Reviews mention

  • Soothing, eczema-friendly skincare
  • Lightweight, comfortable textures
  • Glossy, non-sticky lip finishes
  • Blendable, natural-looking pigments
  • Glittery, synthetic-looking bronzer
  • Inconsistent mascara performance
  • Cream blush longevity issues
  • Warm-leaning, oxidizing tints

Tower 28 Beauty earns strong reviews for sensitive-skin-friendly formulas that genuinely calm redness and acne—especially the SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray and Barrier Recovery Cream—while everyday makeup standouts like ShineOn Lip Jelly, BeachPlease cream blush, SunnyDays SPF 30 Tinted Sunscreen, and MakeWaves Mascara deliver easy, dewy looks. Reviews also flag weaknesses: some lip gloss scents, Bronzino’s visible glitter, cream blush longevity and sticky texture for some, mascara clumping over time, tinted SPF oxidizing or running warm, packaging breakage, and SOS spray value concerns versus cheaper hypochlorous dupes.

  • Huge fan of tower28! I don’t wear a ton of makeup but what I do have from them i love. It’s easy to use and beautiful to wear. When I purchase more I will definitely buy from tower28. I like the brand and the mission

  • I had this concealer on my wishlist for so long and finally got to try it! It is super creamy and blends very nicely. I found it to be a hydrating formula, it is very lightweight so it didn’t feel super heavy. I think it gives your skin a little dewy finish, it’s not matte but instead gives your skin a natural look. The applicator tip is oddly flexible, similar to a lip gloss applicator. I personally prefer doe-tip applicators but it didn’t feel super stiff. Applying it is alright but then it just seems to really get super patchy and drying. I think the texture is nice in the beginning and it doesn’t feel heavy, but then it becomes the most drying feeling ever

  • the SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray for its soothing properties and the SunnyDays Tinted SPF for providing light coverage and protection.a fabulous skin care product and I highly recommend everyone try it out especially if you have sensitive, redness for me is a great product.

  • The Los Angeles in me is screaming at how Tower 28 incorporated the smallest of details in their product packaging! It features iconic places in Southern California and is consistent with their brand colors! I've used the below list of Tower 28 products the last two months and can finally provide a review on all the items I tried out! SunnyDays Tinted SPF 30 (4/5) This is a light mineral sunscreen foundation that has good coverage. It is buildable and has no white cast! I break out very easily with sunscreen yet this formula does not anger my skin! I did experience some caking but overall a solid product. Serum Concealer (3/5) The serum concealer tested my patience! The "glides like a serum" is honestly the best aspect of the concealer. However, it does cling to dry patches near my nose area. Even when I make sure all my base layers are fully dried, on occasion, this concealer causes pilling. I even tried it on with SunnyDays as the base and it still had pilling. I tried multiple moisturizers and had the pilling issue so I am not sure what the incompatibility may be with other products. Perhaps, it may be user error so I'll continue testing this out with different products to achieve better results. Intensive Rescue Serum (5/5) The Intensive Rescue Serum is the best product for spot treatment!! The bottle dispenser is a 0/5 (spits in all the wrong directions and not friendly to dispense the thicker serum)! However, I just checked the website again to see if others had the same experience. I am *so excited* to see that Tower 28 just launched a redesigned bottle with a new pump (thank you!!). SOS LipSoftie Lip Treatment (4/5) A staple for the windy yet hot fall days here in Southern California! I love the bold red color of the tube! The lip product is really non-sticky! I do wish the formulation had less ingredients such as the iron oxides, red 27 lake, and titanium dioxide but this lip product will be part of my permanent rotation.

  • I got the mascara as a sample originally from Sephora and was converted. It doesn’t clump or flake off, which has been an issue in the past for me with other brands. I use their brown colour as I am fairer and I really like it. It doesn’t look like I’m wearing a colour, just complements my skin tone.

  • From my wife: My lips get dry pretty easily, and I’ve had sensitive skin my whole life. I’ve been really enjoying the SOS LipSoftie Lip Treatment. While I’m not a fan of overly scented products, these have a pleasant scent. (I tried both Blood Orange and Ube Vanilla.) There isn’t a ton of staying power with regard to color (though I’m not sure there are any lip glosses or balms that really do.. lip stains/lipsticks being a different story), but the lip treatments are hydrating, shiny, and give your lips a pretty pop. Would definitely buy again.

  • I’ve been using this cleanser as my daily face wash for the past few months and I think it’s a good neutral face wash. It doesn’t foam up a lot, just small suds. There’s no notable smell. There’s no oily residue left behind, which is a plus for me, but it’s very slightly drying.

  • I love how the brand has amazing products and formulations for a lower-ish price point compared to other brands positioned similarly, I’d say that their technology is unique to their brand and they deserve proper recognition for it.

  • I am a big fan of Tower 28’s promise of skin friendly makeup products. I’ve tried the eyeshadow stick, the viral sos rescue facial spray, and the lipgloss. The entire line is well-priced and works well. I’m particularly fond of the lipgloss which leaves a beautiful glossy finish without being sticky.

  • This is my new holy grail skincare. I can't say enough good things about what this does for my redness and inflammation. i wouldn't say I have bad skin to begin with, but I am truly shooketh for what this does for my general red tone. It's hydrating, gentle, and refreshing. I use it as my first step in my skincare routine morning and night. I can't think of a single downside to it. Ordering more ASAP.

  • I’ve seen so many reviews for Tower 28’s SOS Spray, I finally took the plunge and glad I did. I can get redness and generally like to use mineral water sprays to wash away the hard water after washing. I figured this could do that as well as have the added bonus of healing. It does just that. I don’t use it daily, just whenever I’m red, a little rashy, or broken out. In the morning, my skin is calm and clearing. Can’t ask for more than that. I like having this ready to go whenever needed.

  • I loved this product. The tinted SPF had no scent, was smooth to apply, and lasted all day. Good light coverage but buildable. Love that it evens out my complexion. It’s like my skin, only better. Very natural finish. Doesn’t make my skin oily. The SPF is such a bonus.

  • Love this brand! In my hunt for tinted spf I found Tower 28. I love wearing tinted spf on my in office days, as it provides light coverage & protection. I also have recently been using the concealer. It is not as hydrating as I’d like it to be, but it is for sure better than other brands (blame my dry under eyes for this one!)

  • I am deeply obsessed with the Tower 28 SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray. It’s one of those rare products that I constantly find in my empties and immediately repurchase. Any brand that takes the time to be approved by the National Eczema Association has my full trust—and my money. This spray is a total lifesaver. It’s gentle, effective, and keeps my sensitive skin calm and happy. I especially notice it helps reduce flare-ups around my period and keeps my skin feeling clean, balanced, and clear. An absolute staple in my routine.

  • The product works, but I don’t think it’s worth the money, you’re pretty much just buying the brand and the packaging. I find it helps to apply while I’m doing my makeup and keep my skin hydrated as well as for a setting spray. Good for travel as well

  • I was so eager to have thought I found a new favorite tinted sunscreen however it was a huge letdown. what was positive about it was tbs consistency was very thin and spreadable. However, the color oxidize is on your face an hour and two wearing it. My entire face looked a shade darker in yellow. i threw the rest of it away

  • I love the overall mission statement of the brand. I’ve been using the finishing powder, lippies, and blush, and they have all been amazing products that I recommend to my friends. I literally don’t know how to live without this tower 21 finishing powder. It makes my pores minimize and keeps my make up matte.

  • I purchased the GetSer pressed powder and the gogo cooling shimmer eyeshadow…overall satisfied, no complaints. I will say I don’t feel like my before/after pic of using the powder is as impressive as theirs online but maybe I’m still learning. Also, the eyeshadow doesn’t seem to last all day but is very subtle, which I like.

  • I love this brand! It’s always tough to find high quality cruelty free make up. The shimmer eyeshadow goes on super smooth and has a beautiful sheen. The tinted spf moisturizer is perfect for the days I have to run out the door and don’t want to show up at work with a completely bare face.

  • I’ve loved everything I’ve tried from Tower 28 so far! I first discovered the brand during a summer trip when a friend let me use her SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray, which helped saved my skin from the "backne" I got from carrying a backpack luggage in the humid heat. It’s been a staple in my bag ever since. ▪️ SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray: Absolutely worth the money!! This has become a hot weather and travel essential for me. It calms my skin, no irritation to my dry, sensitive skin, and doesn’t have a distinctive smell. I use it post-runs and hikes/post-flights/after wearing a mask. Note: I once tried a cheaper dupe to refill it, and it smelled like bleach. Never again! ▪️Cooling Shadow Stick (Roxy): Smoooooth application and once it dries, it stays in place but still looks shiny, glittery, and dewy. Once it sets, this thing does NOT budge, so the chance of glitter fallout is super low. It’s small and a bit pricey for such a tiny thing, but makes a great size for travel. ▪️ SOS Makeup Bag: Love that it's made from recycled materials. The bright color will make it easy to spot in my luggage, and the paracord loop adds convenience so I can hang it wherever I need to. ▪️ SOS Barrier Recovery Cream: I’m still testing this one. I have dry, sensitive skin, and the texture reminds me of the gentle moisturizers I’ve tried from Japanese brands.
