SmartSweets earns positive reviews for genuinely tasty, low‑sugar takes on nostalgic gummies like Sweet Fish, Peach Rings, Sourmelon Bites, and Red Twists; it satisfies cravings and often avoids “fake” sweetener aftertaste. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: many candies are extremely sticky or tough, flavors can be inconsistent with occasional stevia/allulose aftertaste and GI upset, and portions feel small. Overall, SmartSweets is good if cutting sugar, but texture quirks and formula variability make it a compromise for purists.

The texture isn’t as soft as I’d like
Not my fave unfortunately. I can't get over the artificial taste
In a world full of sugary chemicals it sucks when you cannot eat things because of the ingredients they have in them. With SmartSweets you don’t have to worry about that! That is why I love them so much
For my mom who has diabetes, these candies are good for the sweet tooth. But the Swedish fish and other candies are not good AT ALL
My fav are the sour watermelon! They recently changed them and they are even better. Great little sugary snack without much sugar!

These candies are a nice, healthy alternative. Have tried many flavors and will continue to buy.
Always looking for healthy sweets, is that possible? Well for most of these products, we have found a handful that we love and a few that don't taste as good as we thought they would. The Red Twist could use some improvements, or maybe I was envisioning a taste like Red Vines. These were not one of our favorites. Sweedish Fish were great - such a fun treat when you crave some candy!
The peach rings are my favorite. This is great if you want to get your sweet fix without the harmful chemicals and sugar. I get these pretty often whenever i'm on the go.
If you don’t need to get a low sugar or alternative sugar candy I can’t recommend. Aftertaste and strength of flavor was off putting and metallic

Not for me got swollen lips after eating it.
I've tried all of their products, except the red twists. I appreciate the concept and like the flavors, but the textures?!? The texture is a dealbreaker for me. These sweets are definitely the most difficult candy I've ever tried chewing, and I would not be surprised if they damage someone's teeth. Avoid if you have TMJ, for sure!
Tastes almost as good as candy with more sugar. Sometimes the sugar substitutes or ingredients made my tummy rumble. I don’t buy them any more because they gave me a tummy ache. But good alternative to sugary candy if you need a treat and what to decrease sugar or diet.
I am overawed that SmartSweets could pack so much fiber into a candy. Seeing the nutrition label, I assumed that these would taste horrible, but was pleasantly surprised. While they do not taste exactly like their much-more-heavily sweetened counterparts, they have a good flavor and are so much better for you.
I have not found Smart Sweets that I like yet. The concept is great, but they are so chewy and have weird fake sugars in them, can't get behind them.

I like the mission of free of added sugar and sugar alcohols. The candies satisfy my sweet tooth once in a while without guilt.
They’re a different breed of candy. The peachy flavor is there, but it’s got that tang that might not suit everyone. Texture-wise, a bit chewy, but that's the game with these low-sugar treats. If you're on the healthy snack train and craving some nostalgia, they're a decent pick. But if you're after that classic gummy squishiness, these might not hit the mark. A solid choice for those watching sugar intake, though. 🍑🍬
I do like this product. I wish there were more included, but that’s just because I love candy!! The watermelon ones are my least favorite as they are too chewy for me, but the look alike Swedish fish and the peach rings…oh my goodness I love!!!! Great product overall and thankful for an alternative to some of my favorite things that are so bad for me!
The overall of experience of some flavors are overall better than others, but you can't knock em for creating a ' better than' product.

Flavors and packaging are fun, but I'm not a fan of the ingredient list / allulose. It doesn't agree with my stomach and is not something I want to put into my body.
