I tried one of their sauces on top of our salmon and it MADE the dish - it was so delicious. Would absolutely purchase again.

I LOVE these seasoning packets! It really makes meals quick and easy. The flavors are true to the cultures they're from, since they partner with super talented chefs to develop them. You could just use the packets as a marinade or a sauce, but the website also offers full recipes organized by flavor. The boxes also have helpful cards inside with tips, like which protein would go best with each sauce. I've purchased this as gifts for people, and they've been a hit. They'd make a great housewarming gift for adventurous chefs.

These sauces are delicious! They're so versatile and can be used to make so many different dishes! I really love the new saucy noodles they just dropped!

The packaging is quite beautiful but is nothing compared to the flavors! Loving the various combinations I can make with the packets and is very shelf stable (used a few and then waited awhile before finishing my set). Would make for a great housewarming gift with a new pan or set of dish towels!

For me, Omsom completely transformed my home cooking. Not only did it bring back my favorite Vietnamese dish into my home, but it also brought joy to my quarantine nights. One of the small pleasures during this time has been sharing my Omsom dinner concoctions with my mom, who was, needless to say, impressed! The beauty in Omsom not only lies in its aromatic flavors packed inside easy-to-use kits but the fact that customization is encouraged.

Good flavors, pretty true to the actual Asian flavors they purport to be, which is nice and a bit rare these days. However, you're paying up the wazoo for convenience. It's a nice stepping stone to figuring out how to make these sauces yourself (which actually isn;'t hard to do if you care to step into an asian supermarket)

The noodles are a little bumpy.

Perfectly portioned and ready to go, these single-serve packets eliminate the need for measuring or guessing, making it a breeze to use.

Liked the texted of the noodles but I thought the sauce fell a little flat. I added a lot to it to make it more of a meal and have more flavor/body to it.

I had high hopes for this but unfortunately did not live up to the hype for me! The sauce packets aren't enough to cover the amount of noodles and mixing it with water feels like it's diluting it even though it's part of the instructions to create the meal sauce. Overall the flavors just lacked depth for me and I wouldn't purchase the Garlic Black Pepper Noodles and Soy Garlic Noodles again. Don't feel super inclined to try out the other flavors any time soon as of right now!

I tried one of the at home noodle + sauce packets and the noodles cooked pretty well and were in a good ratio with the amount of sauce provided. Flavors on the sauce were MUCH MUCH milder than I was expecting, but if they're recipe testing for broad mass appeal across the entire US, I get it. I found it pricey for the amount of food you get, and I hope prices improve as they scale....I love the business and brand and supporting female POC founders but will be more hesitant on trying other products.

I got the Coconut Lemongrass Curry and the Garlic Black Pepper flavors from Whole Foods with the Trythings offer. The Coconut Lemongrass was amazing, I knew it would be my favorite but it really didn't disappoint. The Garlic Black Pepper was less great though. I didn't love the texture of the sauce and I thought the flavor was just alright. I think it would have been better if the sauce and the noodles were tossed together over heat on the stove rather than mixed in the bowl like the directions said. Overall I enjoyed eating these, and I would definitely try more flavor and repurchase the Coconut Lemongrass noodles, but I do wish they were just a little less costly.

Omsom is such a fun concept! I love their Larb Sauce, though I do feel like it could use some extra fish sauce and lime. Their customer service is excellent as well.

I personally love making my own sauces but these really get me out of a pinch when I wanna make a quick meal. They taste authentic and don't have an artificial flavor. 10/10 would recommend and buy again :)

This product is amazing! The flavors are so robust and make home cooking restaurant quality. Love that the packets can be added to any protein or vegetables. Extremely high quality - 100% recommended

I gifted an Omsom sampler to a friend who loves to cook and eat and it was such a hit! The dish starters really do create delicious meals, and this is just such a cool brand -- in terms of its founders, its messaging, etc. -- that I really feel excited about supporting. (Also, the samplers make an amazing gift, because the packaging is so colorful and fun!)

I really really wanted to love this. I thought the yuzu misoyaki was overwhelmingly sweet and the larb just tasted like fish sauce and fell flat. Also, if you have a super sensitive nose or have a poorly ventilated kitchen, the larb/lemongrass starters may not be for you (it tastes ok but very funky smelling).
