Peloton wins praise in reviews for motivating, studio-caliber classes, engaging instructors (Cody Rigsby, Alex Toussaint, Robin Arzón), seamless app breadth, and sturdy, smooth hardware that makes at‑home workouts convenient and habit‑forming; however, recurring membership costs are widely criticized, the bike seat comfort and occasional hardware maintenance issues recur, and some find the experience overrated or less effective than live classes. Overall, Peloton is good if you’ll use it consistently and value variety and community, but buyers should weigh subscription demands and ergonomics.

Peloton has changed my relationship with working out. I mainly use the app for workouts and am able to hop on a bike, tread or rower at my gym and use the app that connects to my watch to track my performance. I love the instructors and the music that they play. None of the workouts are ever boring. I have even started meditating with the app which is something I always wanted to do more of before I had the Peloton app!
I got hooked on Peloton when it first got started and would go to the in-person classes in NYC. (Now they have studios in London as well.) I liked the energy of the instructors and the bikes are super smooth to ride. I never got into the hype of buying a bike since they are way over my price point. I still enjoy attending the in-person classes but because of the hype they are super impossible to get into the class. I also was never a groupie of their instructors even though I like them all so it's interesting to see folks travel from all over the world to take a class and line up for pictures after class.
My gripe is the costs. It’s an expensive bike plus a very expensive membership and the screen is locked so you can’t watch shows on it. Which I get might be silly but sometimes I just want to watch tv and ride. Realllly was into it when i first got the bike but now it’s collecting dust….
They just do a great job all around... Will take some time to find the instructors and classes you like but thats no different than it is at a normal gym anyway so certainly not a downside but don't let that part scare you away! Keep at it, they do a great job. Only really have tried the bike programs, not the yoga etc so my comments are limited to that.

Absolutely the best thing in my house. It’s innovative and fun and actually motivates me to use it!

High quality equipment and classes. Very good alternative to live classes.

It seems Peloton was originally known for the bike, but they've expanded not only their hardware (tread, rower), but they have a variety of classes with different types of instructors. If you're looking for quality, convenience, and variety, just the Peloton app subscription alone could be worth it for you. There are instructors for everyone, each with their own style, and you can fit classes into any schedule as they're as short as 10 minutes. They also have programs designed by instructors to get you going whether it's running, boxing, strength, meditation, yoga, and more. Once you find some instructors and classes you like, it's fun to use the "stack" function to build your workout for the day. If music motivates you, they have a ton of really awesome music partnerships.

Peleton knows how great they are right?! Like do I even need to leave a review? First off, Cody Rigsby keeps me coming back. But right behind him is the killer cycle machine. The bike feels high quality and luxe. I also love the swivel screen so I can also do a yoga or strength class. Super versatile! Now if only I could fit one in my NYC apartment! I’ll just have to continue using the bike at my parents house and at work for now 🥲
Great classes. Great instructors. There is something for everyone. It’s not just cycling.
I’ve had my Peloton since 2020, and use it almost everyday. I love the classes, and think the product is high quality. I know others have had their issues, but I’ve never had problems getting in touch with customer service when I need help, and when my Peloton needed a repair they came to my apartment in a timely manner.
I recently got a Peloton and I must say, I'm in love. I've always loved spinning and now I can do it anytime in the comfort of my own home! Having this accessible to me in my house pushes me to make sure I get at least 20 minutes of cycling in a day! I love all the class and game options they have, they even have yoga, meditations, HIIT and more. Absolutely recommend if you can! The downside is the membership monthly fee, but it really isn't that bad at $44 something a month. So far, having a wonderful experience!
I love! My friend is a huge peloton advocate and got me to join. With its class options I look forward to hoping on.
I have been a Peloton customer for many years, after buying right at the start of the pandemic. The bike is generally quite sturdy and feels high quality, the classes are for the most part great, but some instructors are way too much for me. There’s definitely someone for everyone though. Customer service can be hit or miss. I had zero use of the bike for many months because no one would come and fix it despite me having extended warranty. That was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
Its a great indoor workout, I dont dig classes but love the scenic and gudied rides.

I wish I could just sign into my streaming services or youtube to bike/get the metrics while also watching what I want on the screen.
I love Peloton. The bike is easy to adjust, which is important to me because my partner is 8 inches/20 cm taller than me. So I like that I can move the seat nearer to the handlebars and he can move the seat back and even drop the handlebars to workout in the same position he bikes in. I’m not much of a class person but I love Lanebreak. It’s like a game that you play by adjusting your cadence or gears while you listen to a curated playlist.

If you just want an exercise bike, you can find a cheaper one. But the peloton is easy to adjust and has different modes for working out that will meet many people’s needs.
I have been using the Peloton platform since 2017, yes 2017. I started off as a Digital member when one of the only disciplines on the platform was cycling. It wasn't until 2020 that I went all in and purchased the Bike. My bike is now almost 3 years old. With daily use (heavy use), it is still like-new. As someone who has tried every format, class, studio, and exercise company, Peloton is the only platform that I have been this consistent and is part of my every day exercise routine. I added the Tread to my home gym last year and love it just as much as the bike. I absolutely love strength training, so being able to do a combination of strength classes, bootcamps, runs, biking, barre and yoga (and more) is incredible. I never get bored of the classes as they are always constantly adding new content.

I love the versatility and inclusion of Peloton. The instructors are life changing. Find the ones that have messaging/style that resonate with YOU most. no one else. That is how you keep up a healthy movement routine. All of the instructors have their own style, which I love. I change up my workout routine based on what my body and mind need. I also love the flexibility of the app as I travel quite a bit for work and love being able to take the classes on my iPad while I am gone.
So many work outs to choose from. I tend to like in person spin classes better, but we first got a Peloton during covid and it was amazing. Especially when I don't have time for a full work out, Peloton is a go to. I also love their strength classes and they are so easy to filter through based on what you want. I like the on demand classes better than the bike itself, but it's all great!

Like most, I purchased the Peloton Bike+ during the pandemic and quickly became obsessed with it. It was a big investment for me, so it helped keep me motivated to get my money's worth and justify the price tag and monthly subscription. However, after 2 months of use, I started experiencing issues with my bike. It developed a clicking sound when pedaling at high resistance, which made the rides uncomfortable. I reached out to customer support and they decided to replace my bike with a new one. Unfortunately, the new bike had the same issue. They ended up replacing 3 different bikes for me before finally finding one that didn't have the issue. While the experience was frustrating, I have to say that Peloton's customer support was excellent. They were very responsive and went above and beyond to help me out. Overall, I'd recommend Peloton based on their customer support alone.

I honestly love the experience and community that Peloton offers. All the instructors are A+ and so fun to work out with.

The product itself could be built a little better — for something so expensive, it's sometimes tough to adjust the seat height or the handlebars get unstable.
I love the Peloton experience and the community around it. The product is extremely high quality as well as the classes and the app. I liked the fact that they have now a rental service.

It`s not a cheap product and when they have new launches, you kind of feel "should have waited for that". Did not like the launch of the rowing machine, I personally feel there other sports it made sense for them to entry before that.
