Bought this for my wedding and it is so nice on and a great color (pointelle). It doesn’t last that long on me, but as a lip oil I wasn’t expecting long wear. Would recommend especially for dry lips!!

After working from home, I've cut down my make up routine a lot, but want to still be put together when doing kid drop off and pick up. Merit is the perfect solution as I can still look polished but not overdone. The intro set allowed me to try multiple of Merit's products - the foundation/concealer stick, lip gloss, liner, bronzer and blush. It was also easy to apply with or without a make up brush as it's pretty forgiving. Great make up for on the go and comes with a cute bag for first orders off their website. Personally as an oily girl, I would say this wouldn't hold up to a night out or a whole in-office work day, but that's just my skin. Out of all the products, I really loved the blush. It's easy to use and blend and with such pretty colors - it was really hard to choose but I ended up with Cheeky. A great just-worked-out flush and not looking too artificial. My second favorite is the shade slick in pointelle, which worked well with the lip liner in coupe. I also appreciate the foundation/concealer stick, I think it would be great for touch up. Personally I didn't care for the brush, but it came with the set. They also have skincare, and I got the great skin double cleanse. Love how it made my skin feel - clean but not too drying. Overall, very happy with my purchase and would consider for gifting!

I'm a fan of Merit beauty products. I've been using them for the past few years and have found it to be simple, easy to use/blend, and at an "ok" price point. I've tried the majority of the products, and my go to's are: - Flush Balm: yes, I know it doesn't last throughout the day, but I love how easy to blend with your fingers. And the colors are stellar. - Merit Shade Slick: this gives me the perfect pigmented lip, without stickiness or weird aftertaste. It keeps the color for eyes. - Merit Brow Gel: yes, there are lots of brow gels that can do the trick, but something about this one is higher-tier. - Merit Great Skin Double-Cleanse: I just started using this product, but think it's great because it cleans off makeup/SPF very well and doesn't strip the skin because it is part oil-cleanser. One thing I love is that they label whether their makeup is cool or warm toned. Surprisingly, that can be hard to find! I feel less enthusiastic about items like the mascara (too subtle), the Uniform SPF tinted moisturizer (too drying). They definitely have products that don't resonate with me as much, especially in comparison of price.

I hadn’t tried anything from merit since they launched in 2021 and they have really expanded their options since then. Firstly I love the little makeup bag that comes free with first purchase when you order directly from the merit website. It’s very well made compared to many free makeup bags you receive with purchase. Secondly all the products I tried worked well for me which rarely happens. The formula on ALL of them is buttery, and smooth with no stickiness. The colors I picked were also true to the online descriptions and images. Im very pale with neutral undertones and I usually find products that look perfectly pink in the online photos lean unflattering and orangey on me. The lipliner in coup is cool pink perfection. The gloss is subtle and hydrating. It’s definitely not a y2k type gloss that you can see poppin from a mile away but it also isn’t sticky or gloopy which makes it perfect for every day wear. My only complaint is about the perfume. Retrospect is a beautiful subtle clean skin scent that seems like it would truly be appropriate to wear in any setting. I really wish I had just bought a full size bottle of it. Unfortunately I bought the smaller size which I realized after opening its only a 9.5ml (industry standard is *usually* 10ml) I have hundreds from many different brands and all are 10ml. The bottle is both shorter and thinner than any of my other travel sizes. It’s a small thing and doesn’t make my rating go down at all but I do think it was an odd choice.

This review comes from my wife: As a busy mom of two, and someone who has always preferred a more natural look, makeup is usually one of the first things to be cut out of my routine when I'm low on time. However, the Merit 5 Minute Morning actually has me looking forward to putting a little bit of makeup on. I love the idea of being able to feel like a more polished version of myself in just (actually) 5 minutes. I've never been good at makeup, but I feel like these products are really forgiving in that regard. In the kit, you can find: -The Minimalist Perfection Complexion Stick (I've always hated foundation because it's such a full look; this is like a more blendable, more versatile concealer that also has some foundation coverage powers), -Flush Balm cheek color (there are so many pretty shades, and they give off such a natural blush), -Day Glow (gives that dewy look), -Brush No. 1 blending brush (so easy to use and works seamlessly with the complexion stick), -Clean Lash (I previously used Ilia.. this might be my new favorite mascara), and -Brow 1980 volumizing pomade (gives a soft, fuller look to eye brows) These products have made it so that almost all the rest of my makeup is collecting dust. My Merit products are my go to when I want to look like a more polished (or sometimes, even a little glammed up), put together version of myself.

The branding is what originally sold me, their packaging is so gorgeous and aesthetic, I mostly wanted it for my bathroom counter. But then I tried to products and was blown away. I love the pigment in the blush and the gloss. The brush is sooo soft and blends great. And the concealer stick is super creamy and so far it hasn't creased too much! Overall, I am loving my new products and can't wait to explore more of their products! Very curious about the skin care.

Love merit products. I appreciate the ability to keep my beauty routine minimal and I use the concealer stick, bronzer, and highlighter, and lip gloss. All of the products work so well and feel great on my skin -- they don't feel heavy or cakey, and they clean off easily with my face wash at the end of the day.

I love merit products. They’re at a luxury price point, but the formulas and packaging match that. My favorites have been the lip oils, they have sheer and color options. They’re light, non sticky, and you don’t need a mirror to apply on the go!

I've been using Merit products for the past 7-8 months! I saw a lot of posts about the brand on socials and was sucked in by the minimal branding and beautiful packaging. The products arrived beautifully packed and I felt so elegant unboxing them. I have a darker complexion so I was hesitant to buy the Complexion Stick Foundation online but I trusted the online shade finder and to my delight found a perfect match!! The Complexion Stick Foundation has been an absolute game changer in my routine. If you're like me and ofter find little drips on foundation on your clothes please please please try a foundation stick. No more ruined clothes, it's soooo easy and fun to draw foundation on my skin with a stick. I find this foundation really easy to blend in with a brush and it gives me a really natural finish "your skin but better look". At the beginning I found the stick a little hard to use and found that it was really highlighting textures in my skin that I wasn't trying to highlight, I also felt it made me look quite shiny during the humid summer months. After a little trial and error I've found a good way to prime and set my face when i'm using the complexion stick. I've also received several compliments from friends saying my skin is "glowing" when I wear the foundation. I also purchased the Flush Balm (Persimmon) and Tinted Lip Oil (Cara Cara), I love the colours of both these products on my skin but I find neither product has much staying power which is a bummer. The blush is so fun to apply so I find myself coming back to it but I don't think i'll repurchase. I've just finished my Complexion Stick Foundation and have repurchase it. I also bought one for my mum! If you're someone that's looking for full coverage make-up this probably isn't the brand for you! If you like a more natural look with products that slightly enhance your skin - you'll likely vibe with Merit! p.s. the little make-up bag is such a nice touch! It's so easy to throw into any bag and makes me feel very chic!

If you are minimal and want the no make up look, then this is your brand. The owner truly made a 5 minute routine - I have almost the product line, one of everything really good. I love the blushes they blend so easily, the routine is easy, simple and minimal quality ingredients . Perfect for a minimalist !

I don't wear a ton of makeup and don't tend to buy non-drugstore products (mostly because they feel wasted on me for not totally knowing what I'm doing!). Merit makes me reconsider that. I picked up the Shade Slick Tinted Lip Oil in Taupe about two years ago as an impulse purchase right before I checked out, and immediately upon using it felt like an elevated version of myself. It's the perfect subtle warm terra cotta-y brown. Things I love about it: it doesn't feel sticky AT ALL; it's buildable; it goes on nicely over matte or less shiny lip products; and, perhaps most importantly for me, you can apply it without looking in the mirror! It's also pretty hydrating — as someone who usually carries Aquaphor with me at all times, I have occasionally left the house with just this lip oil and no backup. I wouldn't say it's the most long-lasting product out there, and I tend to reapply it quite often — but that might partly be because it's so easy to do that on the go. Usually I love finishing products because it's an excuse to switch it up and try something new, but when I lost this, I immediately repurchased it, and when I finished that, I went right back! I can't wait to try the rest of the line, but in the meantime, will definitely repurchase this.

I finally tried Merit’s Shade Slick tinted lip oil and I get the hype. It’s that perfect in-between of a gloss and a balm — juicy, hydrating, and never sticky. The colors are super wearable (sheer but buildable), and it gives that effortless “your lips but better” vibe. What I love most is how comfortable it feels — it actually nourishes instead of drying out like so many glosses. I’ve been keeping one in my bag because it’s literally foolproof; swipe it on and instantly look pulled together. It’s that everyday, minimal-luxe product you’ll keep reaching for without even thinking about it.

I have tried the Shade Slick Hydrating Lip Oils and absolutely love them! My favorite color is the shade Sangria, which is lovely on its own but also layers well over lipstick. The non-sticky texture is great, and I appreciate how there is a shade for everyone. I ended up gifting my friend the Marrakech color as well.

I really love Merit products. I think they have high quality formulas and great colors with strong performance. I like that they don't have a million products and they're a brand that is easy to shop. The simple but classy packaging is also great. For friends who want to wear a little more makeup and look put together without putting in a ton of effort (or spending a lot) I recommend Merit all the time. When I do a 3-minute face it's mostly Merit products and I definitely always pack them to travel.

I initially really liked this brand but the make up caused my skin to react very badly. Mostly around the most sensitive areas around my face such as my eyes. I like the blush and the lips but would not get any of their other products.

I have the merit brush, bronze balm and lip oil in marrakech. I used the bronze balm as a contour stick for a while because I prefer something sheer and buildable for contour instead of anything too harsh. Loved it for a while but realized it’s a bit too warm-toned for contour. I use the brush the blend it out and it works great. The lip oil no complaints, it has a nice texture but I prefer the kosas lip oil so wont be repurchasing.
