Magic Molecule earns largely positive reviews for actually calming inflammation and speeding visible healing on acne, eczema, rashes, bug bites, sunburns, and minor wounds, while feeling lightweight, non‑stinging, and easy to layer. Reviews also flag drawbacks: mixed results on blemishes and cuts for some, a strong spray that isn’t a fine mist, occasional pool‑like scent, drying or irritation for sensitive users, small bottles with evaporation and no refills, and comparisons to similar hypochlorous products that suggest parity rather than uniqueness.

My recent obsession with Force of Nature's hypochlorous spray has now transferred to Magic Molecule! I love that it's soothing for cuts and burns (especially for my kids), and not painful. I have some itchy spots that I'll spray, and it seems to make it feel better. The spray bottle has withstood our usage so far. I also appreciate that they have a stronger formulation in gel form, which also comes from a spray bottle.

I tried Magic Molecule on both my face and body. The formula feels very light on application and I didn’t experience any stinging or irritation, which I appreciate for a multi-use product. I layered my usual moisturizer over it and everything played nicely—no pilling or tacky residue. Early impression: gentle, easy to use, and comfortable on skin. I’ll keep using it to see longer-term results, but so far the experience has been positive.

Similar to the tower 28 sos spray, love this for after the gym on my chest/back or sensitive areas for the times I can’t shower right away. I have the larger size as well as travel size, and it’s so nice to just keep in my bag!

It's good for cuts and stings, not so much for breakouts. I highly recommend this for a first aid kit if you have kids or are prone to cuts/stings, etc. I sprayed this on my little ones' hands after they grabbed stinging nettle. It helped reduce the stinging without causing any additional irritation.

I have only been using this for a short time but I recently used the gel spray on some poison oak rash and it really helped with the itching. Not sure if this was coincidence or truly helped but I definitely appreciated the relief. The skin spray helped heal some body break outs - but also could have been the normal healing process

Honestly, I don’t go anywhere without my Magic Molecule. It lives in my gym bag now. It is the best feeling after a sweaty hot pilates class—just a quick spritz, and I feel instantly refreshed and less gross. 10/10 recommend.

I am obsessed with this product back during Covid when it was all the rage on TikTok. I started buying a cheaper alternative to the tower 28 spray on Amazon and had kind of fallen off of that and forgotten about it until I was at target and it was making a comeback and I saw this new brand magic molecule for the price point. It’s more product and cheaper than anything. That’s on the shelf a.k.a. tower 28 or prequel highly recommend it’s fantastic. I go through it probably too fast but it’s worth it.

I’ve already gone through a couple of the smaller bottles, which are much more cost effective than the tower 28 SOS spray. As someone with acne, and who sometimes picks their skin 😬, it’s nice to have a spray that promotes healing and reduces redness and inflammation from acne or irritated skin. Interested in trying it on my body as well, as I have dry, eczema prone skin. Fast shipping.

I got this product for my mom who started dealing with some odd heat flare ups on her chest from sweating. It was almost like a reaction to her swest that would make her feel itchy and get a rash. I bought her the full size and travel size to spray on her chest and she absolutely loved it. She said it really helped when she felt the itching coming on to calm her skin. I also deal with psoriasis and have had some odd reactions to heat and my own sweat. I had used this a few times i had odd reactions and it definitely helped. I recommend keeping one in your gym bag just to freshen up before you get home and shower if you dont do so at the gym.

Love this concept! I use them for sunburns, skin healing, etc. I had friends over who had mosquito bites and they didn’t believe me that this product would work. We did a little experiment and treated different bits with different products. The next day, they were complete sold on magic molecule! Now I just want them to come out with a larger refill bottle so I stop wasting plastic

We are obsessed with magic molecule. We spray it on our skin constantly! My teen daughter uses it a couple times a day to manage acne. I use it on all my itches. My husband got an intense sunburn and used it on that. Love the small size too for taking in my bag. When I travel and get off a subway I’ll spray it all over my backside when I get home and use it as hand sanitizer. It’s good for everything!

As someone who has incredible oily, acne-prone skin and also suffers from semi-laziness - this product has helped me so much! To be honest on nights when I don’t feel like washing my face, this spray comes in handy! It’s cleared my breakouts and has helped me maintain hygiene when times get tough. 10/10!

I started using this after my optometrist recommended using hypochlorous acid spray on my eyelids AM and PM. She suggested Tower 28, but said there are a ton of brands out there. I found this, and fell in love! It works wonders on bug bites, rashes, sunburns, chapped skin, etc. I recently brought a bottle to my niece to have her try it, and she mentioned using it on their dog also! I have a subscription for 1 large bottle and 2 small bottles. They also recently came out with a gel spray version, which is even better, but the sprayer does not work consistently. Anyway...try it! It's amazing!

Life-changing for my skin. I've seen a huge difference over the past few months. I use after washing my face and also on-the-go. I always keep a mini in my bag for post workouts or even sweaty summer days.

I wanted to like Magic Molecule because the price and size are both great, but I can’t get past the experience of using it. The spray comes out in a heavy, aggressive burst rather than a fine mist, which makes it unpleasant to apply. On top of that, it smells like pool water — not something I enjoy putting on my face. Even though it’s affordable, the overall experience keeps me from wanting to repurchase.

This stuff is indeed a miracle! I have used it on everything from minor redness on my face to surf rash and I’m delighted to see the results every time. It saved me from needing to wear ointment and a bandage on vacation

This is some the best marketing i've seen in a while - fonts, colors, packaging, pop ups... impeccable. The formula also really works!! I watched it instantly calm my skin redness & sensitivities, worked on zits, eczema, dry skin, cuts, itches and more!

Can't wait to see more!

If I could only have one skincare product forever, I really think it would be HOCL spray. I started with another brand, then moved to another brand, and most recently have tried (and stuck with) Magic Molecule. I think MM has the strongest “ratio” and thus results for my skin, and I have been using it religiously for months now. I will not travel without it, either! It’s a do-it-all product that I believe everyone needs to know about 🙂 I hate the number of bottles I recycle each month ** if you really can’t ** let it be exposed to air/refill with a larger volume option, but that is more of a sustainability gripe than anything else.

I got this to help soothe big bite irritation and I’m not sure it’s working. It feels nice when you immediately spray it but otherwise it doesn’t do anything to help with the irritation. I haven’t tried using it for skin issues but it may be better for that.

I was sold on it fixing everything. With kids they're always getting into something. But I didn't notice any difference. When my son has a rash it didn't make a deference either. I really wanted to believe in it but maybe I just didn't get the point?
