One of my favourite clean makeup brands in terms of pigmentation and wear! These products layer really nice, are super blendable and are very long lasting. Super luxe formulas - but a little pricey for the sizes! Wish they came with more product <3

Amazing brand. I absolutely love the fact that everything is creamy and hydrating. The colours are beautiful as well. If your looking for an easy 5 minute makeup routine, Merit is worth it. 

Merit Beauty touts minimalist beauty with skincare benefits that is Clean at Sephora compliant, vegan, and cruelty free. The result is luxuriously packaged cleangirl beauty that doesn't quite have as much staying power as non-clean brands that are going more for performance than environmental friendliness. Here are some products I've tried from them:

My favorite: The Minimalist in Linen
Not quite a foundation and not quite a concealer, this is the creamiest, most versatile complexion stick that blends seamlessly onto my light-neutral skin. This is super easy to use, stays put more than their other color cosmetics, and doesn't move all over the place even though I'm 37 with aging skin around the eyes.

Shade Slick in Pink Beet
This gives that ~clean girl~ put together aesthetic without any of the try hard. I keep this in my purse whenever I go to work as it’s easy to travel with and easy to apply. 

Flush Balm Cheek Color in Cheeky
This balm blush is my absolute favorite color but it’s not the most long-lasting blush I’ve ever used. It looks super natural and it's easy to build so I don't go overboard on the first application. Definitely use setting spray to increase the wear.

I loved working with Merit. They’re team had great communication and the products were amazing. They also offered an affiliate program for content creators. 

I love the simplicity of the routine, Merit reminds me of an elevated version of Glossier. I was originally attracted to this brand because of its clean beauty label. A lot of their products, like the blush and concealer, are cream-based and they work really well for my dry skin.

I do wish, however, since they are considered a clean beauty brand, that their products were sustainable too. I mean, part of their motto is that they're safe for the planet  The packaging is very luxurious but I feel wasteful when I get down to the end of my container. The blush in particular, which has been my go-to for 2 years now, had at least another two month's worth of application at the bottom of the container which I could not get to.  I had to take pliers to break the container to get to the bottom of the blush.When I reached out to customer service about this, they recommended that I use a q-tip to get the remaining product, but that just put cotton fibers into the product.

The blush is freaking amazing. By far, better than rare beauty or any of the mainstream ones. There's so much product in that little thing and the blend is insane. Very high quality and worth the investment. The lip oil is like any other and I haven't tried the other products but OMG GET THE BLUSH.

All merit products are perfect to get that no-makeup makeup look. My personal favourite is the minimalist perfecting stick in the shade cream. It offers the best coverage while looking like natural skin!

All of Merit's products feel luxurious. I like that many of them are multi-purpose. I travel a lot and take the bronze balm and highlighter stick everywhere I go. The Glow Serum is amazing and makes my skin look dewy and fresh. I'm giving it a 4 only because I find the highlighter doesn't last as long as some that I've used. But all the products are super blendable and glide on easily.  Great for older skin. 

Merit has such an elegant and minimal look. I have tried their bronzer and their blush and they are perfect for a quick application that always blends beautifully. My all-time favorite blush is Stockholm; it's the prettiest baby pink. I'm looking forward to trying more products! 

I purchased Merit about one year ago and my face and skin have improved since I started using this makeup! People have commented to me and asked me what I’ve done and why my skin looks so great. I really believe that this make up has not caused me any breakouts and that is very unusual for my sensitive skin. I have gotten so used to having this sheer look it is very freeing and it does make a big difference after I’ve turned 50 to be able to just, put on their amazing skin oil a little bit of blush some mascara and go out most people. Don’t believe that I’m 50 when I put this minimal amount of make up on I don’t think I’ll ever deviate from this brand. I have a few products I use outside of this, but  my basic kit that I started with I still have and as much as I want to keep adding to it, I want to use the stuff that I started with before I start adding to it because I love everything I have so much it’s lasted way longer than I expected it to as well! I have used many makeup brands over my years of struggling with cystic acne through my teen years through my two pregnancies (finding out in my 30’s that I was suffering from endometriosis and pcos). I finally have the skin I wanted my whole life due to a combination of a great face routine, good skincare habits, early menopause (due to a hysterectomy at age 40), and makeup that is great for my skin instead of harmful!!! I am a counselor and many of my patients have been asking me what I have done differently and then I end up telling them about this makeup line…I feel like I should work for the company after sending so many people their way 😂. No, but what I do feel is important is whatever you, the person, wants to do for yourself to feel good. Not everyone cares about makeup or skincare and if that is not your self-care thing, by all means spend your money on bowling or video games to get your downtime to recharge and do what you love to do! I have always loved makeup and skincare and my way of self-care is to pamper myself with extra time in the shower and with hair care and face things. It is emotionally difficult work hearing other people’s issues so I choose to take care of my skin the best I know how to within my means. Merit has won my allegiance for life❤️

I am on my third minimalist stick, has a really natural finish I love and blends super nice. Their bronzer is very light and natural as well, I use it for both contouring and bronzing. obsessed

The best part of the products is the brown corduroy clutch bag it comes in. I tried the blush and the color was great. Definitely is a strong pigment. Just didn’t rub in so well.

Obsessed. Have tried their lipstick and lip oil products so far, and they are some of the best on the market. Pigment is great, long lasting, glides on easily. Definitely a new favorite, and it's also a great gift idea. Because of how high quality the lip products turned out to be, I'll definitely be trying some of their other products like the foundation stick and mascara. 

I have purchased the brow pomade "Brow 1980" and "The Minimalist" complexion stick. I love the brow pomade tint and texture. It always makes my brows pop! It is easy to apply and has a sleek minimalist packaging. I also love the complexion stick and recently purchased the brush so that I can better apply it to my face. 

One thing I wish they did was re-release the black bag that they give out with your first purchase or have that as an add on!
