MERIT earns strong reviews as a minimalist, “your-skin-but-better” line that blends easily, flatters a natural look, and suits sensitive skin, with standouts like the Minimalist Complexion Stick, Flush Balm blushes, Day Glow highlighter, Bronze Balm, Clean Lash mascara, and Shade Slick lip oils. Reviews also flag weaknesses: color products that fade quickly, sheer coverage that won’t satisfy full-coverage users, packaging issues (sticks breaking, messy pumps, mascara cap stickiness), occasional dryness/creasing on textured or dry skin, and inconsistent shade matches for some complexions.

This is hands down the best blush I've ever used. Hands down. I have the blush dome in the colour Beverly Hills and it is the perfect natural shade. It's dewy but not shiny, super easy to apply and blends like an absolute dream. Perfect for the cold girl makeup trend or looking like you just went on vacation. I also love the environmentally friendly brand focus and cleaner ingredients. I may never use another blush ever again.

Only thing that could have been better is having more colour options.
I have tried the foundation/concealer stick, 3 blushes, a lip oil, a lipstick and the foundation brush from Merit, and have had a positive experience with all of them. The foundation stick is my go-to, it's an awesome color match for my olive skin and it lasts all day. The lip oil isn't sticky and feels hydrating. I'd like to try their bronzing sticks next. I love the blush colors, however the color fades quickly though it may just need a few layers.

Increase color ranges in the blush and lip items. Create foundation for different types of skin (i.e. a dewy range vs a matte range). Color doesn't last long with the blushes.
Really impressed with this brand and the overall quality of the products, especially for the price. I've tried the concealer, lip gloss, and blush. I also bought the highlighter for a friend who was getting married! The brand sends a beautiful bag with your first order that can be a makeup bag or clutch. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for that easy, natural look.

Would love to see them expand to more products!
I haven't used the blush or concealers - which seem to be well rated - but I didn't love the brow pomade or mascara. I am pretty lucky with a healthy set of lashes and pretty thick brows so maybe these products are quite right for me. The mascara did darken my lashes but didn't do much to thicken or lengthen them. The pomade doesn't seem very strong and didn't give me a good hold for even a few hours, let alone all-day wear. The tint is probably nice if you have lighter or more sparse eyebrows but again, not really something I need. Packaging is beautiful and the brown bag sent with the first order is super cute! Would be open to trying their other products, just didn't love the two I bought. They did have a super friendly customer support team and made it really easy to return :)
Always, always, always have the foundation stick in my bag! Great branding too.
I love love the Merit packaging; it feels luxurious and... adult? In a way many of the more playful beauty brands do not. Their social media is fun and their products are good, especially their highlighter

I don’t understand the hype on this brand. Their makeup doesn’t stay on your face, the concealer stick is cakey. The blush literally stays on for 15-20 mins that’s it. I’ve purchased the bronzer, blush and concealer hoping to like it but was disappointed each time.
Great luxurious feeling makeup! Two of my favorite products are the new sheer lip liners & the cream blushes! They go on so smooth and are foolproof, especially for someone who doesn’t wear much makeup! The packaging is beautiful and the ingredients are clean.

Love the Merit lip oil. The color looks fab and it feels nice on the lips. HOWEVER, the staying power is not there and the price point is high considering how many alternatives there are on the market right now.

Merit has such an elegant and minimal look. I have tried their bronzer and their blush and they are perfect for a quick application that always blends beautifully. My all-time favorite blush is Stockholm; it's the prettiest baby pink. I'm looking forward to trying more products!
I got one of their lipstick "Tiger" when I visited NY, and I loved it. It has great coverage and feels great. I'm sad that I didn't find it available in stores in Europe. The only flaw is that it broke just before the end and it's a bit annoying to use now, but other than that it's great!
I got the merit foundation stick and it’s my new favorite. I’m not a makeup person, always struggled finding the right shade, and I rarely wear foundation (only occasions). I breakout quick and I forget to take it all off at night sooo 🙄 I do however, use pressed powder that slightly hides my dark spots and stuff - no make up, make up look to the T. Merit came through for me with the perfect shade match and literally what I need for that “no make up” look. It doesn’t look like I have any make up, but rather makes me look like a clean/blemish free (dark spots, acne spots) face. The two issues I have with it is that it makes my pores super visible when I didn’t use primer. When I did use primer, it was less obvious. Second, is that for $38 (Sephora) you don’t get that much product. I get it it’s for a minimal look but $38 for that little?? It hurt my soul when the charge hit my bank account
MERIT does not release bad products. At all. If a MERIT product does not work for you, then it is either your skin prep; your skin type/concerns; or the make-up was just not what you were looking for... but MERIT delivers exactly what the product descriptions are. I don't think you could go wrong with purchasing a set from MERIT, not to mention the cute bag that comes with your first online order. I don't personally love the packaging of their blushes and haven't tried the entire product line as I don't see a need for their products, but MERIT really focuses on minimalistic beauty - including even shades. There isn't a lot of "fun" colors going around with this brand, but if you don't need that, this is a great brand for you, and you are in their target audience. I have combination skin and find that the foundation stick works best for me in non-dry seasons (so, any time of the year besides winter) and with a damp beauty blender (as opposed to their brush, although the brush works great with other products).
I love my Merit beauty line, it is easy to use and compact for traveling. I only give it 4 stars because after a plane ride in the summer my perfecting complexion stick must've melted in the overhead bin because when I opened it up to use the product fell out of the tube onto the hotel floor and I had to trash it. I had only used it once prior to flying with it. The blushes and bronzing stick are so smooth and nice and blend easily. The highlighter could use more pigmentation and I find I supplement with another highlighter often. Overall I would recommend though, as someone with sensitive skin it works really well for me.
I would buy the lip oil in every single shade. Their products feel great, don’t clog my pores, and help me feel confident in minimal makeup. Plus, the bags they give with online orders are super cute!

In a word, OBSESSED. Every MERIT product I've tried has been perfect. I've used the multi-stick, blush, lipstick, lipliner, brow pomade, eyeshadow, and mascara. If I had to choose one makeup line for the rest of my life, this is the one I'm choosing. The multi-stick is light and buildable, so I can use it as a concealer or all over foundation. The blush blends in seamlessly. The lipliner glides on easily, and the lipstick is buildable for a light wash or a dark flush of colour. I tried the clear pomade, but I look forward to trying the coloured product. It gave my eyebrows shape and definition without flaking. The eyeshadows are a cream to powder formula that keep my eyelids from looking greasy like they often do with cream shadows. The mascara separates and coast each lash well without requiring me to comb them out like I usually do. I promise I was not paid or gifted anything for this, I just love the product!
I use their bronzer and blush every single day. As a college student I need something fast and this is so easy to apply.

I'm not normally a fan of "skincare" from makeup brands, but the Good Skin serum is the perfect base for makeup. I checked the ingredients to ensure it would be safe for my acne-prone skin and it is- been using for a couple weeks so far and no breakouts or congestion woo!
Currently using the Instant Glow Serum in my skincare routine. I like the combination of hyaluronic acid & niacinamide as the active ingredients, as I find it balances out my vitamin C serum in the AMs and my retinol serum in the PM to "round out" my routine with maximum benefits and products that work well together. It's in between a toner and an oil consistency-wise, with no smell. It applies well under makeup and doesn't pill. However I do not like the pump bottle that the serum comes in as I can tell once I use up enough of it it's going to be a problem to try to get the rest to come out easily. Not sure if I would repurchase, but I like it now in the moment and recommend it to people with normal to dry skin types.
I love the skin oil at bedtime after I wash my face with my other nighttime products. I have oily skin and the skin oil actually keeps me balanced.
