KitchenAid draws raves for performance and longevity, with reviews calling its stand mixers “workhorses” that last decades and elevate baking, meal prep, and pasta-making—yet they also flag real drawbacks. Many praise the powerful, versatile attachments, sleek design, and easy cleaning, while critiques cite heavy, bulky ergonomics, noise, occasional poor bowl reach/mixing at the bottom, hand-mixer cleaning hassles, and inconsistent durability for certain large appliances and accessories.

There’s a reason this is a household name brand. Their products withstand the test of time. I started with my mom’s 25 year old stand mixer and have since expanded into other products, and each is high quality, worth every penny, and has great design!
Best stand mixer ever. So versatile, especially if you like to make bread, pasta and cakes! I've had mine for YEARS and I have a feeling it will last almost a lifetime.
In my house we are definitely a KitchenAid house! We have multiple mixers, as well as multiple other hand held tools! They are all great quality, they last, and you get your moneys worth out of them!

I love my kitchen aid mixer. I get it's expensive, but it's so worth it when you allow yourself to use it for more than baking. For example - I shred my chicken with this. I just dump the chicken in, turn it on, and chop or clean for the next two minutes until my chicken is perfectly shredded. It's also perfect for making any dips, as you just dump everything in and it keeps stirring. Once you find more uses for it, it truly becomes a tool for every day use - and therefore completely worth the price.
I love a kitchen Aide!!! I love the stand mixers the best!! The only thing I don't like with the larger bowl ones, is it didn't get the bottom totally mixed like the 4 qt one., Either way, love the brand and they hold up so well!!
Love love love my stand mixer!

I graduated from pastry school in 2013. I got my professional mixer as a graduation gift. It’s 2023 and it just broke. I love kitchen aid
I bought this as a mixer but my main use for it is to mill wheat for bread with my mookmill attachment. Now I can buy wheat-betties in those huge plastic bins, which last forever so long as they’re not processed and get whole fresh tasting grains since I milk them directly into my yeast batter. What a game changer. Even better, I have larger, 7-quart sized mixer with the more powerful motor so I can make large batches of yeast dough and not worry about burning out the motor. Yes, this was expensive but I feel it’s going to last forever so a worthwhile investment. So far as everything else Kitchenaid has put it’s name on: what absolute garbage- particularly the kitchen utensils.

Wish kitchenaid would limit using their name to only the quality products they make themselves and not license it out.
Got a stand mixer. It's around six years old now and works like a charm.

Nothing off the top of my head.
I use this thing on a weekly basis and am obsessed. It took a while to find uses for it that didn’t feel like big projects, but it lives on my counter top now and feels so luxurious when I use it. If you’re thinking about springing for one, go for it!

I've had a KitchenAid stand mixer for nearly four years. I use it primarily for homemade bread, and kneading with the dough hook works very well. I've used it for baking cakes, and bought grinding accessories for grinding meat. Everything works well. The motor is pretty good. . It's kind of noisy, and bumps around on the table when kneading dough, and I have had to tighten one screw a few times to keep the housing together. One thing that must be noted is that the mixer has to be run for a few minutes at least once a month; otherwise the lubricant will settle and the motor may wear out prematurely. I did not see this in the documentation - I'm not certain it's in there - but I did get a notice from KitchenAid a few months ago, which I appreciate.

I love my kitche aid mixer! It’s so powerful and cuts down the time I spend kneading dough, rolling out pasta dough, and cutting into noodles! I cannot get enough of their gadgets! They are crafted to be easy to clean and they stand the test of time! A bit pricey, so look for a sale, but so worth the investment.

Truly the most important brand in my kitchen. I have so many Kitchen Aid products in my household I should be a spokesman. There are no words to describe the uses of the standing mixer. It is the foundation of my kitchen. The hand blender was a game changer. It makes blending sauces and soups easy, and very easy to clean.
Love love love that they offer a mini version. My MIL was so mad when I wouldn't let her buy me a stand mixer for years. But then I saw that they have a mini version that is perfect for my small kitchen since I don't want to have it out on my counter. No doubling the recipe, but it's the perfect size.
My husband is the cook in the family and he loves the kitchenaid we got for Christmas! They come in so many colors so you can definitely find the right one for you. Keep an eye out for deals - I feel like they have a discount quite often throughout the year.

KitchenAid products have been household staples that last over generations. I own many appliances and kitchen gadgets from the brand and love them all. Their design, look, versatility, durability, functionality, and most importantly, quality are what make me their loyal fan.
Overall good quality dish wear.
