Reviews mention

  • Engaging, charismatic instructors
  • Extensive, evolving class library
  • Sturdy, smooth ride hardware
  • Motivating, community-driven platform
  • Uncomfortable, rigid bike saddle
  • High, recurring membership fees
  • Occasional clunky software updates
  • Inconsistent hardware longevity

Peloton wins praise in reviews for motivating, studio-caliber classes, engaging instructors (Cody Rigsby, Alex Toussaint, Robin Arzón), seamless app breadth, and sturdy, smooth hardware that makes at‑home workouts convenient and habit‑forming; however, recurring membership costs are widely criticized, the bike seat comfort and occasional hardware maintenance issues recur, and some find the experience overrated or less effective than live classes. Overall, Peloton is good if you’ll use it consistently and value variety and community, but buyers should weigh subscription demands and ergonomics.

  • Working out? Grab this. It's always kinda on sale but I love the classes. Every instructor is so motivating and caring even just through a screen.

  • Enjoyed the app, and large library of pre-recorded & live classes in not only spin but other activities like yoga and coached outdoor running. Would give 5, but price is very steep if you use the app WITH the actual peloton equipment.

  • I have the Peloton tread and i love it! Honestly worth the money as long as you use it all the time. Love that theres so many different types of classes and that you can even use your account on outdoor runs from your phone. Only complaint is their customer service is kind of difficult and the fees to move your tread if you're moving is INSANE. They wont move it for you but you have to pay for them to take it apart and then put it back together :/ Besides that love my tread and the trainers on there!

  • The Peloton Tread is nothing short of a revelation in the home fitness world. From its sleek design to the seamless integration of technology, it has truly redefined the treadmill experience. The diverse range of guided workouts available keeps me motivated, ensuring that every run or walk feels fresh and invigorating. Its interactive features and the sense of community it fosters are unparalleled, making every session feel like a group class right in the comfort of my home. However, while the product itself is top-notch, there's room for improvement in the customer service department. My interactions felt less personalized than I would have hoped, and quicker response times would be appreciated. That said, the Tread's quality and overall experience largely overshadow the service hiccups. It's a remarkable piece of equipment that has invigorated my fitness journey. Highly recommended for those looking to elevate their at-home workouts, just be prepared for some patience if you need support.

  • Peloton is rather pricy but they have great bikes that are very high quality. I sadly had to get rid of my bike while moving but I may reinvest in a new one because of the fun workout videos on the app. Overall good brand, just a little pricy.

  • I love my peloton bike! I use it more in the winter when it’s less desirable to be outside running etc. I have a few instructors that are my go-tos. Always get a good workout and appreciate how many time and level options there are on the bike. I also use the app for yoga and strength training.

  • I didn’t understand the peloton craze until my husband wanted to get one and now I am all in. It makes getting in a workout so convenient there’s no excuse not to! I love the app too. It’s nice to have when traveling!

  • Used at our friends house during vacation! Now looking into getting our own! Makes working out so much fun and recommend to my clients every day!!! Love love love this product so much and can’t wait to get my own!!!

  • Love and Hate relationship. I think maybe the software is changed now but I wish I could be able to track how my cadence was improving when doing the rides. I wish I could see improvement or that the software would automatically calculate how much I was improving from day 1 to day 30... Cody, I loved your classes! Best Peloton instructor ever!

  • To start off, I've only used Peloton for its cycling classes. The variety of others they offer (Yoga, Stretch, etc.) are nice, but I have the bike because I want to ride the bike. I'm a casual rider (1x week) and even for me, I sometimes struggle to find the music theme in the length I want. I'm not even picky about instructors, but it sometimes feels like the same classes are pushed to the top and need to dig back into the archives to find one I haven't done. And while I'm not picky on instructor, I think a lot of them do way too much chatting and not enough letting us enjoy. In an actual class setting it doesn't feel as annoying, but virtually, the leaderboard shoutouts and pump up words feel fake. Lastly, the updates take FOREVER. I don't think it's my internet, but I never want to shut it off for fear I'll need to wait around for 30+ minutes the next time I turn it on for it to "warm up." This review probably feels negative and not a 4/5 stars vibe, but the bike is what is (good!) and anything missing brings it a tick down.

  • Peloton has revolutionized the home fitness industry by offering a convenient and immersive workout experience. The centerpiece of their offerings is the Peloton Bike and Treadmill, both of which are beautifully designed, sturdy, and equipped with a large screen that streams live and on-demand fitness classes. The fitness class are always so much fun while getting a killer workout!

  • This product does exactly what its supposed to do - its sturdy and has made it through two moves. I only wish I used it more :)

  • We love our Peloton. One of the only ways I look forward to cardio. The expanded options outside of the classes are great and offer more flexibility.

  • Pretty good but kind of rickety. Classes are good quality though, and would say instructors are fun to take class with. Would say it’s on me to use it more and in the meantime it’s taking up a lot of room.

  • I love my Peloton. I've wanted one for a long time and purchased over a black friday sale and it's just awesome. I was never a serious biker or anything but it's great for even beginners. Makes cardio fun and the classes are fantastic.

  • Easy workout option, especially with kids & throughout pregancy. Great preganancy friendly classes & lots of options for 20 min classes.. It is expensive, but is good quality and can understand the hype that it drummed up, especially throughout covid

  • I love the variety of Peloton classes. I used to have a bike but didn't use it enough to justify the expense (my own fault). The instructors are motivating and positive. Overall, great experience.

  • I used the app with a 3rd party bike. Content quality is top-notch. Very impressive. Great classes and instructors.

  • I love my peloton but wish the monthly subscription cost was lower, given the cost of the bike. Especially since you can only pause for up to 3 months at a time.
