Banza earns strong reviews as a high‑protein, gluten‑free swap that often tastes and chews close to traditional pasta and even delivers standout frozen pizzas, while many note it can overcook quickly, turn mushy or sticky, and some cuts feel fragile. Reviews of Banza praise the satisfying, protein‑dense pasta, kid‑friendly appeal, and tasty mac & cheese (notably White Cheddar), but flag inconsistent texture across shapes, occasional bitter/chickpea aftertaste, and spaghetti/linguine that clump or stay too firm.

I've tried many alternative pasta products as I am health conscious. This is my favorite. The texture and consistency is nice and The chickpea ingredient makes it a much healthier option over refined carbs.
I LOVE Banza! I get the mega box from Costco, which lasts me quite a while. Let me share my backstory..... In 2021 I got COVID for the first time and I couldn't taste anything for almost 5 weeks. This left me with a strong aversion to chicken, beef, and pork. While the aversion has subsided somewhat, I still rely on products like Banza to supplement my protein intake. Banza is amazing for providing the protein that I need, while still giving me the option to eat something tasty. Banza on its own provides a slightly different texture and taste than flour pasta, but with sauce and toppings, it is barely noticeable. I love to incorporate Banza as much as possible into my diet!!

This is the coolest thing to happen to pasta in years! I love chickpeas, love extra protein, and love not feeling bloated after a meal. This does it all!

Love the gluten free option but I wish they eliminated the unnecessary gums from the list of ingredients!
I really enjoy this pasta as a GF person but also someone looking to add more protein into my meals! It can overcook quickly and does not hold up the best in my experience.

Not a bad switch if you want less carbs and pasta!!
I tried the pizza last week and it was amazing! It didn't even taste like chickpeas and was crispy.
Not bad for gluten free. Not my idea of pasta, however.

I love Banza! The texture of both the pasta and the rice took a while for me to adjust to, but after a few tries, I figured out how long to cook everything to get the best results. The macaroni and cheese is not my favourite, but it is not bad at all.

Penne is great!
The pasta is such a great alternative to traditional pasta. Its high protein, with good texture and bite as well as flavor! Actually dont even buy regular pasta now!

Love the taste and salivating!
great product variety - great protein source when (as a vegan/vegetarian) i want to pump up protein; spaghetti not great texture, but all other pasta (elbows, etc) are good
I absolutely love the pasta of banza! The flavor is good, plus is healthier than other types. I love that with this type of pasta i can get my protein for the day and get a good taste at the same time. It has a good price, and i will totally recommended to a friend.

I love that this product is extra good for you, but still tastes good! I had fairly low expectations, but so the flavor and texture pretty easily exceeded them. This is one of my go to brands for grocery store pasta.
The Mac & cheese is an amazing healthy substitute for the Mac you grew up with as a kid. Instructions are easy, tastes identical.

I love how the noodles have protein, but they can fall apart really easily.
Great goal - not the greatest or easiest execution. It is way more difficult than it should be to prevent the product from becoming rubbery and chewy and disintegrating. The protein-heavy taste isn't the most appealing thing, but isn't too difficult to mask either... at least, not if you're an avid, don't-mind-the-taste-of-protein-powder protein shake consumer like me. The two stars are mostly due to the mission and that cooking with these IS possible... it's just so much work to get there.
Great alternative if you can’t have gluten, but definitely not a perfect pasta substitute. I find it to be a bit mushy personally.
