Seed earns polarized reviews: many users report that DS-01 and the 14-Day Gut Reset reduce bloating, improve regularity, and even support skin and mood, while others feel no effect or experience nausea, rashes, constipation, or worsening bloating. Reviews also praise Seed’s science-forward approach and elegant, eco-friendly glass-and-refill packaging, but call out capsule size, glass travel vial fragility, and mixed tolerability; some question transparency and a few cite aggressive subscription practices.

Just 3 days after taking Seed I stopped feeling bloated and a lot of general inflammation and puffiness I've experienced has gone away. My allergies just stopped along with a chronic cough I had for months. I feel so much better and this is the only thing I changed in the past few months. My overall health is a night and day difference.

I love the fact that science is such a big part of the brand. I trust it!
One of THE BEST pre + pro-biotics out there! They call it a synbiotic, and all parts of the product are key in the formulation and delivery of the bacteria to the most important part of our GI tract - the colon. They can say with confidence that their product doesn't destroy or degrade the exposure of the bacteria in the stomach or the duodenum, rather reaches the colon safely. Even the outer capsule (green) is used as a pre-biotic derived from pomegranate. As a pharmacist, I really like the design of the product for delivery of the most evidence-based bacteria. As an environmentalist, I really love the mission of the company and how it is using the science and sustainability including their full attention to the packaging. Efficacy: within 3-5 days of taking this product, it significantly reduced gas as well as the odor. With sustained use of the product, regularity to bowel movements is restored. Partnership: they partner with healthcare providers with easy to use discount code for patients and family members for ordering the product.

The cost of the product and more clinical trials with people who have specific medical conditions (e.g. SIBO, IBD, IBS, celiac, etc.) Subscription: slightly complicated to navigate website and make changes. Price point needs to come down to about $30/month
I've been taking these probiotics for about 5 months. I was hooked when I first skipped a month and noticed my skin was breaking out and my digestion sucked; got back on these and things have been noticeably better. I LOVE the packaging, the ease in being able to travel with these, and the refill process with my subscription (super eco friendly packaging).

I took Seed for over a year and I'm only rating 3/5 because it's definitely on the pricey side for a probiotic but I genuinely could not tell a difference in how I felt after taking it for so long. After a while, it felt like a waste of money so I stopped.
I can tell such a difference in my digestion with this product. I also feel like I learned a lot following them on social. The subscription model is really convenient too, so I'm a big fan! A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Seed has truly impressed me with its approach to probiotics! Their broad-spectrum and targeted probiotics are designed to not only improve gut health but also benefit overall wellness in a sustainable way. I’ve noticed a real difference in my digestive health since using their products—feeling more balanced and energized. What I really appreciate is their commitment to both human and planetary health; the packaging is eco-friendly, and they prioritize sustainability in every aspect of their business. If you're looking for high-quality probiotics that support both your body and the environment, Seed is a brand you can trust!
Have been using these for almost a year now and have had a great experience
I've tried many probiotic products that have been pushed through the market and by the influencers we love so much that we trust them on anything they say. I waited a while to purchase seed and man, I wish I hadn't. Firstly - their customer service is incredible. I had two of my first packages stolen and they replaced them everytime without a question. Secondly - the product is just great - within in the first few days i noticed a change in my bowel movements and bloating. I dont really have skin issues so this wasn't something that i was concerned about. But if youre trying to regulate yourself. I definitely recommend this product! The packaging is great, the customer service is top tier, and its a product that is doing what its supposed to!
Used this for about 6 months. I liked the glass containers, the compostable subscription bags, and the general model. I did not notice any change in my digestion or gut health while on this and it was too costly to keep taking it "just in case." Even if I did a course of antibiotics in the future I don't think I would get this again, because the whole model is really set up for a long term user, not a post medication rebalancing act.
The only probiotic that works for my husband! My husband has dealt with stomach issues for years and tried many probiotics from OTC pharmacy ones to medically prescribed. The only one that has worked for him, where he saw results almost immediately is SEED.

Taking a probiotic like many vitamins is an investment. But if it works and relieves pain and discomfort it’s totally worth it. Honestly for such a high quality probiotic I’m surprised it doesn’t cost more. I believe the cost is about the same as OTC Align from the drug store. The quality of product, packaging, customer service, and delivery management is top notch!

Seed is one of the few health and wellness products that you can actually tell is doing something. I noticed changes in my digestion when I started taking it, and on the occasions (like a vacation) where I forget to take them for a few days. I think overall it is beneficial, though hardly a magic wonder drug, and I trust that it is helping my microbiome stay healthy.

It's wildly expensive. Every single month I reconsider whether it's worth it. I switched to the 'more sustainable' refill cadence of once every three months, which I don't mind doing at all, but it does feel like I should get a discount for that since I'm saving Seed money on shipping. I also wonder what a 'low dose' regimen would be like, taking a single capsule each day instead of two.

Seed is the only supplement that I have consistently stuck with since I started taking it. I appreciate the science and backing behind the product which makes it stand out in the sea of supplements that feel like mostly marketing. Packaging stands out here as well, as the first box comes with a mycelium packing foam, and refills come just in a mailer and get emptied into the reusable glass jar. I believe that seed has impacted my skin and gut significantly, and will continue to take them!
Definitely the coolest and most effective probiotic I’ve taken.
Feedback
Too pricey for something I want to take everyday to help improve my health.
Nothing to complain about, but I didn't notice any difference from using the supplements. I was hoping to see an improvement in my skin, though, as I don't have any digestive issues.

I tried it for a couple of moonths and my digestion improved noticeably, and I felt less bloated and more regular. The packaging is beautiful and eco-friendly too. That said, I had some mild bloating and nausea during the first week, so I had to start with just one capsule a day. It’s effective and thoughtfully made, but not a miracle product. Worth trying if you can commit for a few months!

I tried the 14-Day Gut Reset after an all-you-can-eat cruise vacation. While I'm plant-based and a pretty healthy eater, I still had some bloating and general "ick" from eating too much on vacation. This reset made a noticeable difference to truly "reset" while transitioning into my regular diet. I haven't tried the daily supplements, but the reset kit made me a believer so I might give it a try. The price makes me wary about adding another pricey daily item to my already extensive routine, but the two week set is an easy way to try it out. Perfect for after vacation, over indulgence, or to flatten your belly for an event because of the de-bloating effect.

I have a friend who is student studying the human gut microbiome in health and disease whose PI is in the group that designed Seed. I think that well designed and thought it is pricey, it could be worth it depending on your personal health!
Love the branding and what the product was supposed to do but I tried it for two months and I literally could not tell the difference of whether I was actually taking them. Not quite sure of the affects.
Seed is an incredible brand that I’m so glad I discovered! Their probiotics have made such a positive difference in my gut health. I love that they focus on science-backed formulas and high-quality ingredients, and the capsules are so easy to take. It’s reassuring to know I’m supporting my digestive system with a brand that prioritizes transparency and sustainability. Seed has truly become a staple in my daily wellness routine, and I feel so much better for it!
