Paula's Choice reviews indicate that the brand is generally good, with many users reporting positive results. A significant strength of Paula's Choice is the effectiveness of their BHA Liquid Exfoliant, which many users praise for clearing skin and reducing blackheads. However, a notable weakness is that some products can be too strong for sensitive skin, leading to irritation. While their products are of high quality, they are considered pricey by some users. Overall, Paula's Choice offers a wide range of effective skincare solutions, though potential buyers should consider their skin type and sensitivity before purchasing.

I genuinely cannot get into the BHA toner to save my life. I think its the texture, but I know it does marvelous things for people. My mom swears by it and beef tallow - she does not wear makeup and she looks stunning. So I feel I need to give it another shot... 3rd times a charm?
The product I have tried from Paula's Choice is the 2% BHA liquid exfoliant. I saw this product working so well for those around me but unfortunately did not have the same experience. It really only seemed to make my breakouts worse, like the purging phase was never ending.

I’ve been using their 2% bha for over ten years. It’s been getting a little expensive, though. This is the only product that does not irritate my skin while keeping the pores clean. Just the price range is a bit high.

I saw someone on TikTok using this tinted SPF so I (naturally) had to try it... it's super lightweight and was exactly what I wanted for a no makeup-makeup base.

GET THE 2% BHA EXFOLIANT. sooo gentle on my skin. it's incorporated into my nighttime routine, i use it every other day and switch with a retinoid since i have sensitive skin but want to work on my skin texture. i'm sure if you wanted to use this everyday, it would be gentle enough to do so but i have been seeing such good results on my current routine.
The price point is a bit higher than drugstore brands, but I feel like I’m paying for quality and reliability, so I’m okay with it. If you’re into skincare that’s effective, fragrance-free, and doesn’t feel like marketing fluff, it’s definitely worth trying.
There are way better skincare brands out there, and Paula of Paula's choice makes some misleading claims that I don't like. That said, the Vitamin C and Azelaic Acid boosters are decent products, particularly the latter as it's not a super commonly found ingredient OTC.

I have only tried their famous BHA exfoliator. However, it never did anything for me except slightly strip my skin. I would love to try other products in the future to see if it's effective.

When it comes to vitamin C products, I always make sure to put sunscreen on before using it. The box comes with a dropper, that is not connected to the bottle, to keep the super boost last longer without going bad. In my opinion, I like it better this way, it gives me time to start using the product instead of wasting it. I mention this because real vitamin C doesn't last a long time and goes bad fast. When opening up the bottle, to get a little sniff, I didn't smell a strong citrus scent, it was more of a vitamin E ingredient or ferulic acid. When applying it to my face, it is a light water-based formula, that soaks into my skin with tingling it.

I have used a number of different products from Paula's Choice! The value for the product is great and the skincare remedies they offer are broad. I purchased the products to try things that would be less expensive than the big cosmetic counters. These products are straightforward and no fluff, but they did the job of skincare with the results I expected. I noticed that Sephora is carrying some of the products and it was nice to check out different things without ordering blind online.

Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant has quickly become a holy grail in my skincare routine! After hearing so many rave reviews, I decided to give it a try, and the results have been incredible. This product uses salicylic acid (BHA) to gently exfoliate the skin, and it's been a game-changer for reducing clogged pores, blackheads, and uneven skin texture. The lightweight, water-like consistency absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any residue or stickiness. I use it 3-4 times a week after cleansing, and within a few weeks, I noticed a visible reduction in the appearance of my pores and fewer breakouts. My skin feels smoother and more refined, with an overall brighter complexion. What I love most is that it’s gentle enough for sensitive skin. There’s no irritation or redness, which is a huge plus for an exfoliant. It helps with both acne and anti-aging, making it a versatile addition to any routine. The bottle lasts a long time since you don’t need much per use. If you're looking for an effective, non-abrasive exfoliant that delivers real results, Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant is a must-try. It’s affordable, highly effective, and perfect for anyone struggling with clogged pores, breakouts, or dullness!

Paula’s Choice 2% BHA body lotion is my holy grail for KP! Keeps my skin nourished and bump-free. It’s pricy, so I reserve it for use in KP problem areas, and use cheaper moisturizers for most of my body. I’ve also gotten great results from their Azelaic Acid ‘booster’ after washing my face. Quickly cuts redness and adds softness. Also tried their Smooth Finish conditioner which was nicely moisturizing, lightweight and a great option for people needing fragrance free products. No buildup and didn’t dry out or weigh down my curly waves. Wasn’t impressed with the 2% BHA liquid exfoliant, despite my love for the lotion formula. They really spam their email list, you can get some great deals but constantly pushing to spend with sales and add on bonuses.
Bought the mini version of the 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant to try out first because I have pretty sensitive skin. I've been using it in my nighttime skincare routine for the past two weeks and really like it.
I’m pretty picky with my skincare and feel like most things I try don’t make a big difference or drastically improve my skin. Which is why I’m impressed with the 2% BHA liquid exfoliant! It actually made a difference and improved my skin texture. I have pretty good skin to begin with and rarely break out, but still had some texture issues on my cheeks and small bumps. After using the exfoliant a few times a week, I truly noticed a softness and smoothness with my skin tone! I’ve cut back on using this and will put it on once a week for maintenance but yeah, I like this a lot!
Can't speak to all of the products but I decided to invest in a high quality Vitamin C serum and I love it! The smell is inoffensive and it's not overly-orange so it blends into my skin well. Packaging is simple and nice and the price isn't too bad compared to other nice Vitamin Cs on the market. Would repurchase!
2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant - I'd say this is definitely a solid BHA. I remember seeing more drastic results when I first purchased it, but now I feel neutral in terms of how it affects my skin. Would recommend it to anyone first starting out with BHAs + exfoliants! Niacinamide 20% Treatment - Didn't feel like this really did anything for me! Hydrating Gel-to-Cream Cleanser - Love this one and it's lasted me a LONG time (refer to photo)! I use it as my default shower face cleanser and a little goes a long way. I never feel like my face is dry or flaky afterward.
I used their cleanser and salicylic acid serum and both worked great on my skin. After using the salicylic serum my skin did dry out a little bit so I would definitely recommend double moisturizer or using a heavy moisturizer. Other than that I didn’t experience any problems! Little pricey but would definitely recommend.
Nice booster! I love it has collagen in it making my face look smooth and tighter. It's also helps plump and firm my skin with 6 peptides, hyaluronic acid and amino acid. While fighting anti-aging lines and wrinkles.
