Reviews mention

  • Exceptionally comfortable cushioned footbed
  • Lightweight, waterproof construction
  • Easy, quick slip-on design
  • Playful, customizable jibbitz options
  • Divisive, bulky aesthetics
  • Traction can be slippery wet
  • Vent holes invite dirt, sand
  • Platform styles risk ankle rolls

Crocs earns largely positive reviews for genuine comfort, easy slip-on convenience, water-friendly durability, and playful customization via Jibbitz—many convert from skeptics to daily wearers. Reviews also flag downsides: divisive aesthetics, foam cushioning that compresses with heavy wear, slickness on wet floors, debris entering through vent holes, occasional sizing inconsistencies, ankle-roll risk in platform styles, shrinkage in heat, and limited long-walk support, making them better for errands, beach, or work shifts than distance walking.

  • Never been a fan of crocs until I bought the Vera Bradley edition ones and feel in love with how simple they are and just slip and go

  • Crocs are one of those things you hate to love...and I do. I originally bought these as a joke. The whole "goth crocs" thing. However, upon a beach trip, I discovered I didn't have any "water shoes" that others had to traverse a rocky part of the beach we went to. I remembered I bought these on sale, again as a joke, grabbed them, put them on as we got there, and boom I was sold. These are definitely some of the ugliest shoes out there, they're very similar to dutch clogs but made of foam and have a strap. They're surprisingly durable for being made of foam. I've abused these shoes in several water-based travels, and they're still holding up great. I will say mine have faded a bit (bought the black color option), but for where I use them, I don't care. If you are about that, keep it in mind and look into prevention.

  • 4 stars because all crocs except the Brooklyn are ugly as hell and the Brooklyn sandals in wide are extremely narrow. Very misleading. However, nearly 5 stars because these ugly things are the most comfortable and versitile shoe I have ever worn! You can slip them on like a sandal/clog, but not have to grip your feet to keep them on- they provide soft support, and you can easily wash stains off of them! The only other downside I would say is that they are extremely slippery when wet, so you have to be careful if it rains or if there’s a puddle!

  • I wear my Crocs on the daily. Comfy and customizable (with the charms), these shoes are also so easy to clean and wipe down. 10/10!

  • Love crocs. Even before they were cool I loved the styles and look and most importantly comfort! they are so versatile

  • love crocs! so comfy and easy to throw on in the summer with any outfit. a bit pricey for what it is but i would say worth getting one pair!

  • Can beat these as a summer shoe for my child. Stepped in dog poo? Hose it off! When they start getting dingy just grab a magic eraser and polish them up. Child loves to personalize them with all the little jibbitz too.

  • Crocs are very popular right now and I have two pairs. They are great for throwing on for a grocery store run but it is VERY easy to trip yourself in them, which is the only downside in my opinion. But I love the customization you can do with Jibits.

  • The range of colors and sizes has really expanded over the years and I love my platform sandals! At first glance they don't even look like Crocs. I wish they were easier to clean though, because I have scuffs that I've tried removing with countless different methods that just won't go away.

  • I absolutely love how customizable and comfortable Crocs are! They are a lot more comfortable than I thought they would be - I wear them to amusement parks and even hikes.

  • Great shoes for casual wear or going to the beach or pool. They aren't super comfortable to walk long distances in, but a couple miles over the day is probably fine. I have several pairs, including a platform version. Something I wish I knew before purchasing the platforms - it's somewhat easy to twist your ankle in it since the shoes aren't really meant to be tight on your foot, so be extra careful when walking on uneven surfaces!

  • Say what you want about crocs, but the fact that it took this long for people to jump on the bandwagon, shows how much society has evolved to appreciate and comfort over. Maybe they aren’t the most beautiful shoes you’ve ever seen, but men are they comfortable. They won’t get stinky, you can easily clean them, they’re extremely lightweight, you can style them up, they’re waterproof… they won’t get stinky, you can easily clean them, they’re extremely lightweight, you can style them up, their waterproof… Need I say more? I’m a big fan of crocs and I need more of them in my closet.

  • Finally. Comfort IS cool now! And I loveeee being comfy. The only downside to this, is buying multiple pairs to match outfits or just to have a fun, new style. Once you buy your first pair, you’ll have 50 by the end of the year.

  • Painfully ugly but I understand how people like them for the convenience. These were not as comfortable as I expected.

  • When a product pull itself out the mud like this you have to love them. From the feet of Indiana dad all the way to the runway baby. So stfu, crocs is an American icon and if you don't like it its just player hating at this point.

  • I do like a croc... I could subtract one star for sweaty feet but i could add 2 for jibbitz so what you get is a perfect, comfortable, maybe a little schvitzy shoe AND you can trhow in some design flair and you are ready for anything? From the beach to the ball!! Croctastic
