Verb Energy bars are enjoyed by many for their versatile use as a caffeine alternative or as an afternoon pick-me-up. The bars are appreciated for their convenient size and variety of flavors, although some find them a bit pricey. Many users have noticed an improvement in the bars' recipe, leading to an enhanced taste. However, some customers feel that the bars do not provide a significant energy boost and the taste of some flavors is less favored.

A great idea + a great way to start some mornings!

These energy bars are super cool—each one has caffeine in it, so it can serve as a substitute to coffee in addition to being your breakfast. 

As someone who doesn’t normally eat breakfast, these work great for me. They are light and have a bit of protein, so while they won’t sustain you for too long, they are a good jumpstart to the day. 

I do wish there was a bit less sugar and more protein in these bars, but there are few added sugars and I like that these aren’t as dense as other protein bars. They’re pretty small and light, so it feels like just the right sized snack at the start of the day (or when you need a burst of energy). 

The flavors are good, the packaging is cool, and the bars work well for providing a less-jittery injection of energy. They are a bit too expensive for me to buy and eat daily, but I’d say they are worth keeping around to have once or twice a week when you want a quick, energized morning.

I enjoy the Verb bars and have introduced them to a number of people as an alternate caffeine product for people who don't like coffee/tea. They are a nice snack to have as an afternoon pick-me-up or to serve as your primary caffeine to start the day. They are convenient to grab, although if you are a caffeine "ritual" person, you do miss out on that experience. I've tried most of the flavors and have enjoyed them. They are somewhat pricier than I would prefer which is my only complaint.

I received a variety pack as a sampler and was excited for an energy bar that both offered both caffeine and protein. The consistency before the reformulation was good, but not all that different than other bars on the market. They are small, but offer a good deal of energy. Overall, they are good but not overwhelmingly special. I look forward to trying the new version - perhaps it'll prove me wrong!

Tried these when they first came out and I wasn't a huge fan - they had a bitter taste but they've definitely changed the recipe for the better. Love these now, perfect afternoon pick me up.

Perfect for a convenient, afternoon pick me up!

I have tried the chocolate chip banana bread, chocolate sea salt, and peanut butter crunch which are sold at Kroger stores ( King Soopers and City Markets).  They are all pretty yummy and satisfying! The bars themselves are smaller leave me wanting a little more sometimes but the caffeine helps and I love that it’s sourced from organic green tea! I do note that the protein is low in these bars and the carbs slightly high.  They are sold individually at those stores usually like $1.99 a bar, if not on sales - which can be as low as $1 a bar. 

Love Verb bars! Perfect late morning or afternoon snack - caffeine without the jitters. They're always releasing great new flavors and make it super easy to order. 

I don't believe there was any significant energy boost when I ate these. I much rather drink coffee.

I like these bars because they give a decent amount of energy per single bar. I wasn't a fan of the taste or texture of the banana bread flavor, but the peanut butter cup one is amazing. It tastes like I'm eating candy. I want to try more flavors.

The bar I tried, Chocolate Sea Salt, was absolutely adequate. It tasted okay (could have used a bit more salt for my taste), and it did give me a bit of extra energy (the caffeine is from green tea). That having been said, it's not something I would go out of my way to try. With so many similar bars and products on the market, I don't see these being any better than what's already out there.

They seemed quite brittle. Most of the time the bars broke up in the packaging which made it a hassle to open and eat without spilling crumbs in the process. 

Taste was pretty good, and the bars aren't too large either which I like. I'm not trying to eat a ton, more so just want the caffeine from it. 

So delicious! I bought a package of these bars when I had to drive across the country a while back. They came in super handy when I was tired and needed a snack. Even now, I keep a few ginger snaps in my car for when I want to snack while I drive.

Buying one was quite the experience. I didn't realize that it was caffeinated until after I ate it. The packaging was too cute not to buy, but it didn't taste good enough to buy again. Not sustainable to eat as a snack. 

Really enjoyed these bars! I liked the texture, and also I love the size. A lot of the time I want to throw bars in a bag just in case you want a small snack but so many bars to way closer to meal replacements than just small snacks. Great option to throw everywhere for a quick snack option or if you have friends who get hangry you're looking to avoid 

These taste pretty good, and they do provide energy.

The ONLY way you can communicate with the company is via text, and they text a LOT. 

The bars taste really good. I did not feel any energy boost, but for a quick healthy snack they are great. 

I got this as a sample to try and did not love the taste. I also felt it was a lot of calories for not a lot of protein. 

I really like this product because I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but love my caffeine. I've ordered directly from the company, which is a small local business, numerous times over the last year and a half. Some flavors are better than others, sometimes you get a fresher batch and sometimes you receive old stale ones. Sometimes they ship right away and sometimes you have to contact the company 3 weeks after they charge your credit card to ask why your order hasn't shipped. None of those were deal breakers for me, just minor annoyances. The one thing that I couldn't deal with was after being a customer for over a year, the company used my information to sign me up for a subscription plan that I didn't agree to. When I contacted customer service, they said I could cancel the order (I couldn't do it myself because I couldn't sign into my account without first agreeing to a FLEX subscription plan, which I refused to sign up for) but when I asked them to remove me from the subscription plan they just ghosted me. 

The only thing to do at that point is to contact the credit card company. Since Verb Energy refused to cancel the subscription plan, I had to get a new credit card number, but obviously I won't use the new one to place another order and start the whole cycle over again. 

Bottom line, it's a good product, but somewhat pricey and not especially unique. The unscrupulous business practices overshadow the positives of the energy bars.
