Moroccan Oil earns largely positive reviews for delivering silky shine, hydration, and frizz control—especially via the Moroccanoil Treatment and weightless masks—while its signature scent delights. • Moroccan Oil's shampoo and conditioner didn't quite work for me. They didn't give my hair the boost I was hoping for, and I didn't see the results I expected. The oil, too, felt a bit too heavy for my hair type, weighing it down more than I'd like. While I appreciate the brand's reputation, these particular products didn't match my hair's needs. They might work better for others, but for me, they didn't hit the mark in terms of achieving the desired results.

  • I recently purchased a curly hair kit for my 7-year-old daughter, and our experience with it has been quite delightful. The shampoo and conditioner included in the kit, while not reaching the pinnacle of perfection, still offer decent performance. However, we discovered that the real magic happens when we incorporate the leave-in product; it significantly enhances the results we achieve. This kit has certainly become an integral part of our hair care routine, and the noticeable improvement brought about by the leave-in product makes it all the more worthwhile.

  • My favorite product of theirs is the hair oil treatment. It smells amazing and leaves my hair feeling SO soft.

  • Amazing line of products that smell delicious

  • Growing up as a teenager I used to use this on my hair all the time. I thought it was great but I went through a period where my hair was greasy right after washing it. I have since found other products that I prefer more for smell, texture, and overall company mission.

  • I received a free product: hair protectant and shampoo/conditoner. The hair protectant was just ok. I liked the shampoo and conditioner but they did feel heavy

  • Love the smell of the Moroccan Oil products. I found they weighed my hair down a bit though. I appreciate that there are 'light' oil formulations in the range now.

  • I've repurchased their shampoo and conditioner many a time. Every year I buy one of the big bottles with the pump, and it does last me an entire year, don't ask me how, it's like a blackhole, there's always product. I love the smell. I recently scanned it w yuka and the EWG app and was sad to see that it has some not great ingredients, so after I'm done with these bottles I probably wont repurchase. If you're okay with that, then it's a must buy. I just think for $50 for a bottle, I'd expect some better ingredients.

  • The Scent is the same as the traditional Moroccan oil they have but is not as strong since it is a spray. The spray is perfect for me because I have bleached hair and need to protect it from the sun. I prefer the spray, rather than the oil also because it doesn’t leave my hair feeling sticky or greasy after. The spray formula is a little bit more lightweight.

  • I used one bottle of the moroccan oil and would like to put the review here. I saw this on a magazine and some of my friends using it to gave it a try. The smell is very relaxing and rich which I liked and applying them to your hair gives it a nice shine and fullness to your hair. I would say it is a richer type of oil that would help your hair (if you have black thick hair) to stay in place. Overall I liked using this but only thing will be the price being a little expensive. Nice to give for gifts and will come back once I'm done using my other hair care products.

  • Unimpressive haircare - the oil sits on top of the hair, instead of seeping in to nourish the hair from inside.

  • i like the moroccan oil mainly because I feel like it hydrates my hair and smells really good. A little goes a longgg way ... so it definitely lasts a while.

  • The best hair oil that I ever used. A little bit expensive but worth itt.

  • I've only just recently started using Moroccanoil in my curly hair routine. I've tried the Intense Curl Cream and the Curl Control Mousse, both as post shower products to hold my curls, and the Moroccan Treatment Original to "scrunch the crunch." Using the mousse instead of a gel, there isn't often much crunch to scrunch, but that also means less of a strong hold on the curls. The Intense Curl Cream does a great job of keeping my hair feeling healthy and moisturized. I originally received the Treatment as a sample item, but I expect to soon be buying the full sized version & trust that a little goes a long way.

  • I've been using Moroccanoil for the past few months and I can definitely notice more of a strength and sheen to my hair that hadn't been there prior. I'd recommend it to my dry and brittle hair friends, for sure!

  • I use the Moroccan oil hair oil and it is amazing for my hair. It leaves my hair, silky, shining and smelling great. I definitely think it’s a game changer.
