Is Outdoor Voices good? Reviews reveal a mixed perspective on the brand. While Outdoor Voices offers high-quality and innovative activewear that many users appreciate, the high price point and inconsistent fit across products are significant drawbacks. The brand's customer service and unique designs are often praised, but the decline in quality and closure of physical stores have disappointed some loyal customers. Overall, Outdoor Voices may be worth considering for those who value design and quality, but potential buyers should be mindful of sizing issues and the premium pricing.

  • I own an older version of the exercise dress as well as some leggings and another sports bra. My main complaints with the active dress is the lack of a built-in bra, along with no shorts or pockets, but I still love the dress itself. The leggings would show more sweat than I liked, but still great quality and fit. The sports bra is one of my favorites, especially for any high intensity workouts. It is incredible supportive and also just comfortable without feeling constrictive.

  • 1LOVE the exercise dress. I wear it all weekend for hikes, errands, and general adventures Great tennis/exercise skirt

I don't think the leggings are good for full, sweaty workouts but are good for everyday wear. for the dress - I sized down

  • I love the sports bras I already own from OV but am uninspired to keep shopping there. Initially, I liked the vibe and the styles but now I gravitate towards Girlfriend Collective and Lululemon. The brand is good, the pieces I own hold up, but I don't like the current offerings for the pricetag so probably won't be shopping from there again.

  • I love OV. The store in SF is one that I frequent often. I wear their socks daily, no exaggeration. I have an active dress, and a few pairs of leggings. The leggings are not my favorite, as I feel that they don’t shape around my legs the best since I have bigger thighs, but other than that I love the brand.

  • I went through an Exercise Dress phase, where I basically lived in these OV dresses. They’re easy to dress up or down. In the colder month I’d layer turtlenecks and tights under them or wear shirts over them, depending on the look I was going for. Eventually, I got tired of having to basically strip down to go to the bathroom and I wish these dresses had more support (maybe a built-in bra or pads). But overall, I think Outdoor Voices is a fun brand with great colors and styles. I also love their mission of #DoingThings and the idea that working out doesn’t have to be miserable… as long as you’re doing things and moving your body, that’s enough.

  • As a short, curvy girl, finding pants/short that fit is pretty impossible. However, the OV Rectrek pants are INCREDIBLE! Comfy, stretchy, breathable, cute and everything in between. Love their brand mission, messaging and quality. Home run!

  • I've enjoyed the exercise dress for over a year now. After I tried it, I immediately bought one more in a different color, and then tried out two other OV dresses. The exercise dress is still my favorite. The pockets make it so easy to go for a walk or run, because I have a place to put my keys and airpods. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The only thing that could be better is to have more choice in colors :)

  • This is hands down one of my favorite outdoor clothing companies! I especially love their RecTrek Zip-Off pants, I bought two. One in an XS and a S. I’m usually a S but it was a big baggy on me so I also wanted one that was a little more snug, so I bough the XS as well. If I were to buy another I would get the XS again. I also have purchased their skort, which you can dress up or down. I really love their stuff. Picture shown is S.

  • I totally drank the Outdoor Voices kool-aid. OV is fun, color-blocky, high end and just all around cool. Definitely pricey, I invested in a whole OV set. There’s not a whole lot of stretch in there, the leggings sometimes slip down a little lower than I’d like them to and to be very honest I ALWAYS, without fail, put the leggings on backwards. They have the logo printed on the front and back of the inside waistband. I think the whole look is very chic and very matchy matchy. I would like to try their jackets and some not-so-form fitting pieces.

  • I'm a longtime OV fan, and own 5 Exercise Dresses. I've owned multiple pairs of OV leggings and tops, buuuut honestly I've started to like them a bit less over the last few years. I'm short (5'2) and they don't really offer their clothes in multiple lengths. They do provide tailoring in-store if I remember correctly, but for the dresses in particular they're just too long for me to justify buying anymore!

Would love more sizing options (tall, petite, etc)

  • I have loved outdoor voiced every since i was introduced to them through Fitness Ambassadors in Dallas! They partnered with us and outfitted us for a rock climbing event and they are my favorite brand now. Super high quality, comfortable, squat proof, sweat resistant and just overall 110% recommend.

  • I have bought many items from outdoor voices over the years. I think they have affordable active wear that’s is good quality. I am totally obsessed with their exercise dress, it’s all I wear in the summer. I also love that they offer colors other than pink and teal.

Sometimes their sizes run big and other times they run small. Make sure to check the reviews before buying to ensure you get the right size.

  • 10/10 will always recommend Outdoor Voices!!! I can be found wearing their exercise dress almost every day in the summer!!

Their leggings do run a bit small!!

  • Love the brand. The energy. The colors. The website experience. Oh and the product, wow. The fabrics. The consistent sizing. The tennis aesthetic. The doing things mantra. All of it and then some.

Shipping to Australia selfishly. My shipping rerouting adds another 3-weeks onto my favorite activewear's travels.

  • One of my favorite brands! I am always wearing my tennis dress, its comfortable and flattering all at the same time.

  • recently bought an exercise dress from them (the court dress in white) for a baseball game with friends. it's super cute and the cutouts and hem of the skirt sets it apart from other exercise dresses in a really fun way. truth be told, the price would've prevented me from buying it had the dress not been on sale when i bought it, and i think that the brand, especially after shuttering all of their in-person stores, is solidly past its 15 minutes of fame.

    Bought dress on sale
  • Talk about a brand thats really lost its way... I LOVED OV when they began. It's now a diluted mess with no vision and subpar products at premium pricing. Seriously no reason for this brand to exist any more.

  • High quality athleisure pieces that last for a long time. Great sustainable pieces in styles that are versatile and comfortable.

  • Love their sweatshirts but find the active wear fabrics to shift a lot on the body when i wear them. Fabrics feel high quality but I have had a couple exercise dresses fall apart on me. Customer service was very helpful in replacing it thought!

  • I really like the design options that Outdoor Voices offers. I wish the store in DC was still open though. I really love my crop tee and leggings.
