Reviews mention

  • Chic minimalist packaging aesthetics
  • Spa-like eucalyptus body wash
  • Quick-absorbing hydrating serum
  • Gentle, sensitive-skin-friendly formulas
  • Inconsistent deodorant odor control
  • Lightweight lotion hydration level
  • Occasional faulty pump packaging
  • Divisive, inconsistent scent profiles

Necessaire earns mixed-to-positive reviews: the brand delivers sensorial, spa-like body care—especially Eucalyptus and Sandalwood Body Washes, the Body Exfoliator, Body Serum, select deodorants, and a well-loved mineral Sunscreen—yet several reviewers find formulas average for the hype and small sizes. Strengths include chic, functional packaging, gentle options for sensitive skin, and standout scents; weaknesses surface around inconsistent deodorant efficacy/irritation, lotion and serum being light for very dry skin, occasional faulty pumps or hard-to-empty tubes, and scents (celery/oregano notes, weak longevity) not pleasing everyone.

  • I recently upgraded to Necessaire's body wash and absolutely love it. The smell is so luxurious but not too strong. The scents are more on the unisex side, which I like. The body wash leaves me feeling clean and moisturized. I love the Santal and the Eucalyptus. Their Body Wash exploratory pack is a great gift to give as well.

  • I’ve been loving Nécessaire—the body wash and lotion feel so luxe but still super clean. The scents are subtle and fresh, and my skin feels way more hydrated and calm. It really makes my routine feel like self-care instead of a chore.

  • Necessaire offers the absolutely best body products in the clean market! I have sensitive skin and have never had issues with the lotions or body washes. The eucalyptus scent will always be my favorite.

  • Love this line! I use the hand cream nightly and I love that it is in a metal tube and not plastic. I am branching out into the shampoo and conditioner next, but based on my experience I know it will be a good product. The hand cream doesn't have a smell, and I can definitely tell a difference between it and using a basic brand hand cream.

  • The body lotion product is literally the richest creepiest body lotion that I have ever tried. It leaves my skin feeling so hydrated especially considering that I have such chronically dry skin especially in the winter

  • To say I used my body wash to the fullest is an understatement. I rinsed that bottle until it was completely gone. I really loved the consistency of the wash and left my skin feeling hydrated. The price is not the easiest sell for something you use so much. However I can justify it for how great the quality is.

  • Tried the Necessaire body oil on my legs. I loved the smell and the glow it gave my friends. After applying, I got extremely itchy and red all over my legs. Definitely allergy to this product & applying a patch test was not specified on the product label.

  • I use Nécessaire The Sunscreen Mineral SPF 30. I have the 50ml one, I think I received it in a beauty box, so I can't find the price online, but I know their 150ml cost $45 which I find quite expensive for sunscreen. On the skin, it feels substantial - like, I can feel it on when I'm wearing it and I would not consider it lightweight. Doesn't really bother me and it makes me feel like it's actually working. The packaging is nice, not exactly travel-friendly because it's so chunky. As well, the amount that the pump dispenses is a bit too much for me, so I have to be careful to not over-pump. Kind of feels like a tactic to use more than Nécessaire... :) Overall I would not buy it again because I find the pump and bottle shape annoying.

  • After medication made me begin to shed hair I did some research and discovered Necessaire scalp serum, and rosemary shampoo. The shampoo smells delicious, and has a rich luxurious lather. The serum is easy to apply and isn't greasy at all. Great products for those on medications, or going through menopause related hair thinning.

  • Love the body wash and body retinol. The body wash leaves my skin feeling clean but not dried out. I like that it is a gel and there are no harsh chemicals.

  • The eucalyptus smells divine and love the exfoliator. Doesn’t feel too harsh on sensitive skin.

  • Love the simplicity of this line's products. All have been great quality and smell fantastic. Very curious about trying their hair care next.

  • washes off nicely, doesn't leave any residue but the scents could be stronger

  • I really enjoyed their body wash, but at the end of the day, I didn't enjoy it enough to use it over my Native one ($10 vs. Necessaire's $25). Great stuff that also looks super nice on a shower shelf! Definitely worth a shot :)

  • i really love how the body wash doesn’t leave my body feel stripped of oils after a shower. the eucalyptus scent is really nice but doesn’t linger much longer after the shower. the hand cream is really great. super moisturizing and absorbs right away so you’re not left with a sticky feeling

  • I love all of the Necessaire products - body wash, lotion, serum, deodorant - They are luxury versions of everyday products and they certainly feel like it. Everything works well - I'm clean and smell nice. I personally love the smell; it's light but fresh and warm. They also make for great gifts for friends and loved ones.

  • Their body wash and lotion are amazing. I have the eucalyptus and it smells heavenly and super clean. The body wash is not stripping and the body lotion does its job!

  • The body wash smells amazing but I think overall everything is a bit pricey for what it is. I have the body wash, the lotion, and the hand crème. I wouldn’t bother with the lotion again but the body wash scent is delightful and suds well. The hand lotion is thick and fragrance free which makes it great for all day use

  • Always smells so good! The body wash lasts longer than expected and the packaging is so aesthetically pleasing.
