Therabody earns strong reviews for delivering powerful, ergonomic recovery tools—Theragun and TheraFace notably ease soreness, speed post-workout recovery, and relieve jaw tension—yet the brand draws criticism for loud operation, overly intense lowest settings, bulky/heavy designs, and inconsistent battery longevity. Reviews also flag doubts about certain LED benefits and app utility, plus occasional durability issues and poor support, making Therabody highly effective but not universally comfortable or fuss-free.

I have the Theragun Elite and love that it connects to an app for guided massages. It’s very powerful but not loud. Good attachments. They do a military discount and I was able to be reimbursed through my FSA!

Found my massage gun cheaper at Costco within 3 days of purchase, they wouldn’t price match so I just returned to Therabody and purchased through Costco.

I really like the feel of the theragun and the look of it. It’s a highly functional piece of equipment, but doesn’t look like athletic equipment. It’s easy to clean, straightforward to use, and feels fantastic. It really helps me recover from my workout, and prepare myself beforehand.

I think that the price makes it very inaccessible to many people. Maybe including a couple of different heads would be nice

We have a theragun and the new theraface product as well. The theragun has been a lifesaver for me as a runner. Sometimes stretching and a roller just don't get to the difficult spots in my calves. The ability to carry on the smaller theragun has been great for work travel as well. The theraface has a multitude of attachments that really make it possible to replace several items in your cabinet. My wife and I both use it for our skincare routine and have found it a great addition.

Using the theragun on your back is pretty impossible without a partner or someone to help you. Not sure if there's a solution there.

It design and holds up well. Will last for years.
Just purchased the theraface and it has helped with acute headache attacks. It’s a little hard to navigate the cold setting but otherwise cute and functional.
I used the theraball for a weekend and had a pleasant experience. It has multiple speeds and a single button for changing settings. The only drawback of the ball is that you may need a partner to get harder-to-reach areas. I recommend putting the ball on the ground and rolling your back over it for a deep massage.

price is a bit steep but I imagine it's because of the quality of products they're releasing
I love the sleek design of my Mini Theragun. It's great for traveling, small and compact, but really packs a punch!

Honestly, I love this product the way it is.
I was excited to try out the Therabody, but overall didn't see the point of it after using it. I didn't see any difference in recovery after exercise and didn't like the feel of it. My husband is a body builder and he tried to use it as well but felt the same way I did. Didn't seem to be worth the hype.
You’ll laugh, but I started with a $40 Black & Decker car buffer after reading a Wirecutter article. Tried it once—definitely not for me. That sent me down the rabbit hole of real massage guns, and I landed on the EKRIN BANTAM as a solid, travel-friendly option. Right before buying it, my sister mentioned she had a Theragun Elite (4th Gen) she’d gotten for her husband—who never used it. I bought it off them for half price, about what I would’ve spent on the EKRIN. The Theragun feels like a premium device. It charges quickly, comes with several massage attachments (though I mostly use the standard ball), and connects to an app with guided routines. I’m not sure I’d have paid full retail ($300), but I’m glad I have it—and I’d definitely recommend it.

Honestly, the Theragun is not my thing. It felt really uncomfortable on my body and worse than before I used it. The thumping motion is not helpful to relieve my knots or stiffness and the speed is too aggressive for me.
I’ve had the mini (v1) for a few years and I love that it’s small enough to pack for trips. However, it is a bit clunky to hold and you won’t be able to reach your back by yourself. However, I tested the 2.0 version from a friend and found the new size to be way more comfortable to hold.
Love the theragun. They were the first! but they are very expensive and there are so many similar massage guns from other brands on the market that are much cheaper. They all have similar motor- horsepower and have a similar shape. I’m not quite sure why theragun has such a premium besides marketing.
I mean, this thing is a life savor. It’s basically a conversation piece at this point for how many guests want to use it. I use it almost daily and it has significantly improved my life!
My boyfriend plays college football and the theragun is a necessity for his recovery. I highly recommend this for any athletes
Have you ever wondered what it'd be like to be on the receiving end of high intensity and high volume punches? Well look no further! Sure, this is the top-notch performer in the realm of percussive massagers, but the volume and sound approximates someone jackhammering concrete in your living room.

Great percussive massager, expensive, might lose your hearing and sanity over time.
I have the Theragun Mini and LOVE it. I asked for it for Christmas a few years back and my mom got it for me and also fell in love so I ended up buying one for her birthday a few months later. It's also the perfect gift for any partner/family member!!
Helps with sore muscles after evert workout, my brother gave tis to me as a gift and it actually helps a lot when I have tired muscles.
Our household Theragun is almost a nightly necessity. It pummels our backs into a state of bliss after being on our feet all day. Imagine the fastest moving tiny fist hitting all the right spots - its heaven. I love the app to record sessions and give tips on where / how to use, it's such a thoughtful element and upgrades the experience of what you're spending money on.
I own a Theragun Pro and a pair of RecoveryAir boots. The Theragun is wonderful to use, especially paired with the app, which allows you to follow recovery programs based on your needs. The boots are an absolute godsend. Very expensive but worth every penny - 20 minutes of gentle massage feels amazing and is so refreshing.

One of the best recovery tools on the market. I suffer from aches and pains on my IT band and underneath the shoulder blade and the Theragun Elite helps me with pain management.
