SmartSweets earns largely positive reviews as a lower‑sugar candy that satisfies cravings—standouts include Sweet Fish, Peach Rings, Sourmelon Bites, red twists, and gummy worms—while recurring complaints in reviews cite an extremely sticky, tooth‑clinging texture and occasional odd or stevia‑like aftertaste. Reviews also note inconsistent chew across flavors and batches, plus some GI sensitivity for a few users; if you want a healthier candy fix and can accept a different chew, SmartSweets is a compelling swap, but purists may prefer the originals.

As someone with a serious sweet tooth, I love Smart Sweets. No weird after flavors—a great treat while staying on track with my fitness goals.
I wanted to like these, but the consistency just was too soft, like an already moist gummy sitting in a warm car all day. The taste was good though.
Chewy and sweet with less sugar, perfect size!!
Golosinas con poco agregado de azucar, Textura agradable al paladar y sabor delicioso.
The sour watermelons and peach rings are some of our faves! The "Swedish fish" not so much.

These have a decent taste but are super gummy. Also the sugar alternative is a little odd.

These were ok, I kind of feel like the sugar hit for a regular gummy is worth it.
DELICIOUS! We get these for every "candy" holiday, instead of the junk ingredient typical candy available on the shelves. If you love sour and gummies, these will be a hit. A feel good taste good treat.
I love the taste, and you don't feel really guilty about it.
Tasty, albeit with a distinct stevia taste (and aftertaste). Very hard to chew compared to actual swedish fish. These aren't bad at all, but I wouldn't buy again: not worth the calories unless you already eat a lot of candy and need to swap something in.
Great Canadian brand. I was first introduced to these when I was stopping by my local supplements store to restock my pre workout. I figured I would give them a try and they quickly became something I would have as a snack or after a intense workout to quickly refuel my body. Since first seeing them in Canada back in 2019 I had since moved to the United States and was really pleased to see that they have been making appearances on store shelves here. When shopping in target I noticed the packaging and told my husband "This looks like this amazing Canadian sweets brand.." not realizing it was the same product until it was right in front of me. I ended up purchasing all of the peach rings they had in store so I could stock up. The flavours are right on point without that bitter fake sugar flavour. It's truly a great product. However don't expect it to be exactly like peach rings that is made by a large corporation. These are completely natural, flavoured with real fruit juice and no artificial flavors. It's something for people who are health conscious and wanting to enjoy precious delights while not comprising their health or having intense blood sugar spikes. Whether you're an athlete, diabetic or a parent who wants better options for their children - this is an amazing product for so many.
If you want a good candy and low sugar that’s your brand
Smartsweets are a great alternative to sugar and dye ridden candies. My kids love them, and I feel great giving them SmartSweets.

Taste and texture are odd. It's sweet without any tart even the one marked sour. Flavoe profile gets boring real fast. It's acceptable to eat if you really need to control your sugar but imo it's mostly marketing package that stands out, not the product itself
I love these candies. It’s amazing without the calories.
Taste pretty decent and don't leave me feel bloated or crashing like some other candies do.
They’re a great lower calorie option but still don’t taste as great and are quite expensive. I’d rather indulge in the real thing
Great candy without the horrible sugars. It is great, just a bit expensive.
When i tell you this made my middle name sweet tooth lol
The texture isn’t as soft as I’d like
