Kotn earns strong reviews for ultra-soft, durable-feeling Egyptian cotton basics that look polished and comfortable, though feedback also flags inconsistent sizing and uneven quality control. Reviews praise flattering tees like the Women’s Tee and cozy rib knits and scarves, while others cite shrinkage, tight neck openings, and garments stretching out or washing poorly, making the brand good for soft, ethical staples but unpredictable across styles.

  • KOTN is making great basics that are sustainable. Sometimes there are some great trendy styles. The addition of the homewares seems remarkably natural—engaging marketing, similar to Mejuri.

Quality varies and could be improved. Not inclusive sizing and sizing vary greatly!

  • I bought some gift items for Christmas. One did not work out, but they would not let me return it because it was more than 15 days. That seems restrictive for Christmas items. So I tried to exchange for two long sleeve T-shirts. I'm usually a small, but they were "fitted" so I went up a size. I even checked the size chart and a medium should have given me 6 extra inches. Received them, and they are SO small that I would probably need an XL just to get it over my head as the neck opening is also super small. Now I can't exchange these for a larger size because they were sale items. I would not have purchased anything on this site if I'd have known about the restrictive return/exchange policies. I didn't even look for that because this is very unusual these days.

  • So happy to find an on-trend clothing brand that cares about ethical manufacturing and being low waste. Everything fits great and is lasting. I started with a sweater and a t-shirt and now own three of each.

More men's bottoms would be great (jeans, pants) as I struggle to find eco-friendly versions in other stores.

  • I bought three pieces from them: a black mock neck sweatshirt, the terry cropped hoodie and a high neck black tank. The tank was the only thing that was even remotely acceptable. The sweatshirt was made out of such thick material, it fit strangely; and, the neck opening was so tight i had to stretch the crap out of it to get it over my head. Once it was on, it felt tight and uncomfortable. But! the worst piece of clothing was the hoodie. I washed it in cold water and laid flat to dry , but it completely stretched out asymmetrically and shrunk up in the back. Kotn actually refunded me for it, but gave me store credit. I used it on a set of sheets—which (surprise, surprise) was another huge letdown! $150 for a single fitted sheet and two pillowcases. The quality wasn't even good: basic, cheap looking stitching.

The quality and fit of the clothes needs major improvement. Also, you can't leave reviews on their website unless it's approved by them ("selected reviews") so that's likely why there are so many 5 star reviews.
