Jones Road Beauty earns mixed reviews: the Miracle Balm frequently delights with dewy, glow-enhancing, no-makeup finishes and versatile shades like Au Naturel, Bronze, and Dusty Rose, while What The Foundation and some balms feel sticky, oily, or separate over time. Reviewers praise the easy, minimalist aesthetic, effective Face Pencils for targeted concealing, and initially impressive mascara that can later clump; complaints include glittery finishes on aging lids, dry or tugging pencils under eyes, odd smells, grainy textures, and packaging that feels bulky or cheap.

  • I am addicted to Miracle Balm! I have bought it in 5-6 colors, and use it for a little glow, highlights, and to add some color to my cheeks. It can feel a little heavy and slightly tacky in the summer, but extra blending makes it settle into the skin.

  • So far I have tried their foundation, colour correction stick, concealer sticks, eyeshadow, mascara and miracle balm. I like them all to varying degrees. You do have to learn to use them properly but I will say the colour correction and balm are favourites of mine. The foundation isn't full coverage but I like that. I don't want a heavy makeup look or feeling. You get a great amount of product for the price (a little goes a long way).

  • Love the simplicity of the products and packaging. The ingredients work well with my sensitive skin, and the website is lovely to navigate. I also love the subtle spicy smell (ginger?) of the balms!

  • I'm really surprised by the bad reviews of JRB on here, I've only tried a few products but have been really pleasantly surprised by them. I bought the Miracle Balm in a few colours as I was really impressed with the consistency and results after trying the Au Naturel shade - they live skin dewy and glowing - perfect if you're more into 'no make up, make up' which is what Bobbi Brown is all about. I'd love for them to bring out a cream concealer, as I'm not super sold on the face pencil as I prefer a little heavier coverage. The packaging is nice quality, I like the minimalist branding too.

  • The face pencil blends super easy and is perfect for a lightweight, targeted concealer!

  • Lovely, beautiful formulas and products with slightly ludicrous pricing. I enjoyed the brand enough to be on the watch out for good sales.

  • I was so excited when they flagship sure opened in Montclair, NJ. The salad associate was really helpful, and over a few months I bought lots of things. I LOVED the miracle balm in the natural shade. I don't wear makeup daily, but this gives my face a little extra glow that feels very natural. The pink shade was nice for the summer. I got the brown pencil and loved it, but my eyelids swelled up right after. I used the wtfoundation and really liked the coverage, but discovered that my face is sensitive to some of the ingredients. I realized that's why my face often gets a little itchy with the products. I continue to use the miracle balm, but have stopped using the foundation and eye pencil, even though I love them. Also love the oil stick, which I keep in my car for when my face is extra dry in the mornings. I would suggest to figure out if you're sensitive to the ingredients before purchasing.

  • Have tried a good amount of Jones Road Product and really appreciate how simple and clean they are. I use the eye-cream daily though I never know if eye-creams are effective in general, but it feels nice!

  • I was a long time Bobbi Brown line fan and when I found out she was doing her own thing was so excited. I also wanted a skin tint not a heavy foundation. Of the foundation, miracle balm and liquid eye shadow, I only consistently use the miracle balm. The foundation settles and doesn’t work all that well with my skin tone. The eye shadow migrated terribly, but, it’s liquid and I have transfer issues with many liquid shadows.

  • A few things I love about JRB: - Their eye cream - the first eye cream ever that I've repurchased. - Their packaging - Their website - Their minimalism What I like less: - Their concealer pencil - The price point Great brand, not sure if it's worth the money.

  • For the people with dry skin, you will love these products. The miracle balm does well on its own, if you are looking for a natural glow and want a little brightness without a full face of makeup. I have also tried the WTF and it takes some getting used to, because it's extremely moisturizing and leaves a sticky finish if your face doesn't absorb the emollient based coverage. I like the products, but you get too much balm in the packaging to use it up in six months and the packaging for the WTF and eye shadow is bulky.

  • As I approach midlife, I suddenly am fighting wrinkles instead of acne and have dry skin. It’s all very confusing after decades of choosing oil-free all of the things. I’ve tried what seems like a million “regular” foundations and they all sit so heavily. WTF is a very different product. It almost looks like a gel in the jar. Skin must be fairly moisturized before using it, although I don’t need a primer (tg). It applies smoothly—I use a slightly damp sponge for a lighter application and a brush followed by a dry sponge on days when more coverage is needed. WTF is medium coverage at its heaviest. It wears best with a light set of translucent powder. Cream-based products work the best on top of it although I can make powder products work if they are gently applied. They are just difficult to blend. The best thing about WTF is that my skin is not dry at the end of the day when I remove it. And it does actually look like that elusive my skin but better. The price is a drawback as is the packaging. An open-face screw top jar for a foundation product is ridiculous. I can’t think of an option that I would like less than this. Shade range is unfortunately very limited.

  • I got the Jones Road miracle balm and it barely made any difference in my skin tone. I wanted it to work as advertised, but it did not.

I think the advertisement should be more descriptive.

  • Amazing products. I got this for my mom and ended up getting double for my self after trying hers! Their products don't promise any dramatic changes. They are clean and simple beauty products that are easy to use and last a while. Appreciate the mission and the results

  • Great, neutral branding.

As a man, I don’t want it to be apparent that I’m wearing makeup but have dark circles around my eyes and some unevenness/redness. The pencils are perfect for under eye and blemish covering. It’s so nice to be able to rub them in with my fingers effortlessly. I have 3 shades that I use throughout the year and have been a customer for about one and a half years. Recently, I ordered the What the Foundation and the shade recommended from the pencils I use is perfect. It’s a nice dewy finish that blends better than I thought it would. It’s great for when I want my skin to have the perfect even, dewy glow.

  • The Miracle balm is so easy to use! Im no good at makeup and I find it gives me the perfect hint of color on my cheeks, plus I feel good about using it!

The mascara, though others rave about it, always feels clumpy to me :(

  • I love Bobbi Brown, and still am a big fan of her namesake brand. But I love Jones Road, too. The skincare is great, and the makeup is fun - definitely shimmery and colorful, but also subtle and lets the skin shine through.

Eyeshadow creased a bit with long wear.

  • This brand feels like a grown-up Glossier -- simple, unfussy makeup and skincare. Miracle Balm: HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT. Whenever I wear it I get compliments on my skin. I will use this forever, and not just because you get so much product that it will last years The Face Pencils: not for me. They felt dry and caked/pilled on my skin. I also couldn't quite find my shade(s) Just a Sec Eyeshadow: 8/10, I love the color and it stays super well, but not a revolutionary product by any means.

  • I'm a big fan of Jones Road and Bobbi Brown. She's an absolute boss and has crafted a simple but stunning line in Jones Road. My favorite products by far are the miracle balm and shimmer face oil. The miracle balm is such a versatile product and great especially in colder or drier weather because of its balm consistency. The shimmer face oil is seriously stunning. I really don't like glitter in face products, and this is the perfect shimmer without seeing pieces of glitter. It's beautiful as a base or mixed with complexion products.

While the products are fantastic, this brand is a bit pricey. Definitely a nice splurge item to treat yourself, but not the most affordable.

  • Bobbi Brown knocked it out of the park with Jones Road! Everything is so simple to use, universally flattering, and fairly affordable (more expensive than Glossier but less expensive than the original Bobbi Brown line).

My favorite products are the Miracle Balm (I use it on my eyes, lips, and cheeks), and the Face Pencil (great for covering up pesky zits and under eye circles). I do wish the Face Pencil came with the sharpener, but not a huge deal.
