Peloton wins praise in reviews for motivating, studio-caliber classes, engaging instructors (Cody Rigsby, Alex Toussaint, Robin Arzón), seamless app breadth, and sturdy, smooth hardware that makes at‑home workouts convenient and habit‑forming; however, recurring membership costs are widely criticized, the bike seat comfort and occasional hardware maintenance issues recur, and some find the experience overrated or less effective than live classes. Overall, Peloton is good if you’ll use it consistently and value variety and community, but buyers should weigh subscription demands and ergonomics.

Loved using my moms peloton when I was home visiting. Such great classes and versatile programming. Super positive workout environment in the privacy of your own home.

Please note that this is a review for what they currently are - not what they were. In the past, Peloton was this huge entity that was making headway for their philanthropy AND their products. Specifically, I used to love their coaches and their huge personalities. It made such an isolated activity feel way more immersive. I recently tried again since I was offered a free trial - it has gone soulless. There have been a handful of pleasant coaches, but it is nowhere near what it once was. There's less spice. Peloton's current state reminds me of my Apple Health options now. I just don't think Peloton in its current state is worth the subscription cost anymore. The bike is still fine.
Expensive, but fun to use and good for working out

Tried it at my hotel when on a business trip. Will consider buying as I liked it.
Great variety of classes with engaging instructors. There is def something for everyone on the app. Wish there was more variety in subscription options and that you could stream other media on the screen.
so expensive for nothing great. join a gym for way cheaper!
Legit for all the noise and swirl around this brand and product being in trouble, its great. The music is maybe the part I wish was slightly better as finding a good instructor and playlist combo that works for me is the only meh...
As much hype on Peloton its over priced bike with expensive subscription.
I truly love working out on my Peloton bike. I have managed to be consistent with my workouts because they are always changing and always make me feel better after doing it!

Transformative. We have the bike + and the guide and it has got me to doing regular workouts and a big improvement in fitness generally. Bike had a damaged seat and they quickly replaced it with no issue, customer service was great to deal with.
I do not own one of these, but I've used them several times in hotels, gyms, and apartment buildings. The bike is a little less stable than the ones in typical spinning studios, but in a pinch this is fine. I think this does deliver a basic "at-home in class" experience, and I'm not sure if it can promise much else.

Bikes are great but i am a loyal soul cycler so the instructors are not really my style!
not worth
Gets old after a while but a great cardio work out. Some really motivational instructors. Lots of variety. So expensive.
I use the peloton app at home, with a non peloton. It works great and I really enjoy using it. They are changing this app at the end of this year for the worse. It won't have unlimited cardio and I will no longer be using this product after that.
I was a Peloton skeptic before hopping on one. It has since become so much more than just a stationary bike. As someone who previously would go to the gym and had no idea what to do, I absolutely love having the app in my pocket to give me some of the most intense treadmill hikes or coach me through what to do with the hand weights. I love the flexibility of being able to work out wherever because of the versatility of options on the app. There are a few buggy things in the app I wish would be improved (workout stacks on the app aren't the smoothest transition but I still use it all the time). But I am officially a convert! Would love to try out the tread and the row machine, but I feel awkward testing it in a very stark store In my local very-fancy mall.
I played a bunch of sports as a kid but have always had a hard time working out regularly as an adult. The peloton bike has worked so well for me! I found a few instructors I love, I’ve figured out what types of classes work best for me, and have built a good routine that I’ve been able to actually keep up with.

Seems really extra. Not sure if the price is worth the programming... why not just go to a gym?

Love a Peloton workout. I started using my sister's Peloton bike on occassion and enjoyed it. Decided to download the app for at home workouts and I can use my non-Peloton spin bike for these cycling workouts as well (just won't have the tracked metrics). I love the wide variety of workouts that are available.

Love peloton classes - I love the variety, metrics, and motivation I get while taking these classes. I don't have the actual product, but the app is awesome for at home workouts.
