  • High-protein, plant-based nutrition
  • Flavorful, umami-rich broths
  • Convenient, quick preparation
  • Versatile base for add-ins
  • Rubbery, grainy noodle texture
  • Inconsistent, bland broths
  • Very salty soup bases
  • Small, skimpy portions

immi earns polarized reviews: many praise the plant‑based ramen for satisfying, high‑protein, low‑carb comfort with flavorful broths like Black Garlic “Chicken,” Spicy “Beef,” and Tom Yum, while a substantial number say it isn’t good because the noodles taste rubbery or grainy and the soups can be bland or overly salty. Reviews indicate it works well as a healthy base with add‑ins and easy prep, but texture inconsistencies, small portions, and flavor balance hold it back.

  • Good concept - a quick, high protein and healthier bowl of noodles. Not as delicious as my usual picks and the noodles have a texture that takes some getting used to. Biggest knock is the price, at over $6 per packet. Local grocery store has them slightly cheaper but they don’t seem great value for money. At $3-4, I could see a place for them in the pantry.

  • This is attractive alternative ramen in a wildly overpriced package. Delivered double-bagged but otherwise, in an ordinary ramen wrapper, it's based on a low-carb, high-protein noodle whose main ingredients are pumpkin seed protein and wheat gluten, along with a vegetarian "chicken" broth. The texture of the noodles is chewy, even after the long-cooked time of 7 minutes (presumably disqualifying this from the "instant noodle" name), but not offensively so; I found the slight rubber band texture and mildly nutty flavor interesting enough. The broth is quite bland and not very strongly reminiscent of anything apart from nutritional yeast, which it contains a lot of; it's mildly garlicky and not very "chicken"-like at all, and I found I much preferred it juiced up with a lot of additional hot sauce, vinegar, etc. rather than in its original bland form. It's not bad, just dull, but if I were reordering (which I wouldn't do at this high price!) I'd consider other, more flavorful flavors instead. The noodles aren't bad, just somewhat different from the usual instant-cooking, ridiculously high-carb, slick, and slurpy ones, but they're not worth the current high price. If they were price-competitive with traditional ramen, I'd consider them for better nutrition and variety of texture, but there's no way I'd go for it at 4-6 times their price.

  • There's many other plant-based ramen brands that actually taste great!! The branding on immi ramen is fantastic, and the flavors seem promising but they end up being a flavorless let down (to me) in the end.

  • I like the authenticity of the product. Much better than other instant Ramen packets I’ve tried before. I like the chicken flavor!

  • My partner and I ended up with a few of these packages from a friend that was moving, and I was impressed. Being vegetarian I just assume most ramen to have some form of animal by-product, these were a sure winner. Thicker than most noodles, they held up quite well in the dish, and the high protein count is worthy enough to try again.

  • Delicious one of the best in store ramens I have ever had with only 1 gram of sugar and no cholesterol.

  • This product was easy to locate at my local store based on the bright yellow packaging. These noodles are very expensive for a package of ramen....5.99! That said, I tried them because I received a BOGO offer from Thingtesting to taste these and give my opinion. I did really like them and the fact that net carbs are quite a bit lower than regular ramen noodles. The flavor was great and it felt GOOD to eat noodles that are better for me than regular instant noodles. Overall, I would recommend these based on flavor, but wow....that price is high...

  • Overall, super tasty. Took a little time to refine the way I made these noodles so that it hit both my appropriate level of broth to noodle as it differed from the directions on the package. Once I got that down, I really enjoyed the taste. One area of possible improvement is the amount of noodle that is broken during shipping. Too many of the dry is broken into super tiny pieces inside the packaging.

  • As an insulin dependent diabetic I was really excited to try these. Sadly disappointed. Incredibly salty and left me hungry. It also gave me a big delayed blood sugar spike hours later. No thanks.

  • I looooove ramen!!! If I could eat it every day I would but already have high cholesterol. Really love this as a healthier high protein alternative to my usual noodles.

  • For a high-protein plant-based option, these were great. However, I did find them to be pretty salty and lacking that specific ramen noodle chew. The black garlic chicken flavor was nice and I will definitely try them again!

  • Yum! Love this brand. Protein and low carb. Perfect post workout snack or for camping. Brought it for the entire family and they loved it!

  • Great ramen alternative, easy to make and I added a ton of toppings to make it into a well rounded meal. VERY SALTY, so beware!

  • Healthy and delicious. It's hard to find plant based instant ramen flavors this good

  • I really like this product with the health and protein based function. The mission and vision is great. The pea protein taste and texture is chewier and thicker than what you would be used to with typical instant ramens. As long as you know your purpose and what you are getting into with this product, you will have a great experience. My friends who cooked this thinking they were getting Shin or other major brands were in for a shock until they understood the health packed focus of Immi ramen.

  • Love the concept. Definitely have a different texture and taste then regular ramen but it doesn't bother me. It helps me with my ramen cravings, while trying to keep healthier eating habits.

Would love to see a gluten-free option

  • Great vegan ramen alternative. These flavors pack a punch! I had the Spicy "Beef" Ramen variant and surprised by how flavorful and rich the spice packet was. This is a good option for those who crave Asian inspired flavors and want a quick bite at home.

  • I will give the noodles 2 stars for being plant based, but everything from the price to the flavor to the texture felt lacking. It’s instant noodles, so you are expecting a cheap meal, but they are $5 a package. And then the noodles are a bit rubbery and tough, with a very light flavor. I don’t think I would purchase them again.

  • This was not the best instant ramen. I am not vegan or vegetarian but decided to try this product because of the protein content. The taste was not at all to my liking and I ended up throwing away most of the packet. The noodles had a strange texture and the spices were grainy.
