Reviews mention

  • Plush cushioning comfort
  • Secure no-show grip
  • Supportive arch compression
  • Breathable performance fabrics
  • Inconsistent fabric durability
  • Tight calf compression
  • Thick knit heat buildup
  • Sizing inconsistency across styles

Bombas delivers notably comfortable, supportive socks that many reviews call their daily go-to—no-show styles stay put, performance and running pairs cushion without bulk, and kids’ grippy socks impress—yet durability is inconsistent, with multiple reports of holes, pilling, and shrinkage. Reviews on Bombas also praise breathable materials, arch-hugging fit, and the brand’s donation model, while flagging product-inherent drawbacks like thick fabrics feeling too warm or tight on wide calves, variable sizing between styles, and a price that feels steep for socks.

  • Quality feels like it has gone downhill as they've grown. In my last order, the socks didn't seem to last long before they started falling apart with holes.

  • Love their mission, their merino wool socks are a major downer and I haven't tried their classic socks that everyone seems to love. The socks pilled majorly and got holes much quicker than other merino wool socks I've bought.

Bombas needs to figure out how to make a higher quality merino sock :)

  • Super cozy and well-fitting socks, these are my child's favorite ones in their drawer! These are definitely not inexpensive, but these seem to last longer than many other sock brands. Go with most of their outfits and the ones she reaches for most consistently.

  • My favorite socks ever. They are worth every penny for how comfortable and nice looking they are. My only complaint is that some of my socks have gotten holes after not that many wears. Overall, I can’t wear any other socks besides these.

  • These socks are pricey but well worth the money. Highly recommend if you are on your feet a lot and you go through lots of socks weekly.

  • My friend Rob introduced me to Bombas socks, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I especially love their no-show socks. The comfort and quality are unmatched—they stay in place all day without slipping, and the cushioning is perfect for all-day wear. Plus, knowing that each purchase helps someone in need makes them even better. Whether I’m traveling or just running errands, Bombas no-shows are my go-to socks for any occasion. Highly recommend giving them a try!

  • Bought them as gifts for christmas, and treated myself to some compression socks. Now the whole family is hooked! My mom has gone and now bought more compression socks for her job as that's all she uses. Price point is a bit high, so I prefer buying the bundles.

  • Although expensive compared to other brands, I continue to be impressed by quality, fit and durability. Ample sizing for easy pull on Cotton is soft and warm

  • Last year I purchased a pair of "gripper slippers" for my wife for the end-of-year holidays, and in order to meet the minimum amount for free shipping also bought two pairs of Bombas men's ankle socks. Almost a year later, they are still going strong, and among my favorite socks. They're well-made and have held up to multiple washings. My wife had some pilling on her slippers about a month after she got them, called up Bombas, and they sent her a replacement pair that have been problem-free since that time (the only quibble was that she couldn't choose the color they sent). All-in-all, a good brand and a quality product. that I would recommend.

  • The product as well as the brand's mission are topnotch! My employer provided me with Bombas socks about 7 years back to help boost their mission. Ever since then, I've bought socks from them, and now they make basics for men including underwear and t-shirts. Their underwear are excellent fitting as well as have a soft feel, while also nicely colorful.

  • I use the merino wool running socks and they are amazing - way more comfortable and soft than most other merino socks and the market, don't trap smells, and work perfectly for cold/rainy runs as well as runs in warmer month. Very comfortable and help prevent chafing/blisters. Definitely on the pricier side, but ultimately worth it for how well they hold up.

  • They're a little hug on your feet! The most perfectly fitting sock you have ever worn.

  • 100% the only sock brand in my drawer! I love the product & what the brand stands for!

  • I would say overall I haven't found a sock that matches the quality of Bombas. They're robust, but breathable and have the perfect cut lengths. All of my other socks feel pretty flimsy compared. However even though I've purchased multiple times, the price point always get's me. It's hard to justify spending $100 on 5 pairs for socks which I'm sure costs them pennies to make. Double hurts when your dog ends up putting a few holes in them... But at the end of the day I still haven't found socks of comparable quality so I guess you get what you pay for!

  • I love my Bombas - they fit well and clean well. I just wish they came in more colors / some patterns. I also love the mission. They do honor their guarantee though - my mom has had a few pairs rip and they’ve replaced.

  • If there’s going to be anyone to give you the best opinions on socks, it’s field scientists (and other outdoorsy people). I’m a proud environmental scientist, and I put MILES on my work boots, hiking boots, Birks, sneakers, etc… it’s all part of the job. Being so, you’d think I’d have a sock for every season and occasion, but I prefer to keep my wardrobe small and streamlined. I love versatile clothing that I can wear in all different weather and events. Enter, BOMBAS. These socks fit my wide feet without being too loose, and their padded heel + built in Blister Tab really helps prevent blisters when I’m on site, in the gym, or hiking a trail. My feet don’t get sweaty, and my unnaturally high arches feel supported through the honeycomb arch support. Also, they are deliciously soft, and don’t get that weird crispy texture that some socks do when you throw them in the wash/dryer. BOMBAS also donates a top priority item to a homeless shelter for every pair of socks bought— pretty cool!

  • Best socks on earth. I have had so many good experiences with this brand. Their customer service is above and beyond any other.

I have slippers from Bombas, my partner has socks and my toddler has slippers and socks and they are the best quality. Pricey but worth it, 100%. These are my go-to gifts now.

  • These are a great sock company, if you know what you're looking for. I love wool socks, so I only purchase the wool line from Bomba. I think their cotton socks are just average, though they do a great job of creating fun colors and patterns.

The cotton socks are just ok, nothing special. The wool socks are very soft and cozy.

  • Bombas are the gold standard of socks. They're thick, super soft, and give you a great amount of support from the compression.
