Omsom earns strong reviews for delivering bold, easy-to-use Asian sauces and saucy noodles that help home cooks achieve flavorful results fast, with highlights like the Yuzu Misoyaki glaze, Larb, Krapow, and chewy noodle texture. Reviews also surface drawbacks: portions run small, several flavors lack depth or skew watery/overly spicy, sauce-to-noodle ratios feel light, and packaging reads single‑use and wasteful—useful to know if authenticity, intensity, or sustainability are priorities.

Super easy to use and delicious! I would never be able to cook Asian dishes on my own but Omsom makes that possible for me.
Omsom is delicious and I love what the brand stands for. The products are incredibly versatile - be sure to check out the 'second menu' for creative ways to use the products.

More flavors!
I love everything about Omsom. From the founder stories and their relationship to food to the partnership with other restaurant mainstays, the brand feels like a party in your pantry. I can turn a bland piece of protein into something exciting and also learn more about another culture.

I think the ratios can be a little hard sometimes. I've had a few instances where I've almost had not enough sauce for my meal and have had to water it down to lose out on taste.

I cook at home quite often, and Omsom packets are one of my favorite innovations in recent memory. The sauce packets all taste great (Larb is my favorite, though is you're sensitive to fish sauce / oyster sauce be mindful of the smell) and they're SO customizable-- I've had them with ground turkey, chicken, tofu, salmon, beef, and more. I recently tried the Garlic Black Pepper Saucy Noodles too and found it to be an easy and delicious meal-- just added some steamed veggies and called it a day.

The packets make them easy to store and use. The sauces are really powerful -as in they pack a punch of flavor- and sometimes I've thinned them with water or stock so their flavor don't overpower the food.
Say goodbye to the hassle of extracting every last bit from the bottle - this pump dispenser makes it a breeze!

The pump dispenser is a game-changer: effortless dispensing down to the very last drop!
The individual packets are so convenient. No measuring or guesswork required.
These sauces truly are a game changer! They make cooking so easy and tasty, and I love how authentic they taste. I used them in a stir-fry, and it was a hit!

White people trying to make asian-fusion food. I had yuzu miso glaze. NO YUZU. NO MISO. just tastes like generic soy, sugar, and maybe some sesame oil. Plus its ultra sweet. I don't even know what I am eating. Definitely not recommended especially with this price tag. Really disappointing
I enjoyed these noodles, they were super easy to make and didn’t take much time or effort. I guess I wish I added veggies or something with it. For me, the portion was big and I probably could’ve split it over 2 meals. The chili sesame definitely had a kick to it

I love Omsom and have been using their sauces for the last two years. I was excited to see they launched the saucy noodles, and they they’re available in store at Whole Foods. I bought two of the Coconut Lemongrass. While they make a quick meal when hot (perfect for when I don’t plan ahead), I made an alternate recipe from their site that I liked even more - noodle salad (the sauce is the dressing) - which requires a little more planning. Love that they give alternate way to use their products. The package is two servings…which seems totally unrealistic, it’s definitely one (unless you’re loading it with other stuff).

I tried the Omsom Saucy Noodles (got it through Thing Testing’s BOGO deal). I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor. As someone who loves Asian food, it was very tasty! I added my own toppings to make the meal more hearty. I have also tried Momofuku’s noodles which honestly have a way worse flavor so that was the direct comparison I was comparing against. Docked off a star because it is pretty expensive per box and I am not sure I would pay full price
The Yuzu Miso glaze is fire
These are yummy, great for a quick and easy small meal- not really filling enough for a full meal imo since there's no protein. Add in egg to make up for it! The noodles are great!
Great flavor profiles! The spicy is spicy so be careful if you’re not into spice. The noodles are a single serving, but SO amazing!! I love the soy garlic & the coconut lemongrass curry was fragrant with layers of flavor. Their individual sauce packets take your meals to the next level and really help in the busy nights or meal prepping!

I love being able to access these Asian/Southeast Asian flavors at home! Knowing the amount of effort needed to make some of these sauces, these packet make it oh so easy and accessible! Love that this introduces a different set of flavors than the usual teriyaki or etc.
Tl;dr much yum fast My household doesn’t know anything about authentic ethnic foods. Let me say that up front. We like flavorful, occasionally very spicy things and get bored easily. Omson sauces have been a super fun addition to our kitchen. It’s not something we can afford to do a lot, but one sauce packet flavors a pound or a pound and a half of protein plus veg. So it goes further than I would have thought. And it makes dishes that I don’t have the pantry to make from scratch. The flavors are bold and crisp—not muddled like some other versions of this that I have tried. And they work equally well with animal and veg proteins. We have used baked tofu, tempeh, whatever meats are on sale, etc. Anything goes if you don’t worry about tradition too much. If Omson says “spicy” you can trust that to be the case. Don’t double up on the packets unless you truly want mouth and lip burning spice. We have given the sauce variety packs as gifts to friends and they have been well received.
The sauces are incredible, I am a big Yuzy and Larb fan to feel like a pro chef in the kitchen. I also love to put on salmon in the airfryer, a pantry staple for me. Plus the brand is co-founded by some incredibly cool and down-to-earth founders, which we love to see.
