Reviews mention

  • High-protein, plant-based nutrition
  • Flavorful, umami-rich broths
  • Convenient, quick preparation
  • Versatile base for add-ins
  • Rubbery, grainy noodle texture
  • Inconsistent, bland broths
  • Very salty soup bases
  • Small, skimpy portions

immi earns polarized reviews: many praise the plant‑based ramen for satisfying, high‑protein, low‑carb comfort with flavorful broths like Black Garlic “Chicken,” Spicy “Beef,” and Tom Yum, while a substantial number say it isn’t good because the noodles taste rubbery or grainy and the soups can be bland or overly salty. Reviews indicate it works well as a healthy base with add‑ins and easy prep, but texture inconsistencies, small portions, and flavor balance hold it back.

  • Immi noodles are a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a healthier alternative to traditional instant noodles. These low-carb, high-protein noodles are made from plant-based ingredients, making them a great option for those following a keto or vegan diet.

  • I don’t know why this company charging $6 for one packet. Only broth is good. But noodles no matter how long I boil them, these are still tough. And taste weird. Do not buy.

  • This tasted very good! I love ramen but it's so high calorie and high fat. I like that this is healthier and even has protein!

  • These noodles were not for me. I tried them chicken flavor and the broth was fine but the texture and taste of the noodles I couldn’t get over.

  • I love this idea! These plant-based better-for-the-body, better-for-the-planet ramen noodles are pretty good! (that said with all the refined wheat and gluten, I still wouldn't consider Immi a health food)

  • This was super easy to prepare and tasty, but a little expensive

  • Yummy instant noodles that are plant based! Low carb is greatly appreciated! Light on my stomach and easy choice that is better than conventional options! The cost is much too high for what you get in a bag.

  • I thought this brand of ramen was pretty good considering the macros. Normally things like these that are high protein and lower carbs don’t taste the best. The broth is what makes these noodles. I tried the chicken and the beef one. The noodles themselves I’d rate like a 5/10 but the broth changes it to a 8/10. My boyfriend actually really enjoyed these more than me. They are pretty pricey though but I’ve noticed them go on sale every now and then. I’d probably get these on occasion for my boyfriend when there is a sale.

  • Expensive, but tasty. we tried the pork tonkatsu so far. the texture of the noodles is pleasant. we cooked it to the lower end of the recommended cook time. it's close to authentic ramen with some resistance to it and has a nice chew. the broth is flavorful. has a nice fatty oily quality that i've experienced in restaurant prepared vegan yasai ramen from tomo. We added broccoli, just egg, portabella mushroom and some gimme lean sausage, and it was a big improvement. it's nice to have the extra variety of the additions, and these complemented it nicely.

  • I tried the garlic flavored ramen and found it to be quite good. Definitely compares well to my usual make-at-home ramen brands. I only wish there was a wider variety of flavors!

  • I love this ramen! It is super easy to make and is very versatile. The noodles are a bit chewier than typical ramen but will take that any day for a product that is much lower in carbs. I will definitely be buying this on a regular basis.

  • This was fine! The flavor was there, but the texture was not. Definitely a good alternative if you're looking for low-carb ramen.

  • I have been desperately searching for a more nutritious and healthy ramen noodle option since I fell in love with the stuff back in my college days and have been coming up short in terms of options that both taste good and are easy to prepare. This Asian noodle version from Immi is pretty good on both accounts.  The texture is wonderful and the noodles don’t fall apart when cooking, but the taste is a tad bland maybe because it is 100 percent plant based. However, the preparation and cooking is very easy and straight forward and the protein content is on point. Overall, this is a decent instant ramen Noodle Option, but it is a bit bland and pricey to make on the regular.

  • Really tried to get on board with Immi’s healthier version of ramen because I liked the concept of protein dense instant noodles but the flavor is just not good. Tried the garlic chicken and didn't like the flavor one bit. The noodles themselves just don't have the right texture. Would not recommend and would not buy again, especially at the steep price point.

  • The ramen was easy and fast to make, it was relatively good but didn’t satisfy me as much as normal ramen would but definitely a good alternative if you are trying to keep a high protein low calorie meal in.

  • I grew up on Top Ramen and as an adult I can still get my fix Immi. The amount of protein is remarkable, and I can easily fit it into my macros, especially if i add a few ramen style eggs. The shrimp and chicken flavor are my go to. I don't always use the full packet of spices, so then i can have left overs and use it on potatoes or whatever i'm roasting in the oven.

  • I actually enjoyed the flavor of this (espeically the "shrimp" variety), which seems to be polarizing for a lot of people — it's not mindblowing, but definitely a step above your regular budget ramen flavors. I know the ingredients are also higher quality than budget ramen, but the price here is just so high for something that isn't very filling. If there were pieces of vegan protein or anything beyond noodles & broth, it might do more to justify the cost.

  • I have tried different flavors of immi ramen, both from Amazon and Whole Foods. The noodle base is pretty much the same regardless of flavor. Rather, it is the sauce packet that makes the difference in how well each variety tastes. Most recently, I tried 3 different varieties - spicy beef, black garlic chicken, Tom Yum shrimp. All varieties taste pretty good and are comparable to my previous experience with other flavors (pork tonkatsu, creamy chicken, spicy red miso). After some trial and error, I would recommend the following cooking method to make the noodles more palatable: - Cook the noodles over stove top for at least 10 minutes. Stir often to untangle the noodle threads. - Use part of cooking water to mix the sauce and use as soup base. Sample the broth, but just don't drink the whole thing (very salty!) - Add kelp, eggs, onions, etc. to make a full noodle dish. Keep in mind that this pumpkin flour blend is very different from the usual wheat-based noodles. Texture will be different from conventional ramen. Just enjoy the noodles as a healthier alternative to ramen.

  • I really wanted to love these, but the taste was just off. I purchased the black garlic chicken and I do not think the flavor profile matched at all. Maybe another flavor would be better!
