  • Powerful percussive performance
  • Ergonomic triangular design
  • Long-lasting battery life
  • Sleek, travel-friendly mini
  • Noticeably loud operation
  • Occasionally weak battery longevity
  • Heavy, bulky devices
  • Overly intense lowest setting

Therabody earns strong reviews for delivering powerful, ergonomic recovery tools—Theragun and TheraFace notably ease soreness, speed post-workout recovery, and relieve jaw tension—yet the brand draws criticism for loud operation, overly intense lowest settings, bulky/heavy designs, and inconsistent battery longevity. Reviews also flag doubts about certain LED benefits and app utility, plus occasional durability issues and poor support, making Therabody highly effective but not universally comfortable or fuss-free.

  • I mean. It works. It's not broken and I've had it for years. It legitimately relieves pain.

  • Therabody has amazing products. Their massage guns are perfect. As someone who works with athletes everyday this product stands the stresses of constant use. The battery life last a very long time. They different massage attachments are great. This theragun is very quiet and you can have a conversation while it’s in, compared to other products

  • My husband and I love recovery doo-dads, but the Theragun Mini is our most returned to. He is an avid cyclist and I strength train regularly so we are a sore household! The Theragun is a great tool to loosen tight or sore muscles at the end of a long day. I also recently got a Theraface, and while I’m not sure it’s doing much for my skin per se, it is extremely relaxing (and, it turns out, great for draining inflamed sinuses!)

  • As a fitness instructor, my Theragun is a lifeline. I was genuinely surprised how effective it is in helping my muscles recover between workouts. The app is helpful in allowing me to be mindful of time and pressure spent on my muscle groups. It's like having a mini masseuse! I do wish there was ab it more guidance on how to use some of the interchangeable tips it comes with. I made the mistake of using the cone attachment on my calves the first time I used it and it left my with some pretty nasty bruises. Otherwise, I fully recommend this for anyone who engages in exercise regularly!

  • As a professional dancer, this product is a life saver! It helps minimize my recovery time and is way easier than rolling out.

  • The theragun mini still delivers more than enough power to get out knots and relax your muscles

  • Pretty good. It’s a great percussive device although realistically a bit overhyped. Ultimately, their customer service was disappointing. I had ordered a charging stand with my device which they ran out of and didn’t inform me of either, as they had marked my order completed and fulfilled and I had to reach out to them to ask where my missing charging stand was. Even after reaching out they reimbursed me and gave me like 10% off my next order… pretty disappointing for a brand like theirs.

  • It's a cool device and works well. It won't solve any pains/muscle problems, but good for basic stretching and muscle recovery.

  • I loved the mini which helps resolve all of my neck tension and muscle pain issues. It’s easy to use and manage if you don’t have anyone else around.

  • Easily the strongest massager I’ve ever used. Possibly too much? It does a great job but I found it’s ergonomics and app to be less than desirable. For something so expensive I found the app functionality to be pretty unnecessary and would have preferred more functional buttons on the device itself. I also don’t like that the default setting coming on is to start high intensity and you have to turn it down every time before use if you don’t like it at max. I think you could find something cheaper that would have similar results.

  • I have had a few different massage guns and this one takes the cake. If you have any kind of muscle aches this handy little machine will help.

  • Used my partner's during marathon training, worked well for muscle pain.... but tbh, kind of just a fun toy.

  • This things are almost as good as a Thai massage in Thailand itself! Get in on all the knots and does not care if you do a moan or two! ;) You might be sore but the next day you are a new person! I love to use this on my boyfriend too, sometimes to make him feel better, sometimes just to get my frustrations out. Please do consider this all jokes, but the actual fact this is a great device.

  • Had my theragun for a couple of years now, an amazing product, it feels professional, sturdy, and well designed, and the packaging is beautiful and well executed, I'm rating a 4 just cause I think the app is just ok, maybe if they updated with new routines o make it open to users in order to create community this would be a solid 5/5

  • Portable, sleek design, and easy to use. It provides relief after sports and workout sessions. Different levels of intensity (or pressure) can be selected, which I appreciate because some days my muscles are more sensitive.

  • Very portable but still has the same effect as a normal massage gun. Definitely worth the purchase

  • this is 100% the best gift someone can receive. super relaxing and has so many different attachments! i’ve purchased both the mini theragun and the traditional. love it!

  • I was bought one of these for my birthday and as a regular gym goer it’s been a really nice addition to my routine. I feel it’s saved me from some serious aches!
