  • Perfect for busy bakers. There are certain baked goods where this comes in handy, like putting air into cold butter and sugar by whipping it fast.

  • You can’t go wrong with a kitchenaid! I’ve made little tweaks to mine to bring it up to the old school longevity standards, but I absolutely adore my stand mixer. I use it constantly! Obsessed. Very pricey, but absolutely worth it as a moving in item.

  • I love this applicance for so many things. Heavy duty and reliable. Highly recommend!!

  • i’ve always wanted a kitchenaid mixer for as long as i can remember. we gifted the pistachio colored one to my mom years ago. and i always said i would take it from her. i was eventually gifted my own kitchenaid mixer in this deep matte green which was a target exclusive. i love her. easy to use. easy to clean. so many add-ons to truly choose your own adventure. i also previously owned the hand mixer and it’s perfect for smaller quick baked goods. or if i want to make something at a friends house who might not have a mixer. toss it in my bag and carry on.

  • It’s an all time classic. A robust, powerful, and beautiful stand mixer that will last forever. It’s very heavy though, so not great if you plan to move it around a lot.

  • KitchenAid makes the best mixer for the average consumer. I'd recommend it to 90% of my friends and family. I have two, and I expect to have them forever. There is one major caveat: if you want to make bread, this is not the mixer for you. The motors in these (even the commercial-grade KitchenAid mixer) just can't handle dough that isn't high-hydration. So if you're making sourdough loaves, bagels, that sort of thing— you're better off with something else.

  • GREAT brand! I have two KitchenAid mixers, one is an original, avocado green model (yes, the year KitchenAid first introduced the mixer!) that was handed down to me, and the pro bowl-lift model. To be honest, they’re both workhorses, but the antique model is my preferred mixer, it is amazing that something over 50 years old can still knead dough, whip cream….. The newer model is much noisier, and although it isn’t as robust as my retro mixer, still outperforms any mixer I’ve ever used. I’ve had to replace a few accessories over the years and I’m happy to say the current accessories still fit my antique model!

  • There is a reason Kitchen Aid stand mixers are the gold standard; they are attractive, last a lifetime, and are a workhorse. If you are an avid baker, this is a must have. That said, they are bulky, heavy, and take up a lot of counter space or cabinet storage. If you have a smaller kitchen and don’t bake more than a few times a year, you could probably do fine with a hand mixer. I bake several times a month and a ton in the fall/winter and I love my mixer but damn it’s a pain to get down from my cabinets. I just don’t have the counter space to leave it out and occasionally opt for a hand mixer when I don’t feel like getting it down. I also don’t know if I just use mine a lot or I got a lemon but the arm of mine shakes quite a bit and leads to the attachment scraping the bottom of the bowl if I don’t adjust it every month or so. Kind of a pain but I haven’t heard of friends having this issue with theirs so I think I just got lucky 😛

  • Every home chefs best friend. It’s so multi purpose, and there is an attachment for everything!

  • The KitchenAid countertop mixer is the workhorse of the kitchen! I don't use it as much as I used to, but it can't be beaten (see what I did there?) when baking, especially when creaming butter and sugar.

  • I love this brand and the different uses for it. I've made cookies, bread, pizza, you name it.

  • There is a reason that stand mixers are synonymous with Kitchen Aid. It has the power necessary to mix whatever is needed. The attachments just add to the versatility of it, weather you are rolling pasta or grinding meat. It is an essential for any kitchen.

  • I love my 4.5qt white mixer! I love how easy it was to learn the settings and how easy it is to clean! I love it!

  • I have the KitchenAid mixer and it works very well and looks nice. It is used quite often and has been working well for over 15 years. I highly recommend.

  • My family has had a KitchenAid stand mixer for over 20 years and it works just as good as the day we bought it. The thing is indestructible, and a necessity for anyone who likes to bake.

I love how many attachments there are, but I wish more came with the mixer, or were more affordable.

  • Baking is part of my personal identity. We use our kitchen aid mixer for everything. It’s a staple for year round cooking. We also purchased many of the pasta and grinding attachments and use them for pasta and meal prep.

We have the silver color and it kind of looks cheap. Should’ve picked a different color.

  • I love my Kitchenaid! It does everything I need when it comes to baking. I can leave my slack dough to knead for 10 minutes and come back to well developed dough.

The two things I would recommend is around amount of ingredients and noise. When I half a recipe or just in general have a small amount of ingredients to mix, the attachments don’t reach the bottom and then I have to mix by hand. On the noise aspect, it does get rather loud especially when it’s on a high speed

  • A classic kitchen appliance. I've had mine for over 10 years and it still works like a charm.

  • I love kitchenaid standing mixer. I feel like it’s a kitchen staple. I have the tilt head model. It has made baking so much more easier. I love the attachments I can use on it . I recently bought the ice cream maker attachment. I used it with no issues. Being able to increase the standing mixer’s functionality by using attachments makes it worth the money even more.
