Tony's Chocolonely

Tony’s Chocolonely earns strong reviews for rich, creamy chocolate, inventive flavors like Milk Caramel Sea Salt, Dark Almond Sea Salt, and Dark Milk Pretzel Toffee, plus mission-driven, fair-trade sourcing. Reviews also flag drawbacks: some bars taste overly sweet or bland to dark‑chocolate loyalists, the thick, uneven pieces are hard to break and share, and concerns appear about heavy metals in certain dark varieties and salt intensity in caramel bars.

Tony’s chocolate makes me smile! The chocolate itself is rich and delicious and comes in a bunch of creative flavors. It’s always a treat for me. I especially like the milk chocolate caramel variety.
Love Tony's! Really great to have an option where I can enjoy the chocolate and also not support exploitation. On top of supporting a great cause, it really is great chocolate. I highly recommend buying their sampler pack first so you can try a bunch of flavors before buying a whole bar.

love the mission and the chocolate bar was yummy. The only thing I hate is how the chocolate bar is like cut. It just makes such a mess when you are trying to break it apart which is just annoying and makes me not want to repurchase

LOVE this chocolate and their overall mission to bring attention to the horrible labor practices commonly found in the world of chocolate production. Can’t recommend them enough.
Tony sir, you have somehow managed to make the most ethical chocolate ALSO the most delicious!!! 10/10. But honestly, this brand really does deserve all the recognition because they brought to light an issue that somehow slipped through the cracks - that the entire chocolate industry relies almost solely on unethical labor practices like child and slave labor. Nearly all major chocolate brands are quite literally dependent on the abuse and exploitation of “workers” (actually forced labor, illegal child labor, and at times slavery) in West Africa. They destroy communities by creating cyclical poverty only to then exploit said poverty - all to get cocoa needed to make chocolate. I was so ignorant to this until I picked up a bar of Tony’s one day a few years back - I was so shocked. I had NO idea this was happening in the process of creating my favorite sweet treat. And honestly I think the vast majority of us in westernized countries had no idea this exploitation was occurring. Tony’s seeks to end exploitation in the chocolate industry - but they go above and beyond. Instead of simply creating a new chocolate that doesn’t exploit their workers, they intentionally spread awareness of the exploitation occurring and provide a ton of education on the issue (with annual reports to show updates on the industry). They also go the extra mile by demanding change from politicians, NGOs, and even universities. On top of that, the chocolate bars they create are DELICIOUS. Every single flavor, every single time. By making such delicious exploitation-free chocolate and being so loud about the issue, they put pressure on other bigger brands to change their practices. And change is happening!! Slowly but surely, larger chocolate brands are following suit and changing their practices to become exploitation-free. I hear some say the price is too high, but no price is low enough for me to buy chocolate that perpetuates slavery and child labor. I would always rather pay more for fair treatment of workers. So for those who think saving an extra few bucks is worth the mediocre chocolate that billion dollar companies make by abusing and exploiting others - put your money where your mouth is!! And realize that Tony’s chocolate is better anyways!!!! So put your money with the better tasting, exploitation-free chocolate - your mouth will thank you ;)
Company has good purpose
Pricey but just so so yummy :')
Locally made but not as good as Cadbury’s dairy milk or a Ritter sport bar IMO. A but on the hard and chalky side for me.

Simply put... this chocolate satisfied my sweet tooth and I would buy it again!
Tony's Chocolonely is a chocolate lover's dream come true! These bars are a flavor explosion, and their commitment to fair trade and ethical sourcing makes each bite even sweeter. Indulge guilt-free and support a just cause.

This chocolate is very good, plus there's many different flavors that taste heavenly good! The price is okay and you have a lot of it.
The only chocolate bars I buy! Love the ethos and variety of flavors
Tasty chocolate, great variety. A bit more expensive than Big Choco, but totally worth it on both the ethical and taste side.
I am big fan of Tonys. The chocolate is reasonably priced, tends to show up perfectly in places where Im checking out and looking for something sweet, and my first reaction is "of course". Tonys. Esp like the Dark Chocolate and landed a sampler bag on a recent trip which made the airport a little more enjoyable.
El sabor de estos chocolates es delicioso, de verdad son de mis favoritos.
