Le Creuset earns strong reviews and proves itself excellent: enameled cast iron Dutch ovens, skillets, and bakers deliver even heat, easy stove-to-oven versatility, and decades-long durability with colors that stay vibrant. Reviews also flag inherent drawbacks—significant weight, occasional enamel staining or chipping, bulk for storage, and hand-wash fuss—making the brand ideal for committed cooks but less compelling for light use.

Their cookware is beautiful and functional. I have a large stockpot. It adds nice color to my kitchen and is useful on occasion for soups/stews to feed a crowd. It makes for a nice presentation, too.
Feedback
I wish the materials were sourced more sustainably. As a leader in the field, that would send an important signal to customers and to other companies.

I love their stuff. Timeless, classic design that you can choose with a pop of colour if you so choose. I love the mugs and the oven trays in particular and they last forever. I also bought my sister some of their wine glasses and she loved them too. Their discount stores in outlet malls are good places got pick things up at lower prices than you find elsewhere too and given that their products aren't trendy, there's not really a seasonal reason to buy stuff.

It can be pricy but given that they'll last forever and have a lifetime guarantee, it doesn't seem like a bad deal.
Love this brand! I have several pieces and love them all. It may be too heavy for some people but the quality is greater than the weight or cost! My kids cook with them and will likely have them long after I am gone…
Worth the investment!

Solid and always reliable. These are products you use and keep for life.
The very best in design, quality and function. I have 15+ pieces and have been collecting for years. The newer brands do not compare. Le Creuset is worth every penny. Also, they have excellent customer service and a great warranty program. I broke a Dutch oven and a cake stand and they replaced both! Just the very best.
Very nice designs and works so well
Le Creuset cookware is unmatched. I definitely consider the Dutch oven an investment item that will level up your soups and will be a kitchen staple foreve
Outstanding. My le creuset cerise 24 inch casserole is one of my most prized possessions, throughout the years having cooked eveything from the Gina Ford newborn chicken casserole to Julia Child’s to coq au vin for dinner parties and recently, Alison romans’s viral chickpea stew during lockdown. I purchased this item in 2010 as a new mother when my daughter was born. Sadly last year, the enamel at the bottom became burnt dark and started to chip away despite our use of gentle spoons ( wooden) and careful hand washing. We contacted customer service for repairs and came across the INCREDIBLE lifetime guarantee policy - after sending pictures our pan was replaced with speed, without any fuss or issue. Many brands do offer these guarantees but in practice, the conditions of replacement are too limiting. I was pleasantly surprised to have my pan replaced for free. Since then I have also been doing research on how to care for and maintain these enamel and cast iron of these pans carefully, by looking at various videos on you tube and on lecreuset.com. Kudos to the le creuset company for creating such a fabulous product that stands the test of time. Le creuset team: I will be a lifetime customer and I will continue to gift these items as wedding presents. They are practical beautiful and sustainable addition to any persons home and kitchen.

Best quality and lifelong product to pass down through generations! I was passed down a few Le Creuset items from my mom and use them all the time as my cooking vessels. If I could afford more products I’d buy them all!

I received the large Dutch oven as a wedding gift fifteen years ago. It remains in perfect shape for me day and cooks beautifully. A little expensive but timeless

Worth the money, Le Creuset products last a lifetime. The quality is great and they can actually be found at discounted priced quite often which is a bonus. The design and colour choices are really second to none.
I bought a couple of cast iron skillets two years ago and was gifted a dutch oven about six years ago. All of these are used heavily in my kitchen (stovetop and in the oven) and have held up really well. Everything weighs a ton, but that's to be expected given the material. The red color is beautiful and I'm a sucker for simple design, so I think they look great. They are expensive, but these are a buy it for life kind of thing so I think it's worth the investment.

This could be user error, but the items do stain really easily. All three of the items I own are food stained - it's not permanent, but it DOES take a lot of elbow grease and specific cleaners to get them back to their original color. Also, although easy to fix, the handle on the lid for the dutch oven loosens pretty dramatically over time.

We have several pieces of Le Creuset cookware, including cast iron dutch ovens in two sizes, a large frying pan, a sauce pan/sautee pan combo, and three sizes of rectangular ceramic dishes. We also have several of their small kitchen utensils. Every thing we have bought has worked extremely well. The brand is consistently high quality and looks great in the kitchen! A bit on the pricey side, but is worth it!
