Reviews mention

  • Plush cushioning comfort
  • Supportive honeycomb arch band
  • Secure no-show heel grip
  • Breathable, moisture-wicking knit
  • Inconsistent long-term durability
  • Occasional tight calf compression
  • Notably thick, warm knit
  • Sizing and fit variability

Bombas earns strong reviews for comfort, support, and stay-put performance—especially in running, no-show, kids’ gripper, and compression socks—while its one-pair-donated mission resonates. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: frequent reports of holes within months to a couple years, occasional shrinking or tight calves/ankles, some styles too thick or warm, and inconsistent fit among designs, making quality feel uneven despite many long-lasting pairs.

  • LOVE them. The honeycomb arch necklace makes my heart sing and the extra little pillow on the back is just the *chef's kiss*. I'm weird about toe seams, and these socks don't bother my baby toes one bit. 5 stars for 5 toes.

I'd love if the cost was a *little* more affordable, but I understand.

  • The socks are really high quality, both upon arrival and after 25 washes.

They are really ugly! I do not understand their sense of style at all

  • Bombas rocks! I have a number of pairs of their socks and they're perfect for anything from hiking to working out to everyday wear. They really last!

    Nothing, I love them.

  • Super cute designs, and really thick socks! I like that they have a tab at the back to prevent the shoe from rubbing against the ankle. They can get warm, but that just means the socks are really high quality.

  • Socks are great extremely comfortable and I love the different designs. Would definitely recommend!

  • Bombas are the BEST socks. They do make some fun/cool patterned socks. They fit great, they’re comfortable, and they have a great mission.

    A little pricey

  • Quality feels like it has gone downhill as they've grown. In my last order, the socks didn't seem to last long before they started falling apart with holes.

  • Love their mission, their merino wool socks are a major downer and I haven't tried their classic socks that everyone seems to love. The socks pilled majorly and got holes much quicker than other merino wool socks I've bought.

Bombas needs to figure out how to make a higher quality merino sock :)

  • My favorite socks ever. They are worth every penny for how comfortable and nice looking they are. My only complaint is that some of my socks have gotten holes after not that many wears. Overall, I can’t wear any other socks besides these.

  • The lightweight ankle socks are now the only socks I wear for workouts - very durable, very comfortable. I don’t see the need to ever try a different sock.

  • These socks are pricey but well worth the money. Highly recommend if you are on your feet a lot and you go through lots of socks weekly.

  • My friend Rob introduced me to Bombas socks, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I especially love their no-show socks. The comfort and quality are unmatched—they stay in place all day without slipping, and the cushioning is perfect for all-day wear. Plus, knowing that each purchase helps someone in need makes them even better. Whether I’m traveling or just running errands, Bombas no-shows are my go-to socks for any occasion. Highly recommend giving them a try!

  • Bought them as gifts for christmas, and treated myself to some compression socks. Now the whole family is hooked! My mom has gone and now bought more compression socks for her job as that's all she uses. Price point is a bit high, so I prefer buying the bundles.

  • Although expensive compared to other brands, I continue to be impressed by quality, fit and durability. Ample sizing for easy pull on Cotton is soft and warm

  • Last year I purchased a pair of "gripper slippers" for my wife for the end-of-year holidays, and in order to meet the minimum amount for free shipping also bought two pairs of Bombas men's ankle socks. Almost a year later, they are still going strong, and among my favorite socks. They're well-made and have held up to multiple washings. My wife had some pilling on her slippers about a month after she got them, called up Bombas, and they sent her a replacement pair that have been problem-free since that time (the only quibble was that she couldn't choose the color they sent). All-in-all, a good brand and a quality product. that I would recommend.

  • The product as well as the brand's mission are topnotch! My employer provided me with Bombas socks about 7 years back to help boost their mission. Ever since then, I've bought socks from them, and now they make basics for men including underwear and t-shirts. Their underwear are excellent fitting as well as have a soft feel, while also nicely colorful.

  • I use the merino wool running socks and they are amazing - way more comfortable and soft than most other merino socks and the market, don't trap smells, and work perfectly for cold/rainy runs as well as runs in warmer month. Very comfortable and help prevent chafing/blisters. Definitely on the pricier side, but ultimately worth it for how well they hold up.

  • They're a little hug on your feet! The most perfectly fitting sock you have ever worn.

  • I would say overall I haven't found a sock that matches the quality of Bombas. They're robust, but breathable and have the perfect cut lengths. All of my other socks feel pretty flimsy compared. However even though I've purchased multiple times, the price point always get's me. It's hard to justify spending $100 on 5 pairs for socks which I'm sure costs them pennies to make. Double hurts when your dog ends up putting a few holes in them... But at the end of the day I still haven't found socks of comparable quality so I guess you get what you pay for!
