MERIT earns strong reviews as a minimalist, “your-skin-but-better” line that blends easily, flatters a natural look, and suits sensitive skin, with standouts like the Minimalist Complexion Stick, Flush Balm blushes, Day Glow highlighter, Bronze Balm, Clean Lash mascara, and Shade Slick lip oils. Reviews also flag weaknesses: color products that fade quickly, sheer coverage that won’t satisfy full-coverage users, packaging issues (sticks breaking, messy pumps, mascara cap stickiness), occasional dryness/creasing on textured or dry skin, and inconsistent shade matches for some complexions.

Probably my favourite beauty brand. I love the formulations and the designs of the product. Just feels really luxurious to use. The Merit Great Skin is a serum I am always repurchasing!
This brand is a dupe for Westman Atelier. Hence I don’t appreciate their morals. A big NO!

FAVE MAKEUP!! It so easy to use for someone who knows nothing about make up like me. The packaging is also beautiful and it feels luxurious
Have loved every product I have tried. Sustainable, clean makeup. Very natural looking. If you’re wanting lots of coverage this isn’t the brand for you.
Have tried many of their products (complexion stick, flush balm, lip sticks, etc.) and really enjoyed most of them. As a dark skinned girl, I was skeptical of "no-makeup makeup" brands because often times their products aren't pigmented enough to show up on my skin - however, this brand surprised me positively with how pigmented, yet natural looking they are. I use the flush balm (in mood) as part of my regular makeup routine. I wanted to use the complexion stick in umber as a contour stick for me, but it was just a tad too light for contour on my skin, but I do love the feel/texture of the product and want to get it in a true skin-match shade to use as a light concealer / touch-up!
If MERIT has a million fans, I'm one of them. If MERIT has one fan, then it's me. If MERIT has no fans, it means I'm dead. Their tinted lip oil gives me life and their flush balm cream blush is part of my daily rotation. So lightweight, easy, and the perfect color pay off.

I love the foundation stick and purchased one for my mom as well! It’s so nice to be able to throw in my purse. The coverage is great for quick touch ups, covering blemishes, or for a full face. The shade range is great too!
I have three of the Merit blushes and they are so nice and quite pigmented as well. They are also pretty easy to blend in to skin or with other make up on too. The colors look very nice on. I recommend their blushes!
Every product is perfect
I was using the The Minimalist - PERFECTING COMPLEXION STICK and one day the product itself went, *bloop*, out of the packaging it goes. I like this stick for its easy to blend formula but didn't love that it broke within the package. This may be a fluke but slightly disappointed that I couldn't use this product for longer than 6 months. Brush No. 1 is a great blending brush that is easy to travel with.
As someone with a busy schedule and needing to get up at the crack of dawn, I love a "quick swipe" style of make-up. Merit has this locked down! The complexion stick is one of my absolute faves on a minimal make-up day as well as the blush, lip oil, and brow gel. That's really all you need to not look like a zombie! My only knock would be the mascara. As someone with straight, short Asian lashes, it really doesn't do much for me. But I love everything else enough to still give them 5/5!
I love the blush, it's ligthweight and so pretty on the skin.
I have their perfecting stick. The color match for me is good and I do like the product but if I have any dry areas, it definitely highlights them.
MERIT is my favorite makeup brand! I use the concealer/foundation every time I use makeup. I tried their lipgloss and didn't like it but the brush and the concealer/foundation are amazing.
I have the Merit lip oil in the color sangria. While I adore the color the formula is a bit thin for my liking and not as moisturising as I would hope.
I’ve so far tried the red lipstick which apparently suits everyone and the brow gel. The brow gel isn’t really doing it for me. It’s quick and they look better but I prefer a darker and more precise brow. The lipstick is nice, good colour and has some staying power but it’s not as wearable day to day as I’d thought. They came with a free makeup bag that I didn’t like and was useless. Id be keen to try a couple of other products as I like the idea of a 5 minute face.
obsessed beyond with their stuff. the blush us so good and I never use blush. also adore the bronzer stick!
I have the glow serum and think the packaging can be improved. When I pump to dispense it splatters and has oil drip down the side of the bottle leaving rings on surfaces. But overall do enjoy the serum.
Have tried many Merit products and they are slowly replacing a lot of my makeup products. The Shade Slick in Sangria is the perfect deep berry color I’ve been looking for without looking silly on my paler skin. At first I did not like the complexion stick, but it has grown on me. The blending brush is the real hero there. I’ve also been using the serum and I can’t totally tell if it’s doing anything, but my skin does look and feel nice after using it! I basically feel like I’ve graduated from my Glossier products and am now replacing it all with Merit.
