OLAPLEX earns polarized reviews: it visibly strengthens and revives bleached or damaged hair—No. 3 Hair Perfector, No. 6 Bond Smoother, No. 7 Bonding Oil, and the 4P Purple Shampoo are frequent standouts—yet many users report dryness, heaviness, or even increased shedding and brittleness if overused. The brand is praised for salon-clean scent, rich lather, and fast toning, but criticized for inconsistent results across hair types and small, hard-to-dispense bottles.

I use the No. 5 and No. 6 and I really enjoy them. The shampoo is moisturizing and also clarifying. I have been using it on and off for over year now and I still have not finished a full bottle. It requires such little product to clean your hair properly. The conditioner is good, but it's not revolutionary, in my opinion. I would definitely recommend the shampoo if you have thinner hair.
I'm a big fan of the N3 and N6 products. They work great in repairing and protecting my hair. I do have the shampoo and condition (N4 & N5). I use these often but not all the time because I found my hair to become rough if using it everyday.
I recently went double process blonde. I still have tons of breakage, but I’m sure it would be worse if my stylist didn’t use Olaplex. He uses No 3 and finishes off with No 9. I use pre-treat my hair with No 0 for 10 minutes at home then go in with No 3 for another 10 minutes. I wish it didn’t have to take so long, but I have to do it. I went through half the bottle of No 0 (I have a lot of hair, plus my hair is porous because of the bleach) my first time using it, which is kind of annoying. There are other brands knocking off Olaplex now, like Redken and L’Oréal. I would be interested to try them, just to feel what the difference is. The Redken is about the same price as Olaplex, and L’Oréal is definitely cheaper.

I use pretty much the whole line of Olaplex products from the shampoo and conditioner to the oil and the masks. I feel like it works really well especially for color treated hair. You really don’t need to use very much of the product at once, so I feel like it lasts a long time and is worth the price. I have blonde hair, and I just use the regular shampoo and conditioner rather than the purple one fyi.
Pricey but so worth it and it does not take much. The No 3 is the OG game changer. I have fried my hair with heat and also bleach it - so this stuff is my holy grail and saving grace. I have tried the shampoo and conditioner in addition to other Olaplex products, but if you are to buy only two musts - it’s the No3 and the bonding oil.
Didn't love it! Has a lot of hype but didn't do much for my hair. I also think it's kind of confusing looking to figure out which would actually be best for you or which numbers to mix. not for me.
As soon as I read the amazing reviews for Olaplex, I was desperate to get my hands on some to try to get my dry, bleached hair back to its former glory. I bought the Olaplex No 0 Bond Builder and the No 3 Hair Perfector, as well as the 4P Blonde Enhancer Toning Shampoo and No5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner. I loved the shampoo and conditioner: the shampoo leaves my hair a lovely purply grey tone and the conditioner really softens my strands. The shampoo doesn't dry hair like a lot of other toning shampoos do. However, the Olaplex No 0 Bond Builder was messy to use and doesn't last long for the price. The No 3 Hair Perfector does seem to strengthen my bleached hair and makes the follicles smooth and flat, and I'm on my third bottle having bought a three pack. At the same time though, when I use any of the Olaplex products I do seem to lose more hair than with other brands and products. Because of that, I don't think I will rebuy once these products are finished.
Look I’ve been at nice hotels and I’ve online shopped after drinking too much so I know good shamp and condish. This is my all time fave. It’s cool looking it smells nice and feels cool. It’s the best. All others are garbage. Sorry classic or trash world and they are on top.

I have N6 and N9 and I love them. They are great for my frizzy hair! I really didn't want to like them because they're fairly expensive, but I can't go back to anything else after using them.
The brand itself has really great products, if you are educated on how to use them properly. I gave 4 stars mainly because of the price, but overall, the products really help if you’re someone who has color treated hair or heat damage. I would think of this line as something you use in moderation, and not something to use everyday.
Good design but not worth the money. It gave me minor rash.
I used this product before at the same Dumbo, Brooklyn apartment of that said person I was dating with the Dr. Jart products. I did use it several times but I found out that this product makes you lose your hair through the Reddit community.

Do not use this product because apparently it makes you lose hair.
Olaplex saved my hair! I have been doing vibrant colors for several years and the constant bleach to my hair has definitely taken a toll. Using olaplex has revived the shine and health to my hair. The nice thing is you dont necessarily need to buy the whole line to reach this either. I started out with the shampoo and conditioner and that was enough to revive my hair's health.

The conditioner is hard to get out of the bottle unless you store upside down. I would love a bottle that squirts from the bottom.

I enjoy olaplex products, specifically the hair masks. My hair feels so soft after using them. I also love the clarifying shampoo
Feedback
The product sized tend to be on the small side, especially for the price. Overall it’s an effective product so I think it’s still worth the price.
Huge user of the oil for my bleached and dyed hair. Olaplex absolutely saved the texture of my hair.
I use #6, #7 and also #4P occasionally (purple shampoo). I love using #6/7 together (I mix a dime size of 6 with a few drops of 7) after I towel dry hair in a turban. It makes my hair so so soft! Also #4P is pretty good but I do not use it that often. I only wash my (silver/grey) hair 2-3 times a week and probably use 4P once a week. It's good but I think my favorite purple shampoo may still be Fanola but this is a close second. Buying the other products is a bit out of budget for me but I decided to splurge on these to get the most bang for my buck and I do love them. Maybe one day I will get the shampoo and conditioner too.

Definitely recommend #6 and #7 to be used together!
I hate to be this person, but I always pick this up thinking it will change my hair and have no luck. I’ve used No. 3 a few different times with limited results. I have very curly hair, so that may be why I don’t see the same results as others.

Too expensive to use consistently.
I see this constantly replaced in my bathroom all the time i think it must be really good
The hair mask is absolutely delightful for my scalp and dead ends. I think that the product is pricy, but worth it. I do think the OUIA hair mask is a slightly cheaper stand in, but the container the Olaplex comes in is better for dispensing.
A little product goes a long way and a must to have in my haircare routine. I don't use it with every wash but I cycle it in for protein.
