  • This brand is so worth the hype. I got the lip butter balm in pink sugar and it has the perfect sheer coloring, smells delicious, and is long lasting. The jet lag mask is going to become a holy grail item for me layering it on before bed. Ordering from the direct site also included a bunch of mini trial freebies that were so adorable and makes me want more of the full size items!

  • I'm happy Summer Fridays came out with mini lip balms, since it makes it easy to try a variety of flavors. I love these lip balms as a gift or a little treat, but they're definitely overpriced. The formula is thick and smooth, and the scents and tints are nice too, but I've seen so many other products like this for cheaper.

  • I find the lip balm hydrating and glossy and I enjoy how my lips feel soft though it does feel thin and sometimes greasy it is still one I reach for when I want something a little special. I try a lot of lip glosses, but always come back to summer fridays

  • I have been using summer fridays since their first launch (the Jet Lag Mask) and have become a huge fan. The ingredients are fantastic and never break me out. The Lip Butter balms have become an everyday staple of mine, and I've gotten them in nearly every color. I think I have repurchased the Overtime mask 3 times! Love every product from them.

  • So many hits from Summer Fridays! Obviously the lip balm is amazing and there are so many beautiful colors. I’m also a fan of the jet lag mask and hydrating serum. I have sensitive skin and none of their products have ever broken me out!

  • The Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask and Pink Sugar Lip Balm are a hydration dream team. The mask gives instant plumpness—cooling, creamy, and comforting like silk on tired skin. The lip balm melts in with a sweet, buttery glide that feels plush without being sticky. Both products deliver intense hydration with a luxurious texture you’ll want to reach for every day. I used the mask as a moisturizer for about a week on my balanced skin because it was struggling with dryness and it saved me! The lip balm is DELICIOUS, super hydrating, easy to glide on! No negatives. I had the full size versions and ate them up! I now only have the birthday gift lip balm from Sephora.

  • I use it before makeup—it feels super refreshing and hydrating. Great for all skin types, especially dry or dehydrated skin. Lightweight texture absorbs quickly without any stickiness. Leaves my skin plump, smooth, and glowing all day.

  • I own several Summer Friday lip balms and in all honesty, they’re okay. Nothing life changing and probably wouldn’t repurchase. It has a smooth consistency but I don’t find them long lasting and it tends to leave these sticky residues on the corner of my lips.

  • I love the summer Friday Jetlag mask. It’s been a lifesaver for me on the airplane. however, the sheer skin tent was a total letdown. I bought shade two and the consistency was very very watery. About half an hour into the application it also oxidizes on my face turning another shade darker. I also threw this one out very disappointed.

  • I begrudgingly admit that these are worth the money. The Jet Lag Mask is a lovely, soft, creamy texture and super hydrating. I got a minis set of the lip balms last year and I think they're the only balms I've actually used all the way to the end - I would say they're medium quality, but I love the flavors/scents. I'm not in love with the price, but I do enjoy the products when purchased in a value set.

  • Am I the only one who thinks this lip balm is incredibly overrated? I found it to be completely unspecial and overpriced. The color is nice but the texture is not worth paying $20 for. I found myself reaching more for my $7 aquaphor.

  • I purchased the lip butter balm (which I know I love) and the sheer skin tint (which was totally new to me). The lip butter balm is truly the best balm out there. Non-sticky, natural, your-lips-but-better colors. Hydrating, dreamy, and in the cutest packaging! But listen. The sheer skin tint? ICONIC. I’m a brown girl with medium, neutral, olive tones and shade 4 was absolutely perfect. I have oily skin, but this product sort of self sets? I was so worried upon application that it would melt off but it doesn’t! It’s glowy, but not over the top, and is the best sheer layer of product. I’m wearing it (pink scarf), and even with flash and spf, there’s no flashback! Would definitely recommend.

  • I received both the jet lag mask and the lip butter balm in brown sugar for my birthday, and I LOVE them both! The lip balm is so hydrating, and I love that the shade is buildable since it's such a flattering color. The jet lag mask really quenches my skin which is great in both the summer and cold windy days!

  • The lip butter balm in pink sugar smells like delicious frosting and is very moisturizing. I love the flexible applicator on the tube as well. It lasts decently long and provides a nice glossy, slightly pink hue on the lips.

  • I’ve been a fan of the jet lag mask for years, and absolute loved the essentials set for sticking in my carryon for recent travels (truly the perfect size)! First time trying the blush butter balm, it’s so creamy and very pigmented on my fair skin. I only needed a little bit and it stayed on all day which is amazing pretty amazing because I tend to sweat off blushes immediately. I also purchased the lip butter balm in pink sugar which gives such a nice subtle glossy sheen, perfect for work

  • I love the way this lip oil feels, though I think it is a little sticky. I got the pink cloud color, and I love it. It's very sheer and just adds the tiniest amount of color to make it seem like I'm not wearing any color. I like the way it feels on my lips more than the lip butter, I think it's a lot less sticky. It has a tiny bit of tingle as well. I like the applicator as a brush, but I do think it picks up way too much product, so I find myself rubbing it along the top of the container to get most of it off. Other than that, I really like the oil! The lip butter is nice, but I think because it is so sticky I find myself reaching for it less often. People who want a longer lasting shine will probably like that more. I will update as I use them more! Photo is the lip oil. I will also say I think the price point is quite high as someone who typically used Vaseline as their main lip balm, but I am starting to see the appeal of these higher priced lip products!

  • Okay, why was I such a Summer Fridays hater? I first tried their Lip Butter Balm from a Sephora birthday gift and hated the overly sweet, artificial scent. But I gave it another shot and ordered the butter balm in Brown Sugar and Sweet Mint. Still not obsessed with the smell, but the Brown Sugar shade? Gorgeous. It’s a perfect, slightly vampy nude. ▪️ Butter Lip Balms: I’ve tried popular lip butters/balms/masks, but nothing worked for my parched lips. I've been loving Sweet Mint as an overnight lip mask. I slather it on before bed, and I wake up with soft, hydrated lips. The formula is thick, moisturizing, and not sticky. ▪️Skin Tint (Shade 2.5): Exactly what I’ve been looking for! Sheer, natural, skin-like. I have dry, light skin and the shade 2.5 is a perfect match with no patchiness on my dry spots. It doesn’t provide much coverage, but that’s the point. It evens out redness, especially around my nose, and gives a dewy, natural look. It layers well over my moisturizer and SPF. ▪️ Cloud Moisturizer & Shadedrop SPF: No review yet. Will update review after trying. Bonus: Everything is vegan and skincare-focused. ♥️ Solid 4.5. Not quite a 5, because of the scents.

  • I absolutely love me some Summer Fridays lip balms. Lips look naturally healthy and slightly glossy — perfect for no-makeup days or layering under lipstick. The sleek packaging makes it super easy to toss one in my purse or pocket for on-the-go touch-ups.

  • my all time favorite lip product I own in every single shade! I keep it with me wherever I go, and it is perfect for both hydration or the perfect lip combo. My favorite is pairing the clear shades like pink sugar or vanilla with a neutral lip liner for the best lip combo, or shade poppy is amazing on its own

  • Let’s talk about the Jet Lag Mask first — it’s solid. Definitely hydrating and I love the packaging. It’s slim, travel-friendly, and fits perfectly in a purse or cosmetic bag for quick use on the go. That said, I’ve used more moisturizing formulas that give me that “deep hydration” feeling. This one’s great for a quick refresh, but not what I reach for daily when my skin needs serious moisture. As for the Lip Butter Balm, it’s… fine. It’s cute, smells nice, and looks sleek, but for me, it just doesn’t deliver enough hydration. I’m more of a Topicals kind of girl — I like that slick, hydrated, glossy-but-not-sticky look, and Summer Fridays doesn’t quite hit that mark for me. Verdict: Both products are nice and definitely aesthetic, but they don’t earn a permanent spot in my daily lineup. More “good to have” than “can’t live without.”
