  • I loved the size of these for a pre-workout snack. Enough for a little bit of energy without being too much to digest.

    Feedback

I didn't love all of the flavors.

  • Tried these when they first came out and I wasn't a huge fan - they had a bitter taste but they've definitely changed the recipe for the better. Love these now, perfect afternoon pick me up.

  • I converted my sister to verb and she might even love them now more than me! My favorite flavor is salted peanut butter. I am not a huge coffee drinker but I do need a caffeine boost a couple of times a week and these are great. I am pretty sensitive to caffeine but the bars are the perfect dose. Sometimes I eat two if I'm feeling a little more tired that day and need a boost in the mid-afternoon.

  • This brand was founded at my university and I'm so excited to see how much it has evolved and grown since its early products and pilots! Haven't tried the smaller portion sizes since the rebrand but obsessed with the concept and the caffeination is REAL.

  • I enjoy the Verb bars and have introduced them to a number of people as an alternate caffeine product for people who don't like coffee/tea. They are a nice snack to have as an afternoon pick-me-up or to serve as your primary caffeine to start the day. They are convenient to grab, although if you are a caffeine "ritual" person, you do miss out on that experience. I've tried most of the flavors and have enjoyed them. They are somewhat pricier than I would prefer which is my only complaint.

  • Ordered by accident in my Misfits box. Eating the cinnamon roll flavor right now and can't even finish it. It's super bitter. Not for me! Disappointing, because I like the idea.

  • Yes, they work! The flavors are solid and do a pretty good job of covering up the green tea/caffeine taste. Great option to keep in the car or at home when I don't have time to make or pick up coffee. No side effects, caffeine lasts a few hours (depending on how much other food I have in my body when I eat it)

  • Really tasty! I love the caffeine boost from an energy bar! I have tried the bars and the drink mixes and have enjoyed all of the products I have had.

I would love if they had some larger bar options, but they are a nice little energy boost as is too!

  • I love these bars and think anyone who consumes caffeine should try them. They have a ton of flavors and are just a great snack for a morning or afternoon pick-me-up. I also think it’s great that they have been branching out with their product options and I especially like their test kitchen protein bars. I really hope they make those available regularly.

I appreciated their text model for service, but I’m glad they have moved to an online portal + texts. It nice to be able to see your upcoming orders and manage those through the portal.

  • The taste is amazing and the bars are the perfect size for an afternoon pick up. Love the different flavors and that they auto ship.

  • These bars are a great travel snack or something to have between meals when you need a little energy boost. They are small, but that's what is nice about them. Some other bars just feel like a lot if you are not consuming them as a snack or in between meals. I really enjoy the flavors and the packaging. I take the peanut butter bars with me on long trail runs and they serve as excellent nutrition. The customer service is so responsive and easy to work with for managing subscriptions.

    Nothing immediately comes to mind.

  • I don't believe there was any significant energy boost when I ate these. I much rather drink coffee.

  • I found the taste and texture to be unbearable! However my boyfriend ate the remainder and didn’t mind them. He wasn’t in love but liked the convenience of a quick caffeine snack.

  • I really loved the concept of this brand and the customer service is out of this world. I loved receiving personalized texts and talking to a real human being. I also love the packaging and mission behind the brand. I think it’s very innovative to have caffeinated snacks as alternatives to coffee. However, the taste was just not appealing enough for me. The bars are quite small in size and didn’t really fill me up. I also didn’t really feel the effects of the caffeine but I also consume a ton of coffee so I could just be used to it.

I think making the bars a larger size would make it so much more worth it!

  • In a market oversaturated with protein and energy bar options, I appreciate that Verb has taken a different approach. By (A) producing energy bars with a punch of caffeine and (B) making a smaller portioned bar than your typical ~200 calorie nutrition bar, Verb has found a way to create a distinctive product. The flavor and texture is good, and I appreciate that Verb has invested in continually launching new flavors. Plus, I've got a slight soft spot -- Verb was founded at my university by colleagues of mine while I attended.

  • Better taste than other similar bars on the market. Like the caffeine aspect!

The texture of the bars is a little brittle while being a bit chewy (if that makes sense)

  • I love these for a preworkout option on those really early workout days. I am super sensitive to caffeine and these have the perfect amount - 65mg from green tea extract, which allows for a slow energy rise vs. one big hit. I love their new small batch flavors that they are doing by using feedback from their community to form flavors they know will do well. Their Salted PB is basically a spoonful of Skippy (with added health benefits) in bar form. Their text to reorder is also just seamless.

I just would love to see them keep expanding their offerings across other lines!

  • A great idea + a great way to start some mornings! These energy bars are super cool—each one has caffeine in it, so it can serve as a substitute to coffee in addition to being your breakfast. As someone who doesn’t normally eat breakfast, these work great for me. They are light and have a bit of protein, so while they won’t sustain you for too long, they are a good jumpstart to the day. I do wish there was a bit less sugar and more protein in these bars, but there are few added sugars and I like that these aren’t as dense as other protein bars. They’re pretty small and light, so it feels like just the right sized snack at the start of the day (or when you need a burst of energy). The flavors are good, the packaging is cool, and the bars work well for providing a less-jittery injection of energy. They are a bit too expensive for me to buy and eat daily, but I’d say they are worth keeping around to have once or twice a week when you want a quick, energized morning.
