I have medium to thick hair, and I perm and bleach them every year. My hair felt clean and smelled AMAZING after using Prose. Unfortunately I don't think the product was able to restore and nourish my hair. 

Overall a very positive experience, just wasn't for me!
