I purchased a basic cotton t-shirt from them and I love it! It is really high quality and also breathable. Simple cotton basics that are great. Easy to wash and care for.

I love Kotn! Everything from their sustainable & positive impact and mission, to the design and quality of their products. Ive bought a number of basics over the years and all have out-lasted other garments in my wardrobe. They release things slowly, don't just follow trends, and within Canada I've always lived in a city with a store and experienced quick and nice shipping. Only critique is Id love an option to skip the tote bag on online orders, as the last thing I need is more canvas totes.

I recently bought their 100% egyptian cotton crew socks and they have the softest and thickest material ever! It feels like I'm walking on clouds when I'm at home. They are perfect for harsh canadian winters as they keep my feet extra warm 🤎

***Hit-or-Miss - Quality Control is Inconsistent, so is Sizing*** updated 4.9.2024 Since I liked the bargain-basement (cheaper) sample sale items, I purchased some 'sale' stuff - crew t-shirts on sale. The weird thing is their sizing sucks and is inconsistent. I bought a Women's L (fit more like M) in 3 colours. Washed cold, air-dried, and 1 of the shirts shrunk to an inexplicably small size (fits more like S/M) so I had to give it to a friend. I sent an email to customer service and they refunded me, however, the quality of the cotton is clearly not preshrunk/treated; and the material behaves differently based upon dye lot. Based upon allll of this headache, I would honestly not purchase again at full-price OR sale. The company has 'cute values' that the average Zillenial or 'ethical shopper' enjoys, but the quality is NOT it. Wow, I miss American Apparel (RIP Gildan), LA Apparel is decent but without full funding of yore, the materials (or proprietary fabric blends) aren't the same. That being said, LA Apparel at least has quality control. (And no, I am not going to buy Hanes. Sorry.) And, no, I would not recommend buying Kotn at a resale site, that is absolutely not worth it . -----old review---- ** It's Only Worth It If You Bought It At The Sample Sale** I bought a bunch of t-shirts from a sample sale. Different women's styles - a boxy crew t-shirt, a fitted baby-t style shirt, and some 2XL unisex (men's) sizes. I generally really like the smoothness of their Egyptian cotton. I noticed on one t-shirt the seams weren't sewn great, but it *was* sample sale quality. I can't really complain, as the prices were great. I don't know if I would pay full price for any of their product, as I there seems to be inconsistency (as people report) on sizing or on wash/wear (maybe this is a quality issue they have worked out by now?), although I don't have any complaints on wash/wear or shrinkage at the moment. The brand offers a lot of different styles/products, but doesn't seem to have a coherent or more tightly edited brand look/feel (other than great cotton basics). (i.e. the weird trouser pants are confusing, and the more 'fashion-y' stuff is odd to me). I probably would not purchase anything other than basics (t-shirts, etc.) I would want to see a distinctive range of unique/core styles, and more consistency in core/seasonal colours to help me understand what they are trying to communicate as a brand when clothing their customer. The cotton they use feels great on the skin, but their more 'fashion-oriented' clothing is a bit confusing for me to make heads or tails out of what I might want to buy (other than a t-shirt).

Compliment sandwhich : ⭐My order came packed inside a cute tote bag and included cute sticks . Thos was so cool and made the unboxing experience that much more special. ⭐I waited to purchase a matching set (briefs and bralette) until everything was on sale. The bralette was great. The briefs seem to be designed for those that are more 'narrow'. The seams on the pairs of briefs where very bulky and were sometimes uncomfortable to wear in tighter outfits. ⭐Its been a year of regularish wear and everything is still intact as expected. The brand's website is beautiful and easy to navigate! Three stars! Might not reccomend to a friend unless I know what theyre looking for in basics

I love the mission behind this brand and the simplicity of their designs. They keep to really classic styles that I'll wear throughout the years, and I love how they donate 100% of their proceeds to charity every Black Friday. They are truly trying to change the game when it comes to sustainable fashion. Two main issues I've experienced with them has been: - sizing (Very different depending on the clothing item. And their sizing ran extremely small, which was always frustrating) - quality (depending on the item you got, the item either held up super strong in the wash and was an amazing quality or it absolutely fell apart). As a newer brand, I think they're still trying to find their footing and their quality control- and because of the great style of their clothes and their mission, I'll continue to purchase from them and follow them. And give feedback on issues as they come up.

Very nice quality t-shirts. Sustainable clothing, I love the brands mission. I will be trying more of their products for sure. I love that my tshirt came packed in a cute tote bag.

I ordered a couple of basic turtleneck dresses and figured they'd be a good introduction to the label. Despite getting a lot of marketing-based emails, I only received one order-based email that confirmed my order. After 20 days I started wondering if the package had shipped or not. I wrote KOTN and they promptly responded and let me know that my order hadn't shipped because one of the items was out of stock. I understand mistakes happen, but this is a business that was established in 2015 so they've had a minute to work out the kinks. Was disappointing that the ecommerce interface wasn't linked to the inventory properly so they sold a product they didn't have. Was further compounded by no communications or pro-active outreach from the brand. I appreciate the prompt reply and the refund of my entire order. Just a bad first impression though.

I have one black turtle neck from this brand that I wear frequently. Haven’t tried any other products but they are great for sustainable and ethical basics!

Kotn is fantastic for high quality basics that aren’t crazy expensive. I have probably six or seven of their v-neck t shirts. They’re one of the only shirts I have that don’t get little holes after a few washes! My one downside is the lack of color choices. They have a few neutral colors, that’s it. I wish they would expand into more options like blue or pink. They also have fantastic customer service and helped when my package was lost in the mail!

Love the brand's mission and products - so great to have an ethical brand to look to for basics.

I really like the brand's mission of bringing in ethical and fashionable clothing to market at very fair prices, but as another reviewer mentioned, both the fit and quality of the items do often need improvement. Unfortunately, I really want to support companies like this, but if the clothes don't hold up after more than 1 wash then it's difficult to do so.

Honestly, everything I've tried from here is SUPER soft and luxurious to the touch. 10/10 shopping experience and high quality.

Disclaimer, I bought a Kotn dress at a thrift store. There was absolutely no flaws to the dress. The cotton is very soft and about mid-weight. I wear it as is or a base layer for colder months. Its probably one of the best basics I have. The design is simple so it is very versatile to style.

KOTN is making great basics that are sustainable. Sometimes there are some great trendy styles. The addition of the homewares seems remarkably natural—engaging marketing, similar to Mejuri.
