Paula’s Choice earns strong reviews for efficacy, with many citing the Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant, retinol, and sunscreens as transforming skin texture, clearing pores, and calming breakouts, while gentle enough for sensitive users when introduced gradually. Reviews also flag drawbacks: occasional irritation or rashes, synthetic or unpleasant scents, leaking or hard‑to‑control packaging, a watery texture that can feel sticky, and mixed results or no improvement for some users.

I've tried a couple of their products so far. My favorite is the Niacinamide 20% Treatment. I refer to it as fillers in a bottle lol. There was a period where I neglected my skincare routine and I ended up with obvious smile lines from dehydrated skin. After a few weeks of using this product (3 times a week + at night) those lines are gone! It's amazing, I highly recommend it. I'm also using the C15 Super Booster right now. It's a vitamin C serum. It has been less than a month since I've started using it and I've noticed some slight improvements in my acne scarring. This product has a 3 month expiration date; it is pretty pricy for something with a short shelf-life. My least favorite product that I've tried would be the 10% Azelaic Acid Booster. I have acne-prone, oily skin and I noticed that this product did nothing for me.
Excellent products. My go to brand for many anti aging / facial care products. Have generally found the products to be extremely high quality and at an extremely compelling price point relative to other premium brands, especially when purchased direct from PC. I find their daily anti aging/sun screen products particularly good.

The e-commerce experience, while really good in terms of delivery speed, could be made more premium in terms of the packaging. This is very much on the margins. Excellent brand!
Works for my dry skin, my husbands sensitive and acne prone skin. Love that everything is fragrance free! The body sunscreen works so well and is truly non greasy!

There are so many different skincare options that Paula's Choice has to offer. They also offer automatic subscriptions that make it easy to restock on your skincare supply. There's option for every skin type. I am personally a big fan of Paula's Choice Extra Strength Daily Skin Clearing Treatment with 5% Benzoyl Peroxide. It helps clear my skin quickly since it tends to be more acne prone.

Some prices are on the higher side and you can find similar products at lower costs elsewhere, but a majority of their products are very affordable.
Such a classic skincare brand. I love their azelaic serum and vit c serum. I find it to be the best dupe for Skinceuticals.
The toner is really phenomenal. Staple in skincare routine!
I've tried the 10% Azelaic Acid booster with Salicylic acid and it's great! A small tube but effective and can be used alone.
Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant has quickly become a holy grail in my skincare routine! After hearing so many rave reviews, I decided to give it a try, and the results have been incredible. This product uses salicylic acid (BHA) to gently exfoliate the skin, and it's been a game-changer for reducing clogged pores, blackheads, and uneven skin texture. The lightweight, water-like consistency absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any residue or stickiness. I use it 3-4 times a week after cleansing, and within a few weeks, I noticed a visible reduction in the appearance of my pores and fewer breakouts. My skin feels smoother and more refined, with an overall brighter complexion. What I love most is that it’s gentle enough for sensitive skin. There’s no irritation or redness, which is a huge plus for an exfoliant. It helps with both acne and anti-aging, making it a versatile addition to any routine. The bottle lasts a long time since you don’t need much per use. If you're looking for an effective, non-abrasive exfoliant that delivers real results, Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant is a must-try. It’s affordable, highly effective, and perfect for anyone struggling with clogged pores, breakouts, or dullness!
I really enjoyed the online skincare routine configurator, and the products I then ordered all felt quite lush on my skin and did not cause any irritation or problems. I did however expect more obvious/better results for the price point, hence the 4/5.

One of the few shampoo and conditioners with 100 ratings on skinsafe. Conditioner is great and I use it to make a homemade leave in spray.
I have been using their products for about five years. They usually have very good deals and coupons as well as cashback perks. I have had issues with items and their costumer service team has been very responsive and helpful.

Though I love buying through the site, I wish these items were available in stores (Ulta/Sephora) so that they would be more accessible instead of having to wait for shipping.
I tried the Paula's Choice BHA and had a fine experience.

The BHA formula didn't do much for me in the few weeks I used it which may be my error.
Straightforward and effective skin care! Highly recommend the BHA liquid exfoliator, the Azelaic Acid Booster, and 1% retinol treatment

It’s not the most accessible brand. It’s difficult to find a Sephora and it’s not carried anywhere else.
I've only tried the 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant but it has completely changed my skin. It's helped immensely with random breakouts AND minimizes my pores. This is a product I will always have on my skincare shelf.
I've been using Paula's Choice for forever and while I will occasionally venture out and try other brands, I always return to Paula. My favorites are the spf primer, cleansing wipes, and unscrub.
I have used a number of different products from Paula's Choice! The value for the product is great and the skincare remedies they offer are broad. I purchased the products to try things that would be less expensive than the big cosmetic counters. These products are straightforward and no fluff, but they did the job of skincare with the results I expected. I noticed that Sephora is carrying some of the products and it was nice to check out different things without ordering blind online.

their products are great, I find that they provide results really quickly. I love their bha treatment for reducing blackheads
Paula's Choice has become a staple in my morning routine. I've been using the BHA liquid exfoliant for almost a year now and have seen a visible difference in my pores and acne. Make sure to follow with spf for the day, and don't mix with retinol at night.
As a previous Sephora beauty associate, I would have no qualms recommending this brand. If you’re looking for a beauty regimen that is ingredient-driven and easily accessible at pretty much any Sephora store near you, this is the brand for you. The reason it’s not a four or five in my book is just because there are other brands I would reach for over this one, but i have to give credit where credit is due: their products do work and accomplish what they promise (more or less).
They just work. I truly trust Paulas Choice products. I've always had success with their products. Their 2% BHA is a holy grail product I will never be without.
